About the meaning of Ya sin

A Christian claims that there is a relation between the mesopotamian moon god sin and islam He claims that the surah ya-sin is mysterious in the nature of its name , and this might be it's interpretation.(I want to know wether god sin and ya-seen are written the same way in arabic or pronounced the same way ) He also says that the symbol of this moon god was the crescent moon which is exactly what you see on top of nearly every mosque Also just put of curiosity (how is the name of this god sin even pronounced -is it seen or sin, would love a clarification)
