Mary , sister of aaron daughter of imran
An argument put forward by Christians: The quran says that Mary Is the daughter of imran and sister of aaron. [Quran 19:28][1] > O sister of Aaron, your father was not a man of evil, nor was your mother unchaste." [Quran 3:35][2] >[Mention, O Muhammad], when the wife of 'Imran said, "My Lord, indeed...
An argument put forward by Christians:
The quran says that Mary Is the daughter of imran and sister of aaron.
Quran 19:28
> O sister of Aaron, your father was not a man of evil, nor was your mother unchaste."
Quran 3:35
>[Mention, O Muhammad], when the wife of 'Imran said, "My Lord, indeed I have pledged to You what is in my womb, consecrated [for Your service], so accept this from me. Indeed, You are the Hearing, the Knowing."
As we know from history, Miriam the sister of Moses is the sister of aaron as well as daughter of amram. Now they use this to claim that the quran mistook Miriam as the mother of isa and daughter of Joachim
My questions are:
1) is imran universally identified as amram. Can we make a case for imran being Joachim
2) if so how do we reconcile the similarities between Miriam and Mary
3) if we use the hadith sahih muslim 2135 to reconcile the sister of haroon part , can anybody explain wether the hadith is trying to say if Mary (mother of isa (as)) had a brother named haroon(any historical verification?) or that Mary was referred to with the name of haroon.
But we would still have to reconcile her as the daughter of amram.
Please don't close this post claiming that it was previously answered because I have read each question and it does not answer each question I've asked.

sins before puberty
So say someone committed a sin before puberty, and now that they are older my mind continues to remind me of it and it just bothers me so much , does this mean that this person wasn’t forgiven or doesn’t mean something else?

I was reading The du‘aa’ (supplication) that the Sahaabah used to recite in Qunut al-Witr in the second half of Ramadan during the caliphate of ‘Umar ibn al-Khattaab . It says:
> Then he would send blessings upon the Prophet (blessings and peace of
> Allah be upon him), and offer supplication for the Muslims, asking for

What words can I use to "send blessings upon the Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him), and offer supplication for the Muslims". Please give me some dua from sahih / hasan hadith which I would place in the middle of:
Allahumma qaatil al-kafarata alladheena yasuddoona ‘an sabeelika wa yukadhdhiboona rusulaka wa laa yu’minoona bi wa‘dika wa khaalif bayna kalimatihim wa alqi fi quloobihim ar-ru‘ba wa alqi ‘alayhim rijzaka wa ‘adhaabaka, ilaah al-haqq
and

Assalam-o-Alaikum,
I have been offered a job at a company that develops and operates a dating app. My job would include working directly on the app. The app is a personality-based people matching service, that can connect people based on their personality types for purpose of friendship and dating. As it is personality-based dating, they blur user pictures, so 'Pardah' doesn't look like an issue in the app.
Now, as dating usually leads to Haram, am I allowed to work in this job? Also, as the management is non-muslim, I will have no control making sure if people use the app for only Halal purposes, what to do in this scenario?
This is a really great opportunity for my career, which would give me a great boost financially. However, at the same time, I am afraid to not get into this if this is Haram. Please help me with what should be done according to Islamic rulings.
Thank you, brother.

I apologize for not providing a direct for this narration. I originally came across this passage that was referenced in the book above. They attributed the quote to Ibn Abdun, and not only that, quoted him providing a hadith that propagates his argument.
The focus of this ticket is as follows:
1. What is the reliability of this attribution to Ibn Abdun?
2. How well reflected is this position within the mainstream/ classical understanding Islamic jurisprudence; the opinions of the fuquha within the 4 madhabs?
3. Most importantly, what is the source and authenticity of this supposed hadith Ibn Abdun provided?

What does the laa (لا) tajweed symbol mean when reciting the Qur'an?
I was always taught that the laa (لا) symbol meant "Never stop here", and that any recitation would need to continue through it as if it was one phrase. As I was taught, this would **always** be recited as **"...`aliimullathii...**", with no break between it. And that if I do catch myself pausing at that point and needing to continue the recitation, I should always back up a few words so I could properly recite the entire thing without pausing, as otherwise I could inadvertently be changing the meaning of the verse into something Islamically unacceptable.
However, I have come to be told that there is a difference of opinion regarding this mark in the case of it being above a circle, which I was unaware of. It was definitely not how I was taught, and most English-language resources for reading the Qur'an that I can easily dig up (e.g. https://islam.stackexchange.com/q/4130/22) confirm that it just means "Do not stop, period." and don't mention any difference of opinion in that regard.
So the question lies, in the hopes of making this a comprehensive canonical reference, how should the laa (لا) mark be interpreted when reciting the Qur'an? What does it mean, why is it important, and what differences of opinion are there regarding it?

