How Do I Deal with People Who Believe Our Religion is Homophobic?

Salam brothers and sisters I hope you're doing well. I've seen posts from people who are part of the LGBTQ+ community talking about how Islam is a homophobic religion and so is the Quran as they take our beliefs as offense because one of them said "your religion is calling me sinner" and they complain that Muslims and Christians are "homophobic" as we only respect lgbtq+ but don't support them. They think that by not supporting them we're saying they "don't deserve basic human rights" I've heard my parents' advice to just stay quiet but what I want is to stand up for myself and others who are being remotely harassed and being called homophobic because I'm seeing theophobia occurring to Muslims, Christians or anyone with religious faith more than any actual homophobia.
So I wanted to ask how can I make others aware that I'm not trying to be hateful or homophobic while explaining that our religion is not meant to offend them? Because if I explain, they might likely say "you're using religion to backup your statement" and I don't want to just simply stay silent. I want to actually stand up and explain to them but without sounding mean or dismissive. I don't know what to say. I also feel that they're victimizing themselves because they believe some of us aren't "admitting" to being homophobic when we're not and using our religion as an "excuse" to "tolerate" them. While they demand respect, they're also disrespecting religious people by saying we're "allowed" to hate religion but we "can't" hate someone's sexuality and how being queer is a "choice" and religion "isn't a choice" I know that by asking questions about someone's religion is not at all criticising, but calling someone's religion "homophobic" isn't right.

I indulged in bisexualism in my younger years and have had relationships with both genders. I eventually met my husband, who alhamdulillah has guided me back to the Deen and our marriage has passed the ten year mark.
Although there have been times where I felt tempted to fall back into my past life, ahamdulillah, I didn't succumb. I try not to expose myself to situations or things that can lead to this temptation, but after so long, the urge has come back again (for same gender intimacy).
I resorted to purchasing a sex toy that is anatomically female, in the hopes that it can prevent me from acting on this desire for real and actually seeking out female intimacy.
Is the use of that earlier mentioned toy (by me during marital intercourse to satisfy myself) considered haram?
Even if the toy isn't realistic looking and the intention is prevention?

That person was heavily misguided and badly influenced by a circle of friends with whom they stopped talking to and hanging out with it. That person knows that it is haram and that it is a major sin but they used to say that it is halal. Does Allah forgive that?

I have read some of the answers to this topic on this platform, but none mentioned its relevance to the science and rulings of the Quran, Hadith, and Sharia.
For example, there are multiple opinions on intersex people about which we know they are born that way, and they have some conditions to be followed, but those are based on the assumption that sexuality is only associated with appearance and genitals. We need separate rulings or guidance on this issue, some have concluded that it is okay to be homosexual until and unless you are not involved in it. But it doesn't make sense, it is not comparable to any disease, like someone is born without a leg, and it's a test for him and other people how they treat him, etc.
It is similar to the intersex condition. I feel there is some gap in the explanation.
I know it is an emerging field of science but there are many conclusions relating Homosexuality to the genetic sequence of humans. I know there is a drawback in that study that it is being conducted on adults and not embryos to understand whether it is purely inherited or culturally influenced, but Genetic sequence can't be altered by any environmental factors except Carcinogens, etc. Most of them are not exposed and mutations from those are random as compared to the results of the relation of homosexuality with genetics and inheritance.
I would appreciate logical answers that I can understand and explain to my colleagues as I am a student working in STEM.

Can anybody give me advice? Am I a disbeliever for doing this?

I am a Muslim, I pray and fast But I can't get this haram relationship out of my mind, I feel sexually oriented again and again. For many reasons I can't get out of wanting to bring myself to the path of Islam that I love someone who is of my gender. I feel attracted to him. I want to solve this. And it is better to say something about how I will return to the path of Islam.

Is it permissible to like gay people? To be friends with them? To perhaps think they are . . . cute?

I am really ashamed asking this, but as a girl growing up boy-girl relationships have always been a no-no. I don't even talk much to guys, unless necessary. Upon encountering romance - TV, movies, books, - I always rolled my eyes because I hated romance, seemed too stupid, dumb to me.
Then I read a book where two guys feel you know in love and I thought it was the first time I did not want to continue to see what happened - I though the mm couple was cute. Now I always think they are cute? I am a girl so naturally I dislike lesbians and stuff, but ....ugh.
I wish I could be disgusted by them but I am addicted, not wholly, to gay books [Only YA stuff, not any uter haram erotic stuff, ew] . I've vowed never again to seek out a gay book but if I see two gay guys, I still think Awww. Please help!

Is it permitted for a woman to kiss another woman on the cheek?
I saw a Muslim woman kiss a non-muslim woman on the cheek as a sign of affection. I am not sure if this was a sign of attraction or just to show thanks. Is this permitted in Islam?

Is it lawful for Muslims to prohibit LGBT people from getting an education?

Our college made a policy recently which can be summed up like this: you have to sign a paper that says that you will be dropped out without questions if you are not free from LGBT. This is total restriction over LGBT, not LGBT sexual acts on campus or something like that. If found out (before or after graduation) the college administration will lawfully kick you out or revoke you. It shocked LGBT communities in my country because there was no such policy required before.
The majority of my friends are under the assumption that it is a Muslim mission to prevent LGBT spreading given the opportunities (even by prohibiting their education). I don't know either. I don't even know if this question will be black and white amongst Muslims. Being an atheist, I solemnly believe that being LGBT should not be a reason for someone not getting an education.
Our state's constitution embeds the right of education to people, not be seen for what they are. But it gets tricky when our college can have a policy on their own regarding this case.
Is it lawful (in Islamic practices) for Muslims to prohibit LGBT people from getting an education? Does Islam has specific laws about this? If it is not, are Muslims required to do this?

Is homosexuality or bisexuality allowed for women?
When the Quran forbids homosexuality, it only addresses men, not women. Speaking of which, when the Quran permits polygamy to men, it only addresses men. Now, both of the verses only address men yet polygamy is forbidden to women but homosexuality/bisexuality is not permitted to women. Why is that?
