Assalmualaikum,
I attend an American high school and graduation requirement states we must have 4 years of physical education. I understand the requirement but, I’m a niqabi who practices full hijab, and the uniform for PE exposes the shape and curves of my body. I have reached out for a change in classes or even an alternative. This was rejected and I was told to basically “suck it up” and that this issue was only my discomfort with changing in the locker rooms. I was also told that this was a new problem I was bringing up and that no other Muslim students had complained about it. In this case what can I do?

I am a Muslim and I am assured that QURAN is devine. I used to surf websites so I found that in an anti-Islamic site there was mentioned that inheritance shares are not summing as 1 I have searched regarding It but not satisfied and this question is haunting me for years. I believe that QURAN can't have contradictions so I should ask someone who is knowledgeable.(I don't know arabic ) sorry for grammatical mistakes

It is stated in the noble Quran:
> Allah instructs you concerning your children: for the male, what is equal to the share of two females. But if there are [only] daughters, two or more, for them is two thirds of one's estate. And if there is only one, for her is half. And for one's parents, to each one of them is a sixth of his estate if he left children. But if he had no children and the parents [alone] inherit from him, then for his mother is one third. And if he had brothers [or sisters], for his mother is a sixth, after any bequest he [may have] made or debt. Your parents or your children - you know not which of them are nearest to you in benefit. [These shares are] an obligation [imposed] by Allah . Indeed, Allah is ever Knowing and Wise.

And for the wives is one fourth if you leave no child. But if you leave a child, then for them is an eighth of what you leave, after any bequest you [may have] made or debt. And if a man or woman leaves neither ascendants nor descendants but has a brother or a sister, then for each one of them is a sixth. But if they are more than two, they share a third, after any bequest which was made or debt, as long as there is no detriment [caused]. > [An-Nisā' 4:11-12](https://quran.com/4/11-13)
I'm taking one of the cases in which a husband dies and leaves behind a wife, a daughters and his parents.
Man dies leaving behind
Wife is 1/8 = 3/24
Daughters 1/2 = 12/24
Father 1/6 = 4/24
Mother1/6 = 4/24
Total = 23/24 = .9583333333333333333
As you see the total is less than one.
Another case of the same kind in which a husband dies and leaves behind a wife, 3 daughters and his parents.
Man dies leaving behind
Wife is 1/8 = 3/24
Daughters 2/3 = 16/24
Father 1/6 = 4/24
Mother1/6 = 4/24
Total = 27/24 = 1.125
Here the total is more than one.

The renowned South American writer, Borges , gave a series of conferences on diverse topics called *Siete Noches* (Seven nights), where we can read/hear the following (among many other scattered comments on the subject).
> For the ulema, the doctors of Muslim law, the Qurʾān is not a
book like the others. It is a book ―this is incredible, but this is how it
is― previous to the Arabic language, so one may not study it
historically or philologically, because it is previous to the Arabs, previous
to its/their language, and previous to the universe. Nor even do
they admit that the Qurʾān be a work of God; it is something more
intimate and mysterious. The Qurʾān, for the orthodox Muslims, is an
attribute of God, like His rage, His mercy, or His justice. The Qurʾān itself
speaks of a mysterious book, the mother of the book, the celestial archetype of the Qurʾān. It is in heaven and is worshiped by the angels.
(my own literal translation).
I am interested in the second part of the paragraph where he says that the Qurʾān is considered an attribute of God. Does that exist in any school of Islamic mysticism? If so, which ones and what else has been said along those lines.

As per this hadith,

it is mentioned that **"He used to go in seclusion in the cave of Hira where he used to worship (Allah alone) continuously for many days before his desire to see his family."**
My question is what Prophet used to do in the cave as there was no concept of namaaz at that time. How and what he used to worship? Which surah and whatever relevant Prophet used to speak in the worship? What was his day like in the cave?

When I had free time I would love to read, but due to COVID I can't access any 'real' library books, so I just started reading online books. After some time in reading though I started reading characters having sex, I didn't know what it was at first but after some research I started to realize what is it. I try not to read but it's just so addicting, I really am trying to stop because I don't know if it's haram and I want to stop but I just can't. Every time I try blocking that book it comes back into my mind and I read it again. After I read it I feel regret and ask for forgiveness. I always wish I hadn't read it but once again it'll come into my mind and I'll read it and therefore the cycle restarts. I don't know if it's good or bad and I don't know how to stop. What should I do?

I have had a hard time dealing with Muslim clergies and orthodoxy big time. There is aggression and intolerance in them which is hard to counter. I believe this can be one of the seeds of all the ills of Muslim brotherhood that we witness at various places.
What is the reason it exists? Why are some of us so intolerant? Is their any historical or contemporary event/events responsible for it?

Assalamualaikum,
I was reading tawilat al-quran for tafseer and i came across this hadith for surah anbya verse 33, which i couldn't understand. I am quoting directly, is this hadith authentic and how do we reconcile this with today's astrology?
The apparent meaning of the verse indicates that there is a sea or a river there and that the sun and the moon swim in it, they set and rise from there. Because Allah Almighty says that each one swims in an orbit. Everyone knows what swimming means. The root “Se-be-ha” (سَبَحَ) means swam in the sea or river. This is what is understood from the apparent meaning of the verse. There are also narrations that confirm this and have come down to us. According to what is reported from Ibn Abbas, The Prophet reported: “Allah has created a sea three leagues deep under the earth's sky. This spilling has been prevented and it remains in the air by God's command. And not even a drop drips from it. All seas are calm. But this sea flows at the speed of an arrow. Then its air condition is flat. It is like a mountain stretched between east and west, and the sun, moon and all the stars are floating in this sea. This is the meaning of the statement that each of them floats in an orbit.”

The question came to mind because of the recent war in Palestine. The jews who are fighting Palestinians are doing so because they have to do compulsory military service, so even if they dislike killing people, they are compelled to do so.
Note: I have asked same question in Judaism section also. Actually Muslims and Jews are brothers who are descended of our patriarch Abraham (Peace be upon him), It is sad to see them fighting each other, I feel like they are forced to fight each other by some who have vested interest in this conflict.
