Salam brothers and sisters I hope you're doing well. I've seen posts from people who are part of the LGBTQ+ community talking about how Islam is a homophobic religion and so is the Quran as they take our beliefs as offense because one of them said "your religion is calling me sinner" and they complain that Muslims and Christians are "homophobic" as we only respect lgbtq+ but don't support them. They think that by not supporting them we're saying they "don't deserve basic human rights" I've heard my parents' advice to just stay quiet but what I want is to stand up for myself and others who are being remotely harassed and being called homophobic because I'm seeing theophobia occurring to Muslims, Christians or anyone with religious faith more than any actual homophobia.
So I wanted to ask how can I make others aware that I'm not trying to be hateful or homophobic while explaining that our religion is not meant to offend them? Because if I explain, they might likely say "you're using religion to backup your statement" and I don't want to just simply stay silent. I want to actually stand up and explain to them but without sounding mean or dismissive. I don't know what to say. I also feel that they're victimizing themselves because they believe some of us aren't "admitting" to being homophobic when we're not and using our religion as an "excuse" to "tolerate" them. While they demand respect, they're also disrespecting religious people by saying we're "allowed" to hate religion but we "can't" hate someone's sexuality and how being queer is a "choice" and religion "isn't a choice" I know that by asking questions about someone's religion is not at all criticising, but calling someone's religion "homophobic" isn't right.

Assalamu Alaikum Brothers in Islam,
In a scenario where a Muslim has something of his stolen, and another Muslim brother comes along and informs him of the thief and his whereabouts and gives a testimony of him witnessing the robbery which is later proved to be accurate and the theif is caught.
In this case, can the owner of the stolen goods reward the brother who helped him, with a portion of that stolen goods as a token of thanks?
Is this considered imitating the kufr or unislamic in anyway or can it be understood to be encouraged?

My Question is:
What are/is the view(s) of scholars on performing qada' for nafl/sunna prayers, is it recommended, if yes how and are there any limitation (for example can I do qada' when ever I recall it as the case for fard according the sahih hadith:
> "He who forgets the prayer, or he slept (and it was omitted), its expiation is (only) that he should observe it when he remembers it."
. or can I only make up the prayers I missed actually).

Salaam
I'm a 15 year old girl who goes to an islamic private school. Because of my mum constantly urging me to wear the niqaab I decided to wear it a year back. My older sister also started to wear the niqaab on from a young age and she has had no problems with it.
Recently I've took it back off. This was because of many reasons, some being, I no longer felt like I was doing it for allah. Rather I felt like I was wearing the niqaab to keep up the reputation of my family. To not bring shame to my family which I think is absolutely ridiculous. Also I had no confidence when I was wearing the niqaab. I felt embarrassed and it was just something that I felt attracted more attention than necessary. Not only this I don't think my imaan was at that stage where I could take this huge step in covering my face permanently.
Lately my mum keeps pressuring me to wear the niqaab again. Its come to the point where I despise wanting to wear it. It's not like I dress inappropriately. I wear the abaya or something that substitutes to it for example a long dress. I don't go out alone and I definitely don't have any male friends. Knowing this my mum is practically forcing me to the point where I have refused to go outside.
My mum makes the situation out to be bigger than it is. She asked my dad to tell me and I still stood my ground. My father doesn't do or say much about it which I'm grateful for however my mum expects me to just obey her in this matter. I feel like it's oppression. My mum has stripped me off of my feelings, my own opinions and judgment. Can she really do this to me islamically?
I'm old enough to know what is right and wrong. Wearing the niqaab is a life long decision that is personal. Right now I don't have much of a choice. I know for a fact that I'm probably going to wear it in the end. Not because I want to but because I'm being forced to. Despite this I still want to put effort in to try and get my mum to understand me.
How can I do that?
Is my mum sinning by doing what she is?
I love my parents and I'm not one to disrespect them like this but standing for what I believe in is something I've learned from a young age.

