I live in a foster family of non-muslims/ non-mahrams and they eat haram and drink haram and I am a Muslim and they let us eat halal. But there are my two sisters and brother there too. My question is if I sit with them and eat halal but they are eating haram and drinking haram (I am not eating haram), am I allowed to sit with them, is it haram or halal? I think that I have heard a hadith about sitting with those who wine is being served to. And if it is the case that I am not allowed to sit with them when they do that, does it apply to all haram meat (is there a hadith about sitting with those who are 'eating' haram)? And what should I do if they do not allow me to follow the rulings of Islam? Could you please quote some hadith with the exact source as well?

Okay, so I was about to learn a new computer tool which might be one of the major things I would be working on in my future career course. The name of the tool is _**"PIG"**_. [What is Pig?](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pig_(programming_tool)) As I was just preparing to start up this morning a thought stormed my mind raising the question if I am pushing any Islamic boundaries by taking up this tool named _**"PIG"**_. Am I in the wrong somehow? Anybody who can clarify regarding this point! I am aware of the pig eatery rules in Islam but want to know regarding this particular situation.

I was already late to my class so I couldn't restart my prayer again, is my prayer valid? If not, can I redo it?

Is animal communication (AC)/"animal whisperers" considered haram? AC is the use of intuition to communicate with animals, and animal whisperers (AW) are people who act as a "middle-man" by relaying messages, feelings, and insights between humans and their animal companions, by addressing a wide range of concerns, such as behavioural issues, health problems, or simply deepening the bond between pet and owner. I engaged one recently after a suggestion from a friend when my pet cat had a detrimental change in behaviour. This was when visits to the vet and other medical resources couldn't find anything wrong with it. In the remote session with the AW, it was "conveyed" to the communicator "by my cat" that there was a health issue that had been bothering it that the vet had missed. From this, we went to a different vet for a fourth opinion, and true enough this vet managed to pick the issue up and just in time. Of course, I was initially sceptical of the AW and thought it was through educated guess that she got it. I engaged her another time for another pet of ours to prove my sceptism right. However, during this remote session, she described some things through the POV of our pet. The descriptions she gave was definitely not a guess as these were things or incidents that only those within our household would know or see. The AC isn't Muslim and is non-denominal. She doesn't use chants or prayers during these sessions to "communicate". She simply gets into a state where she is "calm and of empty mind", and then gets her answers and questions mostly through thought and intuition. These are the same methods mentioned when I read up about AC and in a class I attended when I wanted to find out more. (All by different people.) I was afraid that this was shirk or kufr, so I asked an asatizah about it. She didn't explain much except that if this was done for the welfare of our pet, and its well-being, then it's okay. I tried to look up some more on this, but there's not much out there on AC in Islam. The little that I got was that communication with animals isn't an ability that any mere human has. Only the gifted, like Prophet Sulaiman (SAW) was blessed with this.

I were commenting against someone who was talking about the marriage of the prophet pbuh and Aisha peace be upon her too. The person I was commenting against said something like why would God let the perfect model for Earth marry a child when we know in today’s society that it could cause numerous health problems if a man and a young woman were to engage in sexual relationships and that it would leave people committing illegal acts in today’s society. God would’ve known that marrying people significantly younger or older can be bad so why would god set out such a bad example for the humans even though the prophet was supposed to be the perfect example. Please include Hadith and Quranic verses if possible.

