Is it allowed for my father to pay my zakat for me?
I calculated my zakat for this year, and when I recently visited, I asked him to give the money to my mother to donate (she knows some charities that she can give the money to). He said, keep the money and he'll give her the same amount on my behalf... as a gift. So basically just decided to pay my zakat.
Is this allowed?
Obviously, I can afford to pay my own zakat (because everyone can pay their own zakat). But also obviously, parents are allowed to gift money to their children.
Thank you

As a Muslim girl I know that wearing a hijab (scarf for covering the hair) is compulsory and I do wear it. But wearing the hijab isn't permitted in the school where I study. They also don't allow other students to use things that would reflect their religion, like a Hindu student is not allowed to use a Bindi on his/her forehead. They say that this promotes equality among the students.
Now I am confused what to do. Is it acceptable not to wear hijab at school in this situation?

I have the intention of wearing hijab but I cannot wear in school, will I be sinful for this? And if somehow my photos in school uniform are uploaded somewhere without my knowledge will I be sinful for that?

Assalamu'alaikum
Dear brothers n sisters in Islam. I am a 23 years old male, and currently in a serious relationship with a girl (my classmate).
One day, while we were hanging out, it is our own activity to play with each other's smartphone (just for fun generally, to check for any suspicious messages from opposite genders' friends and to make other jealous, joke around etc.). We are very strict in term of maintaining distance between us as well as other restrictions because we fear that our relationship might not be blessed the Almighty God (God forbids), so while playing each other's smartphone, if for example I want to open a certain apps on her phone, I would ask her permission first (in fear that there might be pics of her or her female family members exposing their aurah and whatnot).
I was scrolling through her Telegram chat n there was a chat between her and her female bestfriend, I asked her if I can open and read their conversation, she said no problem. Thing is, she might forget this, but upon scrolling through their conversation, I saw a glimpse of her pic without scarf, so for a split second I saw her aurah : her hair.
I frozed and was extremely scared , but I covered it up because if she finds out, she might be extremely mad at me and it'll probably ruin our relationship with marriage goal. After that incident, I felt very disgusted with myself and I can tell that I just made a huge huge mistake, though unintentionally, but it was a very big sin that I committed that I almost threw up alone in my car when I remember the incidence.
My question is, what should I do? Did I just commit a big sin and should I tell my fiancé regarding the matter?
Thank you very much in advance dear brothers and sisters , very sorry for the long explanation.....

Bride put conditions before giving permission to initiate the nikah that the Groom needs to pray salah 5 times a day all his life, if he promise for doing the same then I give my permission to do nikah with him.
Initially, the Groom fulfilled the condition after the nikah moving forward by praying salah 5 times a day but later on he misses the salah oftenly and eventually ends up not praying the salah at all.
So my question is that "Is their nikah contract is still valid or invalid since the conditions put before nikah by bride is not fulfilled?"

Is this a sound practice of warning a lizard before killing it? Is there is a sunnah/hadeeth/quran proof for this? I am referring to lizards found in houses in Pakistan.

Is it true that Quran 35:41 means that the earth doesnt move? I see some websites translating "تَزُولَا ۚ" as "cease" but can anyone tell me if this is a proper translation? Because as im reading tafsir i see that it means the heavens and earth dont move.

And should the people choose their religion intellectually based upon the various religious texts? If yes, wouldn’t it mean that he is testing the intelligence of his own creation ( I mean is he doubtful in our intelligence ) ?

Question on drawing and video game development
Salam aleykum,
this concerns characters for video games:
Drawing easily recognizable lifelike things is obviously a huge no-go, also you do not want to give into this wretched degenerate lewd gacha scheme that's popular despite the ridiculous amounts of money to be made. Fire burns paper...
But how is it when characters are lo-fi highly pixelated and have hollowed out eyes in pure black?
Do pure black eyes which display an empty skull count as depictions of the living, can the argument be made that an empty skull is signifying death?
Can one leave out the eyes and just draw brows?
A good combination with faceless characters and fitting ambiente would be horror games, but are these even non-haram (I'd err on the side of nope)?
And of course, since the faith is supposed to be easy and maybe Allah has better to grant for leaving these things aside, I'd be easily ready to discard these altogether.
Then I'd just focus on mecha and robots and shooters with characters that wear helms visors and masks instead of faces, or whose heads look like abstract modern art, nothing lifelike, e.g. like in the game Warframe.
Or maybe have the game be top-down 2D where you don't notice much of the characters.
Allah knows best.
