Must Shahada be said in Arabic?

(Obviously, uttering it in Arabic is the proper and expected way. My question is whether there unambiguous evidence, if not proof, that any other language except Arabic will not do.)

The following are instances in Quran & sunni corpus where people attained Islam with a testimony which is different to the standard one.
1. The magicians of firaun said ***"We believe in the Rabb of Musa and harun"*** Quran 20:70
2. The people of ditch, ashabul aqdood said ***"We believe in the Rabb of this young man"***
[Muslim 3005]
3. Zaid bin amr bin nufayl said ***"O Allah bear witness I'm upon the religion of Ibrahim "***
[Bukhari 3827]
4. Waraqah bin nawfal affirmed that the angel which brought revelation to prophet is called namoos and ***he would support him if he was alive in future*** [bukhari 3392]
There is ijma that all above became muslims and waraqah became a companion by that statement of his as per some scholarly opinions.
https://islamqa.info/en/answers/182441/was-waraqah-ibn-nawfal-a-companion
Since the magicians of firaun didnt speak Arabic, it can be construed that they said the testimony with a identical wording in a different language.
So the question is can reverts whose language is not Arabic can say something similar to ***"I believe in deity of muhammad"*** or ***"I believe in deity of muslims"*** to validate to muslims that they follow Islam now?
PS: it will ease difficulty of non Arabic speaking reverts, to say the testimony, since Islam is easy [ bukhari 39]

Asalamulakum everyone,
I would really appreciate any advice I can get. For sake of privacy I will keep details to a minimum.
I was born into Islam but into a sect (if you will) that is not greatly liked. I have had my doubts about it the last few years but only started to research and act on these doubts for a year now. I am leaning more towards what I believe may be the true Islam, however my question is, do I have to retake my shahada or is it the belief in my heart that makes me a Muslim?
Thank you!

One of the brothers who runs a blog called fussilat supposedly admits that covenant 7:172 is a form of testimony of faith.
Can this be taken as a basic testimony to assume the new borns irrespective of their parents religion be considered muslims.
Hence the wider question, the testimony of faith is only affirmation of ***BELIEF IN HEART*** (Quran 49:14) and the person is a muslim with Allah and ultimately prove that chidren of muslim parents are also muslims without saying and understanding the wording of popular testimony?

I was born muslim ,and now i met 'wiswas' problem. I can't digest it which one was a whisper or my mind. And i always feels like whatever i have thought was made me left islam unknowingly!!!! Sometimes I'm sure I didn't doing anything wrong but i feel myself always carrying a lot of sin because i always have dirty thought about religion , god and then i feel guilty after i think it. And i feel like I'm not muslim anymore . So i keep taking shahada many many times because i don't want to left islam unknowingly!!! Always make me doubt when i was praying "will my prayer is valid or I'm already in state of kafir" Is it the best way for me to keep taking shahada many times? I can start my islam life after taken shahada or not? Even my feelings always the same everytime because i believe in allah and his prophet pbuh and whatever since first. Is there anyone have a better idea to deal with wiswas? Or at least way to make me calm . I'm really afraid if later i will die when i left islam unknowingly i don't want to go jahannam!!! Please help me and jazakallah. I'm soon crazy

Does one have to say the Shahada, even if one is born a Muslim?
If one is born a Muslim, does that person still has to say the Shahada, or he/she won't be considered a Muslim?

How is Takfir permissible in Islam?
>Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said, "Whoever prays like us and faces our Qibla and eats our slaughtered animals is a Muslim and is under Allah's and His Apostle's protection. >Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said, "Whoever prays like us and faces our Qibla and eats our slaughtered animals is a Muslim and is under Allah's and His Apostle's protection. So do not betray Allah by betraying those who are in His protection." (Bukhari 391)
> Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said, "If a man says to his brother, O Kafir (disbeliever)!' Then surely one of them is such (i.e., a Kafir). " (Bukhari 6103)
> The Prophet (ﷺ) said (to us), " List the names of those people who have **announced that they are Muslims**." So, we listed one thousand and five hundred men. Then we wondered, "Should we be afraid (of infidels) although we are one thousand and five hundred in number?" No doubt, we witnessed ourselves being afflicted with such bad trials that one would have to offer the prayer alone in fear.
Narrated Al-A`mash:
"We (listed the Muslims and) found them five hundred." And Abu Muawiya said, "Between six hundred to seven hundred." (Bukhari 3060)
These Ahadith clarify that anyone who claims to be a Muslim and offers Salah, faces the Qibla, and eats Halal food is a Muslim, and one who says such a person to be a disbeliever becomes one himself. So then how is it permissible to label Ahmadis (and other sects of Muslims) as disbelievers?

He believes in one God, however has some doubts about the Prophet Muhammad being a prophet, although he is willing to accept that despite having these doubts. He believes that it is impossible for someone to be 100% sure about anything, but still believes more than he doubts. Would their nikkah be valid?

I would say I am about 60% sure that he is. Should I hold off on taking my shahada? I also don't know how strictly I would adhere to the rulings until I am completely convinced but I feel as if I will never know for certain, as I have a nature to doubt.

In Islam, if one’s final words are the Shahada, they will be admitted into paradise. But, would sinning and not repenting interfere with that?
Example:
Say if someone watched pornography before sleeping and they didn’t repent, but before going to sleep they recited the Shahada in case they passed away. Would this ruin their chance of entering Jannah? Or would the Shahada ultimately cancel off their sin and they’ll still be able to enter Jannah?

I was singing a song with my little sister but we were just playing around and laughing and one of the lyrics are “All I want for christmas.” It is not a Christmas carol, but that is one of the lyrics. We were laughing and I sang it and right after I realized what I had said I stopped singing and said Astaghfurillah and said the Shahada. Did I commit shirk and am I a kufr?
Edit: I went on AboutIslam.com and they have a live chat where you can ask questions and get answers quickly. I asked this and the person I was talking to said that I am fine because deeds in Islam are judged by intention and because my intention was not bad I have no sin. But to be safe I will ask for forgiveness from Allah swt for the error.

If there was a Muslim who prays their obligatory prayers rarely (because they are lazy), reads Quran most of the time, gives charity always, loves Allah SO MUCH that their heart hurts in a good way, thanks Allah all the time, fasts in Ramadan (becomes a good Muslim in this month+prays), but at the same time also watches movies/tv, sometimes hears music (but doesn't take it seriously), and go out with people who have a bad influence (but always regrets it).
If one day this person is in their deathbed and they say 'la ilaha illa Allah' and then dies, what is their fate?
I know that none of us can judge or know anyone's fate, but all i'm asking is that is there anything from the Quran or hadith or anything that talks about this kind of people?

We Muslims say “La Ilaha Ilalah” which translates to “There is no God but Allah”.
However, in Arabic, Allah means God. Some also say, “There is no God but God”. Would it be better to say “There is no God But Allah” to signify the name Allah applying to the name of God? Because saying the latter doesn’t really make much sense. If the former, that doesn’t make that much sense either because it ultimately translates to “There is no God but God.”
Does the word Allah mean God but does it also mean the name of God? Which is why it’s said: “There is no God but Allah.”
Perhaps the Arabic phrase would get a better context?