It seems to be commonly accepted in Islam that the prophet Jesus was "without sin," in contrast to the rest of humanity — even the other prophets — arguably(?) even Muhammad himself. (Although see https://islam.stackexchange.com/questions/215/was-the-prophet-sinless and, again, note that most of my reading so far has been from Christian-evangelical sources who are motivated to elevate Jesus above Muhammad.) I can find plenty of references to this doctrine of "sinlessness of Jesus" via Google, but all the top hits are blatantly from a Christian-evangelical point of view (e.g. [Edward Sell's _Faith of Islam_](https://books.google.com/books?id=K7jjoomZVgEC&pg=PA248) ; e.g. resources from "The Spirit of Islam" and "CIRA International"). ([English Wikipedia](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jesus_in_Islam) does not go very deep on this subject.) I'd like to find out — from relatively authoritative, English-language, yet non-Christian, sources — what historical Islam has to say on the sinlessness of Jesus; e.g. commentaries on [the hadith excerpted below](https://sunnah.com/urn/43910) , whether different sects/denominations disagree on this question, etc. In particular I wonder whether any division of Islam has ever claimed that Jesus was _not_ sinless. > Then the people will say, 'Don't you see to what state you have reached? Won't you look for someone who can intercede for you with your Lord?' > > Some people will say to some others, 'Go to Adam.' So they will go to Adam and say to him. 'You are the father of mankind; Allah created you with His Own Hand, and breathed into you of His Spirit (meaning the spirit which he created for you); and ordered the angels to prostrate before you; so (please) intercede for us with your Lord. Don't you see in what state we are? Don't you see what condition we have reached?' Adam will say, 'Today my Lord has become angry as He has never become before, nor will ever become thereafter. **He forbade me (to eat of the fruit of) the tree, but I disobeyed Him.** Myself! Myself! Myself! (I am preoccupied with my own problems.) Go to someone else; go to Noah.' > > So they will go to Noah and say (to him), 'O Noah! You are the first (of Allah's Messengers) to the people of the earth, and Allah has named you a thankful slave; please intercede for us with your Lord. Don't you see in what state we are?' He will say, 'Today my Lord has become angry as He has never become nor will ever become thereafter. **I had (in the world) the right to make one definitely accepted invocation, and I made it against my nation.** Myself! Myself! Myself! Go to someone else; go to Abraham.' > > They will go to Abraham and say, 'O Abraham! You are Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) and His Khalil from among the people of the earth; so please intercede for us with your Lord. Don't you see in what state we are?' He will say to them, 'My Lord has today become angry as He has never become before, nor will ever become thereafter. **I had told three lies** (Abu Haiyan (the sub-narrator) mentioned them in the Hadith) Myself! Myself! Myself! Go to someone else; go to Moses.' > > The people will then go to Moses and say, 'O Moses! You art Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) and Allah gave you superiority above the others with this message and with His direct Talk to you; (please) intercede for us with your Lord Don't you see in what state we are?' Moses will say, 'My Lord has today become angry as He has never become before, nor will become thereafter. **I killed a person whom I had not been ordered to kill.** Myself! Myself! Myself! Go to someone else; go to Jesus.' > > So they will go to Jesus and say, 'O Jesus! You are Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) and His Word which He sent to Mary, and a superior soul created by Him, and you talked to the people while still young in the cradle. Please intercede for us with your Lord. Don't you see in what state we are?' Jesus will say. 'My Lord has today become angry as He has never become before nor will ever become thereafter. **Jesus will not mention any sin,** but will say, 'Myself! Myself! Myself! Go to someone else; go to Muhammad.' > > So they will come to me and say, 'O Muhammad ! You are Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) and the last of the prophets, and **Allah forgave your early and late sins.** (Please) intercede for us with your Lord. Don't you see in what state we are?"

Bukhari 2645a says that after 42 nights bones and flesh are created. In 23:14, the Quran says the blood clot and lump of flesh stage are before the bones stage. This would mean that the blood clot and lump of flesh stage are before 42 days. Bukhari 3332 says: “Every one of you is collected in the womb of his mother for the first forty days, and then he becomes a clot for another forty days, and then a piece of flesh for another forty days.” The translation makes it seem like the piece of flesh stage is between 80 and 120 days, seemingly contradicting the previous conclusion. However, the translation is apparently not entirely literal, as it says ‘40 days’ three times while “أَرْبَعِينَ يَوْمًا،” only appears in the hadith once. Instead, there are the words ‘مِثْلَ ذَلِكَ’. On pages 525-526 in a Quran Dictionary (https://archive.org/details/dictionary-2018/page/526/mode/1up?q=Same&view=theater) one of the meanings of مِثْلَ is “the same as”. ذَلِكَ means “that”. Therefore it would mean “the same as that [period]”. This alternative translation would read: “Every one of you is collected in the womb of his mother for the first forty days, and then he becomes a clot in the same as that [period], and then a piece of flesh in the same as that [period]” As I am not proficient in Arabic, I cannot be certain that this is a valid translation. Is this a valid translation or is there a different explanation for this problem?

From what I understand of the sources of slavery, a non-Muslim darbi living in a non-Muslim land can be legally enslaved by Muslims, even if there is no actual fighting happening. Does this mean that it would have been Islamically permissible to go into a non-Muslim land and simply round up the non-Muslim people living there and sell them as slaves like the Americans did to the Africans? This doesn't seem right but I also can't find evidence against it?

Should a brain dead woman be taken off life support if she’s pregnant (9 weeks)
This has happened recently in America to a woman called Adriana Smith. She died when she was 9 weeks pregnant and was kept on life support to allow the baby to develop, against the families wishes. This has become a huge controversy and I wanted the Islamic point of view of this.