Assalamualaikum I'm a Muslim but I keep having doubts about my religion and I just needed clarification on this. in a Authentic Hadith By Bukhari it said Muhammad Pbuh killed a puppy/or made the dog get out of his house because he was expecting a visit from Angel Gabriel but he didn't come until later and explained he doesn't go in houses/places were there are dogs or pictures of living things. If Allah commanded angel Gabriel to pay a visit to Muhammad why would the angel be bothered by Allahs creation?. I've look for an answer to this question for about a month now searching every website and I couldn't get a valid or concrete response. Why would Allah angels be bothered by his creation so much that they don't want to be in the presence of a dog? Every answer I got was so bad it lowered my faith almost empty to the point where I was gonna leave Islam . I've gotten answers like "it was because angel jibreal was not an angel of god but one of the fallen angels and dogs can sense evil things so if angel jibreal would've walked in his cover would have been blown immediately. " another answer similar to that "Angel Gabriel was a demon , in the bible it says Satan disguises himself as a angel of light and is a very good deceiver" And there's so many more . Please if anyone is active on this website and they see this message please give me an answer as to why this happened.

An equated monthly installment (EMI) is defined by Investopedia as:
> "A fixed payment amount made by a borrower to a lender at a specified date each calendar month. Equated monthly installments are used to pay off both interest and principal each month, so that over a specified number of years, the loan is paid off in full."
You can read full detail on [Wikipedia](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Equated_monthly_installment) .

I live in a foster family of non-muslims/ non-mahrams and they eat haram and drink haram and I am a Muslim and they let us eat halal. But there are my two sisters and brother there too.
My question is if I sit with them and eat halal but they are eating haram and drinking haram (I am not eating haram), am I allowed to sit with them, is it haram or halal?
I think that I have heard a hadith about sitting with those who wine is being served to.
And if it is the case that I am not allowed to sit with them when they do that, does it apply to all haram meat (is there a hadith about sitting with those who are 'eating' haram)?
And what should I do if they do not allow me to follow the rulings of Islam?
Could you please quote some hadith with the exact source as well?

https://www.google.com/amp/s/islamqa.info/amp/en/answers/239026
The following are instances in Quran & sunni corpus where people attained Islam with a testimony which is different to the standard one.
1. The magicians of firaun said ***"We believe in the Rabb of Musa and harun"*** Quran 20:70
2. The people of ditch, ashabul aqdood said ***"We believe in the Rabb of this young man"***
[Muslim 3005]
3. Zaid bin amr bin nufayl said ***"O Allah bear witness I'm upon the religion of Ibrahim "***
[Bukhari 3827]
4. Waraqah bin nawfal affirmed that the angel which brought revelation to prophet is called namoos and ***he would support him if he was alive in future*** [bukhari 3392]
There is ijma that all above became muslims and waraqah became a companion by that statement of his as per some scholarly opinions.
https://islamqa.info/en/answers/182441/was-waraqah-ibn-nawfal-a-companion
Since the magicians of firaun didnt speak Arabic, it can be construed that they said the testimony with a identical wording in a different language.
So the question is can reverts whose language is not Arabic can say something similar to ***"I believe in deity of muhammad"*** or ***"I believe in deity of muslims"*** to validate to muslims that they follow Islam now?
PS: it will ease difficulty of non Arabic speaking reverts, to say the testimony, since Islam is easy [ bukhari 39]

I am a MD radiologist. To give some context I live in a non Muslim majority country. I work in a hospital 6 days a week. In our department there are 5 radiologist including me. Only 1 of them is female and rest all are male. And I am the only muslim there. I chose radiology because I had a good rank and it is also the top sought profession with a small closing rank.
Now our typical day involves CT scan, MRI, USG not only of pregnancy but also to evaluate organs like the liver, gallbladder, kidneys, and pancreas, to examine muscles, tendons, and joints, Vascular ultrasound,Thyroid ultrasound, Pediatric ultrasound, Cardiac ultrasound (echocardiogram), Prostate ultrasound, Other Ultrasound-guided procedures. Now we do have a good patient load hence everyone is busy. For female reproductive part disease related and breast related issues the female radio handles it almost 99% of time and also there is patient preference in this case. Rest work is done by division of labour.
Now as far as how work is concerned there is a male and a female attendent for respective genders regardless of the doctor's gender they do all covering, uncovering positioning, etc. We keep a device on belly(for ultrasonography) or the parts(for other disorders, not pelvis and breast for me) and it captures the image(so no direct physical contact), I study and report. A or two family member is always present and the attended is also there for full time.
I always keep my gaze lowered, don't look anything more or less than what area is required, nor go in excess talking with women. Sometimes there is emergency for female patients and I by duty have to attend it(we have divided work load).
Am I sinful for operating on female patients, like ultrasonography or say artery blockage in hand, broken bone or blockage in back?
