I am a recent revert as of June 2024. I am an artist and wish to go into fashion design to bring modest clothing options to my area. The course I plan to take will want to have me drawing rough human figures, with loose and artistic methods of showing different fabrics and how they sit. Is there a way to do this without it being haram? Thank you for taking the time to answer.

I am a Graphics Designer. I want to design t-shirt and then upload it to some online marketplace, where I can sell it. So, the problem is, I want to use Anime (Japanese Animation based on manga/comics) related stuff like logo, magical-sign (indeed it's fake, just for fantasy), sign, quotes. I know, we can't use the picture, that's are prohibited. But, I am not using images tho. I want to use Anime kind of reference and sell it to those anime fans. Anime is haram some point. It depends on what type of anime you're watching. There is good anime and bad anime too. I am not gonna drag those stuff. I just want to use some particular things that fans would like to buy. Simply put: Its like I want to use the Marvel Avenger movie logo and quotes on t-shirts. And sell it to fans. So, would it be a promotion of anime/movies, if I use those mentionable things? it would be haram? Last thing I want to ask. Anime is non-living, non-existing characters. I heard that, if we create drawings of living creatures, then it would be haram. But anime is non-existing. So, it would be permissible to use them on T-shirts. Even it would be troublesome while praying with those shirts. By the way, these shirts are not for me, I just want to sell them to a particular country like the USA. Please, let me know the answer. This kind of thing bothers me too much. I am getting confused between haram and halal.

Can I wear artificial jewellery like a steel ring or a steel chain. I know that wearing gold or real jewellery is haram for men. But I've seen thousands of wearing steel jewellery. The question is can I also wear artificial chains and rings or it is haram?

I started a western clothing brand but I am confused about which women's clothes can I sell? Like I can sell straight or flared jeans as they don't expose the awrah. What else can I make?

My family is very religious, and in my childhood they didn't let me opt for modelling and fashion design as a career! I had good grades and was forced to get into "good noble profession" for ladies. The problem is I am extremely depressed and not happy at all. My personality is doomed but I can't find a way. Is fashion design, modelling, acting, painting allowed in Islam?

For my fashion course I must draw animate beings such as the human figure to design garments and make my collections etc. However, I know that I am not allowed to draw them so would I be able to draw like the body and stuff but not the face? I have recently changed the way I draw like rather than drawing the figure for my designs I just outline the parts I need to like the hands and head and hair, but don't draw the facial features and just design my garments. Does Islam say that this is allowed? Because I will be getting a career in fashion design so as a designer I will be expected to design and draw garments before I actually make them.
