Salaam everyone! I need some advice on a halal income situation.
I work at a game studio where, unfortunately, they use pirated software. I’m just an employee and follow the tasks my employer gives me — I don’t own the company or choose the tools.
Now, I’m planning to take an interest-free loan from this company (they’ll deduct it monthly from my salary) to build my own personal PC.
On that PC, I plan to create my own independent games using only authentic and legally purchased tools— no piracy, no inappropriate content — fully clean.
Once I launch those games and start earning from them, will that income be 100% halal? Or is there a gray area I should be aware of?

I would like to know if it is permissible in Islam to include these types of images in the app. Are there any specific guidelines or considerations I should be aware of regarding this matter?

I work as a programmer for a shipping company. My job requires me to create a program which contains fields like "shipper's name", "address", etc. Also there are fields which provides information about the item being shipped, such as weight, size, etc.
There is also another field which I must provide and it is called the "insurance amount" field. This field will contain the amount the shipper paid if he paid for insurance.
Note that I do not know what is being shipped and who is shipping it. I just make the program where these fields get automatically populated when some one from the shipping office sends the information. The program then takes the information and stores it somewhere else. I never deal with the information directly nor do I have any information about how or what kind of insurance they have. I am just required to provide the fields.
Is my work considered haram for this?

Assalamu alaykum my brothers, I've been surfing the internet about if it's halal to draw such human images with facial expressions, but I don't know if some facial expressions such as 2 pixels representing an eye of a character permissible or not, Since they're some simple pixels that don't come with the advanced tiered drawings of advanced eyes (Example: the image below).
Also is it permissible to make my character *completely* animated? In addition, some say that it's permissible to draw In virtual (Computers) and not in reality.
**To sum up**, is it permissible to draw a character such as the image below with SIMPLE facial expressions? is it fine if the character doesn't come close to a real human being? Jazak'umullah khairan..

I am scraping data from public available web pages,it can be copied manually but instead a bot saves the time & the effort.
- **Is web automation haram?** for example bot login to my account ,post some data on my account.
usually it is against website terms of use too,But is it fair!?
I found arabic fatwa on Islamweb which says that web scraping is allowed because the data are publicaly available,the fatwa did not mention anything about terms of use ,so maybe the chekh doesn't know the whole story?or i am just too incredulous .

In a way I’m helping the developer to get more sales if someone liked his software.
In another way there is people who bypass the license code and use the software with all features.. for free

My question is regarding the actual *using* of software that was obtained from a pirated source, either with or without the end user's knowledge.
For example, many of the computer centres here will sell computers with a pirated OS pre-installed, and they will provide discs of the pirated software. Is it *haram* to use these, given that most of the users don't even realize that what they have is pirated software? Must they stop using the software when they actually learn that it was originally pirated?
