Salaam everyone! I need some advice on a halal income situation.
I work at a game studio where, unfortunately, they use pirated software. I’m just an employee and follow the tasks my employer gives me — I don’t own the company or choose the tools.
Now, I’m planning to take an interest-free loan from this company (they’ll deduct it monthly from my salary) to build my own personal PC.
On that PC, I plan to create my own independent games using only authentic and legally purchased tools— no piracy, no inappropriate content — fully clean.
Once I launch those games and start earning from them, will that income be 100% halal? Or is there a gray area I should be aware of?
I’d really appreciate your insights. JazakAllah khair!

So will the person in video game who has to lie get sin for that? **Even though everyone in game agreed to that.** From example popular game "Among Us "

Assalamu'alaikum. I want to buy and play a life simulation game called The Sims 4.
The game lets you control the character's life (their basic needs, career, relationships, etc).
It has two modes, the first mode is creating a character and playing that character. The second mode is build mode where you build the house.
The character life mode has kissing, uncovered awrah and a lot more haram stuff in it for me to list. Basically it resembles the western culture.
Build mode is just building houses, design interiors, placing the furniture, decorating the garden and other things. No characters.
I choose this game because I see no house building games better like this one.
I only want to play the game just to build houses and design interiors.
I can even learn some interior architecture stuff and see the real picture of what the house looks like rather than sketching it.
I avoid playing the animated characters and mute the music in the game.
Is this allowed? Is this permissable? Jazāk Allāhu Khayran.

is buying prime (one time buy) on csgo allowed?
with it you can get free cases when you level without specifically paying for it.
but you pay once on the start to get prime.
you can sell the cases or the skins that drop from them.
you do not pay for each case.
>You can potentially get free cases in CS2 through weekly care package drops, in-game events, and by participating in community giveaways or using third-party services that offer daily free case openings. Additionally, some sites offer free cases in exchange for completing tasks or watching ads.
means the is no risk of losing money.
also i dont intend to sell the cases as it then will undoubtedly considered
gambling for the person who buys them.
i want to open the cases and sell the contents for a fair price
the thing is that the you dont know what skin you will get
is this considered gambling

There is a hadith from Burayda by Imam Muslim in his Sahih,
"Whoever plays *Backgammon* is as one who dipped his hand in swine's blood".
I gather from this that, games of chance & playing with dice may be Haram. Is this true/correct?
> "O ye who believe! Intoxicants and gambling, (dedication of) stones,
> and (divination by) arrows, are an abomination― of Satan's handiwork:
> eschew such (abomination), that ye may prosper."
>
> Surah Al Ma'idah Ayah 90
Isn't the admonishment in the Qur'an against Gambling only? And surely this means with property or money.
Otherwise, Snakes & Ladders, a game children play with dice would be Haram.

Many modern video games feature a free "battle pass" with various rewards, and often include an additional premium tier which can be purchased with real money which gives much more or higher quality rewards, but otherwise works exactly the same.
These battle passes feature rewards which are not received immediately, but rather which are earned over time by playing or achieving set goals in-game. The rewards are often fixed, but may also include randomized drops. There is also a time limit so if the required achievements are not met before the deadline, all remaining unredeemed rewards are forfeit.
**Would paying real money to access the premium tier of these battle passes be acceptable in Islam?** So as not to distract the focus of the question, assume that the video game in question is otherwise permissible.

Assalamu alaykum my brothers, I've been surfing the internet about if it's halal to draw such human images with facial expressions, but I don't know if some facial expressions such as 2 pixels representing an eye of a character permissible or not, Since they're some simple pixels that don't come with the advanced tiered drawings of advanced eyes (Example: the image below).
Also is it permissible to make my character *completely* animated? In addition, some say that it's permissible to draw In virtual (Computers) and not in reality.
**To sum up**, is it permissible to draw a character such as the image below with SIMPLE facial expressions? is it fine if the character doesn't come close to a real human being? Jazak'umullah khairan..

Would knowledge of a game be considered non-benefical knowledge?
For example, if I know what Y lvl diamonds spawn in Minecraft, and I were to share it with others, would this be considered Non-beneficial knowledge? Or have I gotten the concept of it entirely wrong? (I have no idea what tag to put so I put halal-haram)

Or crates that drops items in certain chances too. Is it considered gambling? When buying crates the only thing you lose is in-game money you have gained. When you kill the boss and don't get the item, you lose nothing but time maybe. I heard it's Haram only if you lose money when doing such stuff
