Assalamu Alaykum, I have Jummah prayer in my school alhamdulillah but Dhuhr is at 1pm right now and we do the prayer during lunch at 12:00-12:45 pm. The prayer plus the khutbah takes 30 minutes. If we were to do the Jummah at its proper time, we would miss almost half of the lesson (for reference, a period is 75 minutes). My school had already asked a local Sheikh and he said it would be permissible to pray earlier. My friends are concerned about the source. Would it be permissible to pray Jummah earlier due to our circumstance?

I was feeling extreme thirst while fasting today. I did not feel sick but I woke up only one hour before suhoor and I did not get to drink that much water. I had thoughts about breaking my fast to drink some or to drink a little and then continue fasting. I wasn't sure but after a while I was about to, and then later on I changed my mind. I asked people online about it and when someone told me it is not a valid reason to, I decided not to and to just wait until maghrib. I am now continuing with my fast but I'm concerned if thinking this already broke it. Is my fast still valid?

*side note, (الدُّبَّاءِ) *dubba'e* is not a pumpkin per-se but more precisely calabash or long melon because pumpkins were not discovered until Columbus in the 15th century. A bit of an anachronism since the hadith takes place 1,400 years ago.

Assalam Alaikum.
I work as a laborer in a warehouse. My daily task is to physically pick and handle boxes containing food. These boxes are then placed on pallets, and later those pallets are transported by truck to stores for customers to buy.
- About 15% of the boxes I pick and handle **daily** contain **pork**. I don't physically touch the pork, but the box containing it.
- About 10% of meat products like beef, lamb and chicken are not labelled halal - status is unknown.
- The remainder 75% are non - meat products like vegetables and bread.
I have to pick and handle these boxes that contain pork, and I am unable to avoid this - it is part of my job and I have to do it and I do this everyday I am there. Handling pork is mandatory in this role. I am not in sales, ownership, or management. I am manual labor / logistics. **I am paid a wage for labor**, not commission or pork sales.
1. Do I have to leave this job? Is it haram? I do not want to do any other role in this company but this role.
2. Is my income haram? If so, how much? All of it or only the percentage of pork?
I am **not** in **necessity** or in dire need. I have money saved up and can live comfortably and find an alternative job.
If you can please help me with this and give me some guidance with references I will greatly appreciate it.
Thank you very much.

I got an impurity on my trousers. I rubbed the place a little under water. Then I used it, but the stain of impurity was still visible, as the area was wet. It touched my skin. Is the trouser impure? Is the area of my body that it touched also impure?

There are some divine laws which are decreed, and I don’t like them because, I can’t do things I liked.
I have told about this to my Christian mother, and she told me that this means that I rise up against God if I don’t like some divine laws.
I have also asked my Muslim father regarding this, and he said that it is not an act of disbelief to dislike some divine laws.
And another Muslim told me 99% correct as my mother told me.
What confuses me is that, both they differently then one another, and I can’t tell who’s right or wrong, and I don’t know if **by disliking some divine laws entails an act of disbelief? Yes or no? If yes, where’s the clear proof?**
Because, I’ve told my mother that I don’t have the intention to rise up against God, I’m a nobody to do this. And she insist by telling me that, even though you think that you do not have this intention, still it is an act of disbelief.
The reason for disliking some divine laws is because, it makes me feel uncomfortable, and I’m obligated to stay away from doing things I like.
Can someone please give me a concrete information regarding this issue? Because, I have this problem for long time.
I can’t tell why and how this is definitely an act of disbelief.

Al-salam alaikum warahmtullahi wabarakatuhu. As we all know, by consensus shaving the beard is Haram except for a small opinion within the Maliki madhab I think?
My question is; is it permissible for one to shave his beard in case of coercion in the form of parents threatening to divorce over it (it is silly yes but there are some mentally unstable people like that) and/or the threat of being kicked out of those house into streets (when the threat is real, ie: when someone has already been kicked out for a short while for the reason of not shaving their beard.)
JazakAllah khairan.

This is a question which requires some fiqh knowledge. I just want to discuss the fiqh of it, so would prefer, if personal biases are set aside in answering the question.
My question is, would it be a correct understanding, Islamically, that when the ruling of a matter is “permissible” in the shariah rather than “Mustahhab” or “Sunnah” one can weigh the pros or cons of that matter and make own personal decision on whether to practice it or not? I ask this specifically in the context of polygamy.
If one can think to potential harms polygamy might cause - such as pain to the wife/woman and possibly statistics that point to harms would it be correct to advice against polygamy weighing its pros and cons? For eg drinking energy drinks is permissible but it’s not good for you - so you may discourage it. Just like that would it be islamically fine to discourage polygamy? Would it be different in the case of polygamy because polygamy is explicitly mentioned in the Qur’an? What is in my mind as I think about this issue is verse 1 of Surah tahrim.
By the way, for the benefit of this discussion, I am referring to the opinion of those scholars who consider polygamy only permissible and not Sunnah. I understand there are other opinions but that is not what this discussion is about.
Like I said I am interested in the fiqh so I would appreciate someone wijt some knowledge of fiqh and for personal biases to be set aside.

Assalamu alaikum.
I'm a **software developer** planning to work on (and possibly co-found) a **Web3-based ticketing platform for sports and music events**. My role is purely technical: building the blockchain/smart contract system for ticket sales, verification, and resale prevention. The platform is neutral and could be used for halal sports events, but users might buy tickets to music concerts or parties, which some views consider haram due to **singing, dancing, or free mixing.**
Am I assisting in **sin** if customers use it for potentially haram activities? Would I be accountable for their sins, or is it their choice? If I become a co-founder, does that change anything? Please provide references from Quran, hadith, or scholars and let me know can i work on this project?. Jazakallah khair.

Or is it that we should only rely on quran and sunnah for our life decisions and not take on consideration life coïncidances as signs and something to act upon. Translation: "I have made myself attentive towards Him who has created the earth & sky & I surrendered to Him. I am not one of those who associate something with Him."
**Question:** This is done in Hanafi school but I want to know if there's an authentic Hadith.
According to this article ["What Is Namaz"](http://www.islamic-web.com/namaz-salat/what-is-prayer/) it is said **before** the Niyyah. I thought the order was Niyyah, Takbeer, opening du'a (there's a few).

are there any other opinions of scholars on this? Does the quran explicitly mention that every legal heir MUST recieve something.
this seems to be a good counter argument, and seems like a just distribution:-

The hadith :

So what should be my reply ? What is the explanation and the context of the hadith? What is the logical answer?
We know that in Islam, punishment behind other crimes such as fornication, orders to kill mushrik in Quran etc. has a background, context and logic. So what is the logic, background and context behind this ?
It will be helpful if anyone answer.
