How to deal with an amulet containing devil names?

Today, I discovered a talisman (amulet or taveez) in my house that had my name written on it. Inside, there were four small pieces of paper with what seemed to be the names of devils or supernatural entities, along with some numbers. I wasn’t sure what to do, so I disposed of it by throwing it into a canal. However, I still have a picture of it and am unsure if sharing the picture online could bring any harm to me. I would like to understand: 1. What does our Deen (Islam) say about such objects? 2. How should I properly dispose of such items in a way that aligns with Islamic teachings? 3. Are there any specific duas (supplications) or actions I should take to protect myself from any potential harm or evil associated with this? I appreciate any guidance on how to handle such situations in accordance with Islamic principles.
