I have relationship with a girl for about two years. We just text each other. And we promised each other not to come close to each other until we marry And by the grace of Allah we're fullfilling it and we will insha'Allah . And as far as I know these type of relationships are not permissible if one thinks he may fall to the worst sin (zina). Is it permissible because it protects both of us from many sins (e.g masturbation, pornography etc)?

I was born muslim ,and now i met 'wiswas' problem. I can't digest it which one was a whisper or my mind. And i always feels like whatever i have thought was made me left islam unknowingly!!!! Sometimes I'm sure I didn't doing anything wrong but i feel myself always carrying a lot of sin because i always have dirty thought about religion , god and then i feel guilty after i think it. And i feel like I'm not muslim anymore . So i keep taking shahada many many times because i don't want to left islam unknowingly!!! Always make me doubt when i was praying "will my prayer is valid or I'm already in state of kafir" Is it the best way for me to keep taking shahada many times? I can start my islam life after taken shahada or not? Even my feelings always the same everytime because i believe in allah and his prophet pbuh and whatever since first. Is there anyone have a better idea to deal with wiswas? Or at least way to make me calm . I'm really afraid if later i will die when i left islam unknowingly i don't want to go jahannam!!! Please help me and jazakallah. I'm soon crazy

A Christian claims that there is a relation between the mesopotamian moon god sin and islam
He claims that the surah ya-sin is mysterious in the nature of its name , and this might be it's interpretation.(I want to know wether god sin and ya-seen are written the same way in arabic or pronounced the same way )
He also says that the symbol of this moon god was the crescent moon which is exactly what you see on top of nearly every mosque
Also just put of curiosity (how is the name of this god sin even pronounced -is it seen or sin, would love a clarification)

What's the significance of placing one's right hand over the head after the prayer?
What is the significance of placing the [right](https://islam.stackexchange.com/q/10492/3487) hand on one's head after the prayer? Is it a manner of praying/supplication? If so, how is it different from the *usual* raising of the palms and having them faced upwards towards the sky?

When in Quran 24:43 it says
>“And he sends down from the sky, mountains [of clouds] within which is hail, and He strikes with it whom He wills and averts it from whom He wills.”
What does it mean “and he sends down from the sky” since these clouds are in the sky and not sent down? Could it mean that he doesn’t literally send it down from the sky but rather brings it closer to us as rain clouds are brought closer to us when it rains. But don’t these mountains of clouds have to already exist to be sent down to us? Someone please clear this up, Jazakallah Khair.

Does Aisha witnessing her father's migration to Abyssinia imply she could not have consummated her marriage at age 9?

In *How old was Aisha when she married the Prophet (s)?* , Dr. Jasser Auda◊ writes about ahadith describing Aisha's age of consummation:
> ... Unexpectedly Allah's Apostle came to me in the forenoon and my mother handed me over to him, and at that time I was a girl of nine years of age. -- Sahih al-Bukhari 3894 (sunnah.com )
along with Sahih Muslim 1422 a-d (sunnah.com ). He says other Bukhari ahadith *logically contradict the "nine years old" narration*, giving several ahadith as particular examples. One of these is described as follows:
> Bukhari himself also narrates (No. 2176) that Aisha witnessed her father’s attempt to migrate to Abyssinia, which was during the Year 4 of the Message (Year 9 Before Hijra) according to all accounts. This witnessing could not have happened before Aisha herself was born, as the "nine years old" hadith implies!
I surmise this refers to Sahih al-Bukhari 3905 (sunnah.com ) where Aisha narrates her father's attempted migration to "the land of Ethiopia" (Abyssinia) in considerable detail.
So the logic is:
- Aisha witnessed her father’s attempt to migrate to Abyssinia in the year 9 BH. Thus, at this time, she was old enough to form detailed memories.
- Aisha and Muhammad's marriage was consummated in 2 AH, as per Sahih al-Bukhari 3896 (sunnah.com ), which was 11 years later, contradicting their marriage being consummated when she was 9.
I want to fact-check this.
**Question**: Does Aisha witnessing her father's migration to Abyssinia imply she could not have consummated her marriage at age 9?

God is perfect therefore the sacrifice must be perfect as God is a perfect and righteous Judge and the sin must be paid for perfectly or the God in question is not a God because God has no blemish, stain or mark and to stand before him in judgment without absolute assurance of sin being perfectly dealt with would be very dangerous and the most serious eternal risk any person would and can ever take. For example : Our sin is not judged but the actual person who is a sinner, the sins committed are a by-product of being a sinner therefore we cannot seperate the sins from the sinner. The sin can be forgiven but the sinner remains a sinner and to stand before a perfect God would be like placing petrol covered rag in front of a blazing pure and perfect eternal clean and pure fire. Surely God perfect standard is to be kept, never would God who is perfect lower his perfect standard to accomodate mere sinners as this would be God becoming less than who he is - perfect. God must and cannot compromise in the slightest or all sinners by nature would behave in every evil way excusing all types of evils and transgressions based on faulty scales of judgment and justice then take a huge risk going to judgment before the most righteous and pure living God. This is a major problem for all men whatever religion, ideology or belief they adhere to. God must be perfectly satisfied based upon who he actually really is , a perfect righteous judge who is God.

Aoa, i got married 5 years ago. Talked to my husband for 8 months before getting married. When we were talking we both asked about past relations and he said he only had 2 thats it. But occasionaly i kept asking him as people said he was a play boy etc but i never believed anyone but still would ask him if it was true. Last year i found pictures of girls on his laptop(who were his friends) he used to use them to masturbate. We had a huge fight and he promised to tell me all the details. I know its ok in Islam to hide stuff from wife about your past. But we both agreed to tell each other everything to build trust and to make the relationship work. 4 months later he started opening up and told me all about his past.(skimmed information, which i dont mind at all) I respected it. Few days later i found a very innapropriate conversation of him with one of the girls. (Which gave me a picture of what kind of relations he had) I got upset and we fought again but still chose to give the relation another chance. He swore that he wont lie again. (as he said we both will be honest and we'll tell each other everything). We got really close in these few days but Last night he confessed again that he lied about 1 girl (which i can tell he really loved) he still chose to protect her and not be honest with me. Im so hurt and frustrated. I dont think i can trust him ever again. I know it seems as if im judging him but i dont have a problem with what he did i just wanted him to be honest with me. I only asked for one thing in this relationship and again and again he broke my trust. Im devastated. I dont know what to do. I told him he didnt have to tell me the details of what happened (he couldve said there was something that hallened with that girl, which i cant tell u out of respect) but he lied again. I doubt everything he says now. There might be so much he lied to me about. I dont trust him at all. I dont know what to do. Please help. Thank you.
