I have heard that it is better for men and women to observe some items or rulings (Ahkam) in front of the children who are at the age of Tamiz (التمییز). I'm 15 years old (about to be 16 in a month) and I want to make money online as I don't have time for an actual job during the school year. The problem is websites always want workers at least 18 years old. Is it haram to fake my age to be able to work online? If I do fake my age will the money earned not be halal? The work I intend to do online is simply transcribing audio, adding captions to videos, taking part in surveys and simple freelance work. Anyways thank you to anybody who replies.

Salam. Is it true that Ibn Saad in Tabakat wrote that Aisha was 9 years old at the time of the engagement, and 12 years old at the time of consummation? Similar things are written about Ibn Hillikan.

From Hadiths and other Islamic sources, I have gathered that Muhammed was given Prophethood at the age of 40. Also in Surah Ahqaf, Verse 15 (compare/see Sahih International translation) Allah says > "We have commanded people to honour their parents. If we take the usual view that she married at 6 and then later consummated at 9 after her menses and the Prophet (saw) was in his early 50s we can challenge the non Muslim critic by saying why do we not have a single report from the enemies questioning her "young" age and his "older" age? And do you think her parents would let her marry so young if in their culture it was not normal? The scholars who say she was older and in her late teens use the fact that the reason we have no reports from his enemies is simply because she was never married so young and the Hadith reports missed a 1 so it was 16 and 19.... Now when you tell the critics all this they still do not agree and say if Muhammad (saws) is the perfect man for all times then why do some Muslims give their daughters away for marriage at similar ages as 9 (child brides) even today? How do we answer this? Who said these Muslims are right? Even if some scholars today allow it not all scholars are fallible. Even if it is done today it could be in regions of the world which aren't modern by our standards and live in the desert and the children don't go through school college university job routine... As by Islam can a Divorced older woman can marry a man whose age is equal or lesser than his granddaughter or grandson

After my arranged marriage my wife revealed to me that she has been depressed and an anxiety patient all her life. Trying to dig through the reason she revealed to me that she committed sexual acts secretly from a very young age with her cousin who was also of her age. This happened with her consent as she claims she was attracted to her cousin too. According to her they repeated the sexual acts many a times between the age 6 to 11. This eventually stopped as she somehow didn't feel right about it. She says that it stopped many months before she first experienced her menstruation but she claims that her puberty had started because her breasts had begun to appear in small shape. The worst of the acts was when her cousin rubbed his private part against hers but they weren't aware of the vaginal opening so complete penetration never happened. It was limited to the clitoral section. Is this a case of zina because both the people involved were too young. How can she correct the situation for her to experience a closure? Is hadd applicable on her? She has repented all her life after she gained maturity to understand what they had done was a major sin.

My little brother is diabetic and gets benefit money from the government every year that my parents have held for him until he is 18. This money is being saved with the intention it may go towards improving his quality of life should something in future help with his diabetes. We need to know if we should be paying Zakat on this money every year? He is 14 years old and the money is held on his own bank account that my parents transfer to it.

There is a Sahih Hadith which claims after 60 years "Allah will not accept the excuse of any person" > Sahih al-Bukhari 6419 ; Volume 8, Book 76, Number 428: Narrated Abu Huraira: > > The Prophet said, "**Allah will not accept the excuse of any person** whose instant of death is delayed till he is **sixty years of age**." Does this mean any dua forgiveness will not be accepted after 60 years?
