Does the Quran actually refer to the expansion of the universe?

According to many Islamic sources, Quran 51:47 refers to the expansion of the universe, a phenomenon that has been made known to us in the recent century.
> And the heaven We constructed with strength, and indeed, We are [its] expander. (51:47)
Most of the debate pertaining to this verse is centered on the word 'musioona', and whether it implies an expansion of space in the past, or a continuous & ongoing expansion.
**However, how do we know in the first place that the word 'samaa' used in this verse is referring to the greater universe (i.e heaven)?**
In the Quran, Allah frequently reminds us of rain coming from the sky, as provision for his creation:
> Do you not see that Allah sends down rain from the sky and makes it flow as springs [and rivers] in the earth; .... (39:21)
In verses such as these, the term 'samaa' cannot be used to denote the wider universe, but rather the closer regions of Earth's atmosphere to us.
Just to clarify, I understand that Arabic words can mean multiple things - 'samaa' can be either "sky" or "heaven"- **but is it possible to know for certain which of these meanings is meant in 51:47 (i.e without using a potential scientific interpretation)?**

I am engaged to my cousin. Recently, I came to know that she is having an affair with another cousin of ours. She accepted her mistake, and she was sorry for that, but she still wants to marry me.
I am pretty sure that she had intimate relationship with him, but she denied it when I asked her. But her mother admitted it indirectly, and she is very close to her mother.
**Question**: Can I still marry my cousin who may have had premarital intercourse with my other cousin?

Why did Allah gave powers to the angels and jinns, but not to humans?
I'm wondering why Allah swt gave powers to angels and jinns like teleporting to other places, and turning into animals or other things. But he did not granted us human beings those powers. Is there a specific reason for this?

Sometimes the parent may be in the wrong, does the child have the right to correct their parent or go against them or is that not permissible. For example, it may be that the child has learnt something from a recent Islamic lecture but their parents continue to say no their way is correct and they refuse to listen then bring up other arguments. Can the child go against his parents if he feels that the lecture was teaching him the correct thing even thought it might affect his relationship with his parents?
Also if the parents are always arguing and fighting are the children allowed to take sides? I know every husband and wife argue but I am talking about big arguments and every few days. Are the children allowed to leave their parents or would the child go to hell if their parent disown them? Are the children allowed to pray against their parents?

Will there be cars and airplanes in Jannah?
Some people say that we wont desire or think about technology in Jannah, while others say that it will be there but far better than the worldly versions.

I'm a revert. So naturally, my knowledge is very limited. However, the Islam I came to is completely different from the one that people I live with practice. They have weird beliefs and Aqeedah like believing in 40 Abdaal that have powers *given to them by Allah*, and as soon as one of them dies, another person takes its place and becomes the new Abdaal. Out of curiosity, I asked one of them for the sources of these beliefs and he cited me [this source](https://makashfa.wordpress.com/2014/03/25/hadith-of-40-abdal-authenticity-and-proofs/) .
I managed to find that hadith on Sunnah.com, its reference is [Musnad 896](https://sunnah.com/ahmad:896) :
> Shuraih - i.e., bin Ubaid said:
The people of Syria were mentioned in the presence of Ali bin Abi Talib (رضي الله عنه) when he was in Iraq. They said: Curse them, O Ameer al-Mu`mineen. He said: No, I heard the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) say: “The abdal (people who are close to Allah) will be in Syria, and they will be forty men. Every time one of them dies, Allah will replace him with another man. By virtue of them rain is sent and through them victory is achieved against the enemy and punishment is warded off from the people of Syria.
It is graded weak by Darussalam. The source clearly rejects that and gives reason for it. However, their argument heavily relies on the assumption that in the Musnad Ahmad, the takhrij about the hadith being weak is not from Imam Ahmad ibn Hanbal himself. Probably suggesting that it is added by the publisher or something. See the image below.
**Question: Is it true that this comment is not by Imam Ahmad? What is really the authenticity of these hadiths and why are there some scholars who seem to not think these stories are fabrication ([like here](https://islamqa.org/shafii/shafiifiqh/30127/narrations-on-the-abdal/)) . And also what are good hadiths or verses from the Qur'an to counter this belief if this is fabrication?**
Jazakallahu Khayran!

How can we know whether the followers of a certain religion can become Dhimmis?
For example: In the hypothetical case that any neo-Pagan movement ever becomes large enough in a Muslim country or that a country that already has a large neo-Pagan community (like in Europe) ever becomes Muslim majority could they attain the same status as Zoroastrians and other non-People of the Book attained?
And would it make any difference if the movement itself claims to be monotheistic or henotheistic rather than outright polytheistic?

After seeing society and how words change and standards change. I notice how identities and ways of identities change as well. I noticed that most non muslims seem not wrong when they see it as a social construct or up to the culture. When I look at islams position on this wishy washyness of identity I see no islamic text on it other than urf. I am very confused as this same thing is used to act like gender is some made up thing. What's Islam's answer to identity and what exactly is the identity of one's culture, gender, status.. as ones culture can change and status or role but gender.. I am very confused. (PLEASE ISLAMIC REFERENCES, I don't want a "in my opinion" answer and sorry long question, jazakallah)
