Can I sell my art with living beings on it which I made in a time I didn't know it wasn't halal?
In the past, I used to draw a lot of Anime characters and living beings, but now, Alhamdulillah, I have stopped that because I know that it is not permissible. In the past, I used to draw a lot of Anime characters and living beings, but now, Alhamdulillah, I have stopped that because I know that it is not permissible. Can I sell my art with living beings on it, since its not something I would like to throw away? If I do so, would I make a sin for providing others with such pictures to hang in their rooms, where no angels come? If it is a sin to sell something like that, Ii would definitely burn them. I just need an evidence hadith or Quran verse where it says that.

I read the hadith Jami` at-Tirmidhi 3227 : > Narrated Abu Dharr: "I entered the Masjid when the sun had set, and > the Prophet (ﷺ) was sitting. He said: 'O Abu Dharr! Do you know where > this goes?' I said: 'Allah and His Messenger know better.' He said: > 'Indeed it goes to seek permission to prostrate, so it is permitted. > And it is as if it has been said to it: "Rise from its setting place.' > Then he recited: 'That is its fixed course.'" He said: "That is the > recitation of 'Abdullah bin Mas'ud." Is there any known explanation of this hadith given we think we know that when the sun is setting in one place, it is rising in another (earth goes round the sun).

Please provide the source too for your answer.

For example, the Hagia Sophia was the main Cathedral of the Greek Orthodox Church for 1000 years before the Ottomans conquered Constantinople and converted it into a Mosque. I'm wondering if it's possible for any old building to be converted into a mosque? Could my garage or bedroom or a school hall be converted into a mosque?

The story of Dhul Qarnayn in Sura Kahf is very similar to the Syriac Alexandar legend , including key narratives like travelling to the setting and rising places of sun and sealing of the Gog and Magog using a barrier which is prophesized to break in the future. Muslim scholars mostly seem to agree that Alexandar couldn't be Dhul Qarnayn since historically Alexandar was a polytheist while Dhul Qarnayn is a firm believer. The bigger problem is historians unanimously agree that this legend is just that, a legend, and doesn't have any historical basis. Moreover, the prominent hypothesis is that this story was created as propaganda and the prophecies are ex-eventu. Why would Quran's narration shares so much similarity with a legend that has very questionable origins? And does the Quran's narration meant to be taken as literal history or is it possible to interpret it as an allegorical story? **References** There has been many papers written by secular academics on this topic. Some notable ones - - Kevin van Bladel, “The Alexander Legend in the Qur’an 18:83-102,” in The Qur'an in Its Historical Context (2008), edited by Gabriel Said Reynolds - Tommaso Tesei, The Syriac Legend of Alexander's Gate: Apocalypticism at the Crossroads of Byzantium and Iran (2023) - Stephen Shoemaker, The Apocalypse of Empire, University of Pennsylvania Press 2018, pp. 79-86. - Marianna Klar, "Qur'anic Exempla and Late Antique Narratives," in Oxford Handbook of Quranic Studies, Oxford University Press, 2020.

Assalam alikoum My question is related to a job I was working on through the internet before, where I was earning money thats in crypto payment method, so basically I was in the niche of NFTs, I dont really know if you know what NFTs mean but if you search it, you will find some information about it. I was working for marketing agencies where they provide marketing services for NFT projects, and I would bring clients to these agencies to earn a commission. Now, these NFT projects, some have artworks, some have 3D designs, etc, and when I researched, I saw that if NFTs have artworks or designs of humans, then they are haram. My question is: Is the money I earned through getting clients halal or haram even though I wasn't directly selling artworks or spirits or anything, and can I still do this kind of job in the future? I'm sorry for the long question, but I need a detailed answer on this. And jazakum allah khayran

Today, I discovered a talisman (amulet or taveez) in my house that had my name written on it. Inside, there were four small pieces of paper with what seemed to be the names of devils or supernatural entities, along with some numbers. I wasn’t sure what to do, so I disposed of it by throwing it into a canal. However, I still have a picture of it and am unsure if sharing the picture online could bring any harm to me. I would like to understand: 1. What does our Deen (Islam) say about such objects? 2. How should I properly dispose of such items in a way that aligns with Islamic teachings? 3. Are there any specific duas (supplications) or actions I should take to protect myself from any potential harm or evil associated with this? I appreciate any guidance on how to handle such situations in accordance with Islamic principles.

I know from other questions on this site that Muslim men can marry Jewish or Christian women , that Muslim women can't marry non-Muslims , and why there's a difference in marriage law for Muslim men and women . I've also learned a good deal about temporary marriages , but this question is not about that. My question is, can Muslim men marry women who are not Ahl-al-Kitab? That is, can a Muslim man marry a woman who is either atheist, deist, polytheist, pantheist, Zoroastrian, or anything else I haven't thought of? Since Hanafi is the school of Fiqh with the greatest number of adherents, I'd specifically like an answer from that perspective. But if you could give a quick note about how widely-accepted your answer is from the perspective of the other schools, that would bring your answer from good to great.
