If a sincere muslim commits major shirk/major kufr is he labelled a mushrik/kafir
In footnotes of the translation of book "Bad al amali" it's mentioned that if a believer commits grevious sin he isn't a disbeliever. > We, the Ahl al-Sunnah say that regardless of the enormity of a person’s sin, he remains a believer; and Allāh may punish him or forgive him. In footnotes of the translation of book "Bad al amali" it's mentioned that if a believer commits grevious sin he isn't a disbeliever.
> We, the Ahl al-Sunnah say
that regardless of the enormity of a person’s sin, he remains a believer; and Allāh may
punish him or forgive him.
Additionally the ***SINCERE*** muslims among bani israil who worshipped calf weren't labelled mushrikun in quran.
Another relevant incident from sunni corpus is about a man who asked his sons to burn him and disperse his ashes in the sea so that Allah cannot catch him . Isn't this major kufr to deny the ressurection ability of Allah?
I am not sure the incident of prophet Adam eating from the tree can fit the above category.
Therefore the question are sincere muslims not labelled kaafir/mushrik if they commit major shirk/major kufr.
I am not taking into consideration the concept of ***Establishment of proof*** since I am asking this question for sincere muslims only. Sincere muslims promptly accept the mistake once told .
Help please

I don't wanna spend a school year where it is literally shirk!

Even if my intention is not to do these sins and i dont believe even a little bit in these acts, just doing it to advance in the game
For example, im pretty sure that killing in a game is not considered killing in real world, but knowledge of magic and consulting an oracle, i think there is more depth on the subject

Islam rather famously disapproves of polytheism, but I have noticed something of an overlap between Islamic and Hindu ideas, and want to know what classical Islamic scholars have concluded on the matter. Muslims and Hindus have lived together in India for centuries, and Mughal Emperors fluctuated between interfaith dialogue and intolerance. Mughal rulers even elevated Hindus to Dhimmi.
As far as I understand it, Islam emphasises strict monotheism (no God but Allah), in a way Judaism and Christianity don't. The Second Commandment doesn't deny the existence of other Gods, but rather insists that the God of Abraham must come first.
*To clarify; for Muslims Allah is indivisible and absolute (tawhid ), while for most Christians the trinity exists: God is father in heaven, son in Jesus, and Holy Ghost (comparable to the Holy Spirit in Judaism).*
*Furthermore, in the Old Testament God phrases things to imply there are other Gods or divine characters of equal status (Genesis 1:26 "Let us make mankind in our image, in our likeness"). At least, in this podcast world expert in the New Testament and early Christianity Bart Ehrman concludes as much (1h:20m... I'm not in a position to argue against someone who has studied the oldest copies of the Bible in ancient Greek and Hebrew).*
Hinduism is a very broad spectrum of belief and practice, which lacks anything considered an immutable source of absolute truth, like a Torah, Bible, or Quran. However, a common foundational Hindu belief is that the nature of reality is illusionary (Maya versus Atman ), and there is one absolute and ultimate creator God (Brahman). The other Gods are 'avatars', which is to say illusionary forms.
The most common interpretation is of a 'supreme divinity' in the Trimurti ; Brahma the creator, Vishnu the preserver, Shiva the destroyer. It's also worth clarifying, as per Britanica.com :
> "The trimurti collapses the three gods into a single form with three
> faces [...] Scholars consider the doctrine of the trimurti to be an
> attempt to reconcile different approaches to the divine with each
> other and with the philosophical doctrine of ultimate reality
> (brahman)"
Many Hindus believe in an 'ultimate reality/truth' in the form of Brahman (easily confused with Brahma ). This is said to be both the source of all existence and an unchanging absolute. Some Hindus are also practically monotheist, in the sense of worshiping Krishna as the source of all reality.
This made me wonder... given the coexistence of Muslims and Hindus in India, **there must be classical scholarship by Islamic theologians on the question of how Islam and Hinduism compare with specific regards to Allah and Brahman**.
What seems most curious to me, is that if Brahman is understood as a singular, absolute, and ultimate God/reality, then that is essentially Allah without (or pre?) Mohammad. This comparison must surely have been written about by some scholars, presumably most likely during the Mughal Empire.
To be clear, I am not interested in a simple definition, but an educated and technical one. I would like the cited opinions of experts who are familiar with both Islam and Hinduism.