Assalamu alaykum my brothers, I've been surfing the internet about if it's halal to draw such human images with facial expressions, but I don't know if some facial expressions such as 2 pixels representing an eye of a character permissible or not, Since they're some simple pixels that don't come with the advanced tiered drawings of advanced eyes (Example: the image below).
Also is it permissible to make my character *completely* animated? In addition, some say that it's permissible to draw In virtual (Computers) and not in reality.
**To sum up**, is it permissible to draw a character such as the image below with SIMPLE facial expressions? is it fine if the character doesn't come close to a real human being? Jazak'umullah khairan..

Regardless of status does all men in Jannah get at least one or as per an hadith 2 women of Earth?
What about the last person to enter Jannah and he is followed by his 2 wives, are these wives, hoors or people of Earth?
I am confused regarding various interpretations and hadiths.
Please simplify.
Referring:
> Undoubtedly the believer will have more than two [wives] in Paradise, because of the report narrated in as-Sahihayn [al-Bukhari (3243) and Muslim (2838)] from Abu ‘Imran al-Jawzi, from Abu Bakr ibn ‘Abdillah ibn Qays, from his father, who said: The Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) said: “In Paradise the believer will have a tent made from a single hollowed-out pearl, sixty miles high (or wide), in which the believer will have wives and he will go around among them and they will not see one another.” (Hadi al-Arwah, p. 232)
Ibn al-Qayyim said:
> there is no mention in the sahih hadiths of anything more than two wives, except what is mentioned in the hadith of Abu Musa, that “In Paradise the believer will have a tent made from a single hollowed-out pearl, sixty miles high (or wide), in which the believer will have wives and he will go around among them.”
I say: The last hadith was classed as sahih by ad-Diya.
According to the hadith of Abu Sa‘id in [Sahih] Muslim, which speaks of the lowest of the people of Paradise in status, he says:
> “Then his two wives will enter upon him.”
Al-‘Iraqi (may Allah have mercy on him) said:
> “The two wives will be from among the women of this world, and the wives in addition to that will be from among al-hur al-‘in.… From the other reports, it is clear that two wives is the minimum that the inhabitant of Paradise will have from among the women of this world, and the minimum number that he will have from among al-hur al-‘in is seventy. As for more than that, there will be no limit… at-Tirmidhi narrated from Thuwayr ibn Abi Fakhitah that Ibn ‘Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) said: The Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) said: “The lowest of the people of Paradise in status will be one who will look out on his gardens, wives, blessings, servants and concubines, the distance of one thousand years. The dearest of them to Allah will be the one who looks upon His Countenance morning and evening.” (Tarh at-Tathrib fi Sharh at-Taqrib, 8/270)
So are the wives from amongst people of this world or hoors?
Does a unmarried person also gets hoors or daughters of Adam(A.S)?

Asalam o alaikum,
I am a Muslim(Sunni Hanfi) teenager. I once made an oath to Allah not to commit a sin again(I was baligh then, maybe, but not mentally mature then, this was a long time ago),I said,"Ya Allah!I take a qasam that if I commit this sin again,it is like that I am not your man,I don't have imaan on you". Astaghfirullah.I wasn't mature enough to think over it,I foolishly took the oath.I couldn't stop myself and committed the sin again. Then I was very scared of Allah.I received the Kalmah Tayyibah, performed ghusl, prayed to Allah to forgive me.
This was about three years ago.I ask Allah for forgiveness,to forgive me and count me as one of his pious men,I pray 5 times a day and try to repent and stay away from committing such sin again.I am currently paying kafarah for breaking qssam(3 fasts,as I can't afford anything else). Will my sin be forgiven? Also, will I be accounted for it?As now I see it,I might have been baligh then but not mentally mature and this was such a foolish thing to do.Please help me.
PS:I was 11 or most probably 12 then.Had bit of beard.Had had my first ejaculation.So that's why I think I was baligh.But I wasn't mentally mature.I took such s big step without consideration.
