Today, I discovered a talisman (amulet or taveez) in my house that had my name written on it. Inside, there were four small pieces of paper with what seemed to be the names of devils or supernatural entities, along with some numbers. I wasn’t sure what to do, so I disposed of it by throwing it into a canal. However, I still have a picture of it and am unsure if sharing the picture online could bring any harm to me. I would like to understand: 1. What does our Deen (Islam) say about such objects? 2. How should I properly dispose of such items in a way that aligns with Islamic teachings? 3. Are there any specific duas (supplications) or actions I should take to protect myself from any potential harm or evil associated with this? Me my 3 brothers and my mom recently shifted to a new house. Before we did we found out more about shirk and threw all taweez and oils and stuff away. In my family. Black magic is a common topic the thing is that although we dont own any taweez and stuff it was found folded in a open wide area (inside infront of my moms door) in my moms room. Could someone please translate this taweez? My mother randomly found it in her washer recently. It doesn’t belong to any of my siblings. To clarify, I don’t believe in a necklace’s ability to protect me from evil, but my mom gave me the taweez necklace that was made for me as a baby. She said I was very sick and cried a lot, so in a moment of desperation, this was made for me. Would it be wrong for me to wear it, given I don’t believe in any ability for it to protect me? And would I be able to take it with me in the bathroom given it doesn’t have any visible Quranic ayaahs on it (it’s a tiny leather pouch on a string and looks pretty cool)?

Some people say that Tawees are Haram. But I have also heard the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) gave a Hasan and Husain Taweez to protect them. Taweez is a piece of paper with Quranic verses and Duas people keep them for protection. Sometimes people recite verses of the Quran and then blow around themselves and others for protection.

Is wearing taweez/charm/amulet haram? What does the Holy Quran or Hadith has to say about it? What does the scholars say about it? --- To elaborate, I got sick and was about to die and went to doctors. Then I took alopathic and homeopathic medicine but none helped. My brother suggested me to go to a Molvi who asked me to sleep flat and recited some verses of the Quran and I who was at no hope felt that I was back in life at that very moment. Later on he gave me a amulet/taweez and asked me to wear it because according to him I was afflicted with black magic and ever since then I have been wearing taweez and I haven't felt anything bad yet. Out of curiosity I have opened it and found 3 pieces of paper with drawing and many Arabic sentences. A beautiful smell was emitting from it. I don't know Arabic. I have been married from almost 2 years. My husband and I were having a good time but from previous few months my husband's behavior has changed. He says he does not love me and he is no more attracted towards me. There is no other woman in his life, he thinks someone did taweez on him to destroy our relationship.
