Rare Difficult in Praying Salah

--- **Assalamu Alaikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuh,** I hope you are well. I am writing to seek guidance regarding a difficulty I am facing in my Salah. I used to pray normally—silently with lip movement and a soft whisper. But over the years, due to waswasah and anxiety, I slowly started praying louder to avoid doubts about pronunciation. Now it has become a habit I cannot undo, and I feel I must hear every word clearly for my Salah to be valid. Even small background sounds like a fan disturb me, so I recite much louder than necessary. Because of this pressure, Salah has become very tiring. My tongue sometimes becomes stiff due to anxiety, and even Attahiyat becomes a struggle. I also tried returning to silent prayer, but it feels forced, unnatural, and even more incorrect, which increases my anxiety. This habit has also increased the duration of my Salah. Time is not an issue for me, but in India where people pray fast, others sometimes question why my prayer takes longer, which makes me more conscious. Praying in the mosque becomes harder because Imams complete Attahiyat very quickly. Many times the Imam stands up while I am still halfway through, which adds to my fear and confusion. All this has affected my khushu, and I often feel emotionally drained after Salah. I love Salah deeply and do not want waswasah to take away my peace. My questions are: 1. Is my Salah valid if I cannot clearly hear my recitation due to background sounds like a fan? 2. Can I pray with a soft whisper or only lip movement, even if doubts remain? 3. How can I break this habit of loud recitation and return to the proper silent method? 4. What should I do when I pray slower than the congregation or struggle to finish Attahiyat behind the Imam? 5. Are there Islamic guidelines or steps to overcome this type of waswasah? I would be grateful for your advice. May Allah reward you for helping people in these matters. **JazakAllahu Khairan. Wassalamu Alaikum wa Rahmatullah.** ---

Salaam I'm a 15 year old girl who goes to an islamic private school. Because of my mum constantly urging me to wear the niqaab I decided to wear it a year back. My older sister also started to wear the niqaab on from a young age and she has had no problems with it. Recently I've took it back off. This was because of many reasons, some being, I no longer felt like I was doing it for allah. Rather I felt like I was wearing the niqaab to keep up the reputation of my family. To not bring shame to my family which I think is absolutely ridiculous. Also I had no confidence when I was wearing the niqaab. I felt embarrassed and it was just something that I felt attracted more attention than necessary. Not only this I don't think my imaan was at that stage where I could take this huge step in covering my face permanently. Lately my mum keeps pressuring me to wear the niqaab again. Its come to the point where I despise wanting to wear it. It's not like I dress inappropriately. I wear the abaya or something that substitutes to it for example a long dress. I don't go out alone and I definitely don't have any male friends. Knowing this my mum is practically forcing me to the point where I have refused to go outside. My mum makes the situation out to be bigger than it is. She asked my dad to tell me and I still stood my ground. My father doesn't do or say much about it which I'm grateful for however my mum expects me to just obey her in this matter. I feel like it's oppression. My mum has stripped me off of my feelings, my own opinions and judgment. Can she really do this to me islamically? I'm old enough to know what is right and wrong. Wearing the niqaab is a life long decision that is personal. Right now I don't have much of a choice. I know for a fact that I'm probably going to wear it in the end. Not because I want to but because I'm being forced to. Despite this I still want to put effort in to try and get my mum to understand me. How can I do that? Is my mum sinning by doing what she is? I love my parents and I'm not one to disrespect them like this but standing for what I believe in is something I've learned from a young age.

Islamqa.info tells the shahadah can be ***affirmed in its meaning***. https://www.google.com/amp/s/islamqa.info/amp/en/answers/239026 The following are instances in Quran & sunni corpus where people attained Islam with a testimony which is different to the standard one. 1. The magicians of firaun said ***"We believe in the Rabb of Musa and harun"*** Quran 20:70 2. The people of ditch, ashabul aqdood said ***"We believe in the Rabb of this young man"*** [Muslim 3005] 3. Zaid bin amr bin nufayl said ***"O Allah bear witness I'm upon the religion of Ibrahim "*** [Bukhari 3827] 4. Waraqah bin nawfal affirmed that the angel which brought revelation to prophet is called namoos and ***he would support him if he was alive in future*** [bukhari 3392] There is ijma that all above became muslims and waraqah became a companion by that statement of his as per some scholarly opinions. https://islamqa.info/en/answers/182441/was-waraqah-ibn-nawfal-a-companion Since the magicians of firaun didnt speak Arabic, it can be construed that they said the testimony with a identical wording in a different language. So the question is can reverts whose language is not Arabic can say something similar to ***"I believe in deity of muhammad"*** or ***"I believe in deity of muslims"*** to validate to muslims that they follow Islam now? PS: it will ease difficulty of non Arabic speaking reverts, to say the testimony, since Islam is easy [ bukhari 39]