Is animal communication (AC)/"animal whisperers" considered haram?
AC is the use of intuition to communicate with animals, and animal whisperers (AW) are people who act as a "middle-man" by relaying messages, feelings, and insights between humans and their animal companions, by addressing a wide range of concerns, such as behavioural issues, health problems, or simply deepening the bond between pet and owner.
I engaged one recently after a suggestion from a friend when my pet cat had a detrimental change in behaviour. This was when visits to the vet and other medical resources couldn't find anything wrong with it.
In the remote session with the AW, it was "conveyed" to the communicator "by my cat" that there was a health issue that had been bothering it that the vet had missed. From this, we went to a different vet for a fourth opinion, and true enough this vet managed to pick the issue up and just in time.
Of course, I was initially sceptical of the AW and thought it was through educated guess that she got it. I engaged her another time for another pet of ours to prove my sceptism right.
However, during this remote session, she described some things through the POV of our pet. The descriptions she gave was definitely not a guess as these were things or incidents that only those within our household would know or see.
The AC isn't Muslim and is non-denominal. She doesn't use chants or prayers during these sessions to "communicate". She simply gets into a state where she is "calm and of empty mind", and then gets her answers and questions mostly through thought and intuition. These are the same methods mentioned when I read up about AC and in a class I attended when I wanted to find out more. (All by different people.)
I was afraid that this was shirk or kufr, so I asked an asatizah about it. She didn't explain much except that if this was done for the welfare of our pet, and its well-being, then it's okay.
I tried to look up some more on this, but there's not much out there on AC in Islam. The little that I got was that communication with animals isn't an ability that any mere human has. Only the gifted, like Prophet Sulaiman (SAW) was blessed with this.

Why are we obliged to do a thing certain number of times in Islam?
For example. Washing face in wudhoo 3 times. Specific number of rakah in namaz. If doing a wazifa, then reciting a surah a particular number of times.
Is it related to numerology? Do these numbers mean anything? Do they represent something? Can "relative" unseen be found through these numbers? Explain in detail please.
And if I believe that numbers do mean something for example, 222 means you're on a right path, am I a kafir for believing that?
After using subliminals and frequencies, we start seeing these angel numbers more often, and they say that these numbers mean something. They say "angels" guide you through these numbers. Is it true or "shirk" or "haram" to believe it?
**Just like magic is real but is haram, the same way, as numerology is haram, but is it real?**
**Do numbers represent something?**
I watched an Islamic video that was explaining the concept of Illuminati, and the person said that the secret of universe are in the form of numbers, and those evil people know it and use these numbers to their advantage. Is numerology magic? Do numbers represent something? Someone says ilm jafar is allowed. People say angel numbers represent some things for example, 222 means the path you're on, is right. 111 means it's time to make a wish. 666 is the devil number. *You might have understood what I'm trying to say.*
Kingly enlighten in detail. Thank you.

As-salāmu ʿalaykum wa raḥmatullāhi wa barakātuh,
I address you with respect and sincerity, seeking guidance and clarity from an Islamic perspective.
My name is Dunia, and I am currently developing a professional project focused on luxury travel, exclusive tourism, events, and concierge services. My sincere intention is to serve my clients with excellence, to offer memorable experiences, and—if Allah wills—to dedicate my future earnings to support charitable and halal causes.
The purpose of this message is to kindly request your advice regarding the current name of my company: Ambrosio Experiences. I am aware that the name “Ambrosio” has Greek origins and is associated with meanings such as “immortality” or “food of the gods.” As a Muslim, I firmly believe that there is no deity but Allah (Subḥānahu wa Taʿālā), who is perfect and in no need of sustenance. I never intended to promote or associate any divine attributes with anything or anyone other than Allah.
When I chose the name, I was simply drawn to its sound. A colleague also liked it, so we selected it. It was only later that I learned of its original meaning. I interpreted it poetically as “unforgettable or lasting experiences,” not in any literal or theological sense.
However, I am now concerned—out of love and fear of Allah—that the name may be inappropriate, or even considered haram or bordering on shirk (may Allah protect us). My only wish is for this project to be halal, pure, and blessed—free of anything that may displease Allah or prevent barakah in my efforts.
For this reason, I respectfully seek your opinion:
• Is the current name Islamically permissible (halal) considering its origin and context?
• Or would it be better and more advisable to change the name to something entirely free of such associations, so that the project may be fully blessed and protected, in shāʾ Allāh?
I would be deeply grateful for any guidance, fatwa, or advice you can offer.
May Allah reward you abundantly for your knowledge, your time, and your sincere help to others in the Ummah.
Wa-jazākum Allāhu khayran wa barakallāhu fīkum.

As selamu Aleykum Brothers and Sisters,
I have hard waswasa when i Play Videogames which contains false religions or false gods as example the Greek ones. I have read a lot about it that playing such games is not kufr as long as you don't believe in this falsehood. I still have waswasa that I could have done kufr when I play. I generally have waswasa about kufr. I know that playing these games are sinful but If I could prefer I would like to live with a sin and not with kufr al Akbar like any of us. So what can I do against these thoughts I keep repeating la illaha il Allah when I see something shirk.