In mainstream Islam, Quran desecration such as burning the Quran, is widely regarded as highly disrespectful and offensive, irrespective of the person's beliefs. This perspective suggests that such acts should not be permitted in any state. However, this view seems to conflict with the principle of freedom of speech, as exemplified by the 2023 Quran desecration in Sweden . **My question is whether there exists an established, possibly liberal, interpretation of Islam, particularly within fiqh or Islamic jurisprudence, that allows for the burning of the Quran by non-Muslims (e.g., atheists) within a state that protects freedom of speech. If such an interpretation exists, what reasoning does it provide to support this stance?** I guess the answer may depend on whether the state is Islamic. I am aware that in Sweden, during July 2023, nearly all heads of established mosques called for a total ban on Quran desecration . Nonetheless, I am interested in exploring whether Islamic legal thought encompasses varying viewpoints on this matter and how they reconcile it with the principle of freedom of speech.

Assalamualaikum, I've been constantly experiencing was was in all aspects of worship (do not read if ur facing the same situation as I ended up mimicking other people's obsessive actions as well) whether it is my wudhu that I have to redo 3+ more time or doubting the purity of my clothes, my pronunciation ect... or if I released discharge during prayer (this one always turns out to be false so it easier for me to ignore it ) but there's also mainly if I did one or two sajda. For the later one recording myself praying and then checking made me realize that I've always performed it well everytime. So can I not even second guess it even tho the doubt is strong and am I allowed to not repeat any Salah regardless of how doubtful am I at least until the waswas is gone? and will Allah hold me accountable for not acting upon anything until it gets better?

I am a MD radiologist. To give some context I live in a non Muslim majority country. I work in a hospital 6 days a week. In our department there are 5 radiologist including me. Only 1 of them is female and rest all are male. And I am the only muslim there. I chose radiology because I had a good rank and it is also the top sought profession with a small closing rank. Now our typical day involves CT scan, MRI, USG not only of pregnancy but also to evaluate organs like the liver, gallbladder, kidneys, and pancreas, to examine muscles, tendons, and joints, Vascular ultrasound,Thyroid ultrasound, Pediatric ultrasound, Cardiac ultrasound (echocardiogram), Prostate ultrasound, Other Ultrasound-guided procedures. Now we do have a good patient load hence everyone is busy. For female reproductive part disease related and breast related issues the female radio handles it almost 99% of time and also there is patient preference in this case. Rest work is done by division of labour. Now as far as how work is concerned there is a male and a female attendent for respective genders regardless of the doctor's gender they do all covering, uncovering positioning, etc. We keep a device on belly(for ultrasonography) or the parts(for other disorders, not pelvis and breast for me) and it captures the image(so no direct physical contact), I study and report. A or two family member is always present and the attended is also there for full time. I always keep my gaze lowered, don't look anything more or less than what area is required, nor go in excess talking with women. Sometimes there is emergency for female patients and I by duty have to attend it(we have divided work load). Am I sinful for operating on female patients, like ultrasonography or say artery blockage in hand, broken bone or blockage in back?

Peace be upon you. I dealt with a large company, and they were unfair in some of their dealings. They took more money than the contract stipulated, and I paid them money for services, but they didn't do it, which created for me many problems with my business. They didn't abide by all the terms of the contract. Since they are a large company with lawyers, I couldn't do anything but terminate the contract. They took about $7,000 from me in total. However, when they paied the final invoice, they made a mistake and overcharged me by $10,000. Should I inform them of the mistake? Or should I just ignore it since they didn't treat me honestly? The amout that they give my error is more that what i owe them, but if i signal that to them i will be forced to give back all the 10k May God bless you.

I didn't find any question regarding baby showers , so I'll first explain what a baby shower is: it is a celebration for a lady during her 5th or 7th month of pregnancy; In this function, bangles were wore to the lady for her full hands (thus we also call it a "bangle function"). I want to know whether Islam allows this function? I need authentic answer because, now that I'm pregnant, my family people are planning to do so. My intuition is that Islam does not allow this kind of function. But I want proof that this is not allowed from hadith and Sunnah.
