if one skips the jumma regilarly (often or almost always), is it haram? Will Allah send them to hell or punish somehow? That is, what the consequences are? More specifically, is there any difference in the answer for a male / female: Is it acceptable for a man / woman to skip Jumma regularly, or just stop attending it? I ask because our university bureaucrats invented a new annoyance for the Muslim students (I am a professor in a non- Muslim country. Many of my students are Muslim): the university bureaucrats now insist on that all students must attend a "seminar", which is held every Friday, and usually in the afternoon or early evening, i.e., at the same time when my students typically are at the Mosque . This implies that attending jumma namaz becomes practically impossible. Thus the students are forced to make a choice: degree and scholarship vs. attending jumma. Such a choice between scholarship and jumma namaz sounds to me much as what in Christian tradition is called to sell one's soul to the devil.That is to explicitly renounce God. Here, the choice between scholarship and jumma sounds to me much like that: renouncing God I for money. Is it that bad sin/ haram , in the Islamic view? am lost as for what to advise my students to do. I cannot advise them haram, and I cannot advise them to drop out from the university.

If I do ghusl and I am not in the state of janaba, but I wash every part and rinse my nose and mouth just like in the ghusl I do for janaba, do I need to make wudu after getting out of the shower again? And if yes can I make the wudu right after the ghusl, inside of the shower? Thanks,

I tried treating them with an ice pack and coconut oil but I still feel the burning and itching. I usually walk to Jummah and the masjid is about 5 km away. I fear that I may have trouble walking all the way with these symptoms and will have trouble returning. Am I sinful if I do not go and pray zhuhr instead? jazakallah khairan

Assalamu Alaykum, I have Jummah prayer in my school alhamdulillah but Dhuhr is at 1pm right now and we do the prayer during lunch at 12:00-12:45 pm. The prayer plus the khutbah takes 30 minutes. If we were to do the Jummah at its proper time, we would miss almost half of the lesson (for reference, a period is 75 minutes). My school had already asked a local Sheikh and he said it would be permissible to pray earlier. My friends are concerned about the source. Would it be permissible to pray Jummah earlier due to our circumstance?

As Salamu Alaykum, I am at sea for anything for 3 to 5 weeks as a fisherman, but I am also the only Muslim on the vessel. This has created a problem for me in that on Friday I am the only person present for Jumuah and as I understand it Jumuah requires at least 2 people in order to be valid. I am also aware that someone who misses three or more Jumuah salat in a row is considered to have stepped outside the religion of Islam according to most scholars. In my school we are unable to pray Jummah during thuhr time, so the students have been using the hanbali opinion to pray 30min before Thuhr time. Since my school follows the Hanbali opinion does this Jumu’ah prayer replace the Dhuhr prayer as usual, or is it necessary to pray Dhuhr afterward in this case? If we are going to use a minority opinion the least we can do is follow it fully, so what is the hanbali opinion on this matter?

Assalamu alaikum, I miss the first jummah prayer due to the daylight savings time change. And was late to the first jummah and they had finished praying. I proceeded to pray dhuhr and repented for missing jummah. the masjid does a second jummah however I have to get back to work. What would be the best way to pray? Do I make dhuhr and repent or wait for the 2nd jummah?

I know that Sural Al Fatiha is obligatory for any salat prayer my doubt is should you recite the Surah al fatiha silently when you are praying behind the Imam during any kind of prayer like Jamat or Jummuah ? Or should you just listen to the faitha silently ? If you don't recite will your prayer be invalid ?

During Friday, I replace the Jummah with Zuhr prayer during this pandemic. Mosques are open but I do not want to go outside because the situation is still bad in my country. So I pray 4 rakats of Zuhr at home every Friday. Am I sinful for this? And is it applicable that I leave the fold of Islam due to intentionally missing Jummah even if I pray Zuhr?

The Caliphs conquered non-muslim lands who didn't speak arabic and I assume there must have been conversions during this time as well. So, did the friday khutbah take place in arabic there or was it in the local language? For example: Umar RA conquest of Persia here > Caliph Umar ordered a full invasion of the Sasanian empire in 642, > which led to the complete conquest of the Sasanians around 651. I know that there are total 12 rakats in Zohar prayer. For the friday prayer along with imam in a jamat there is bayan then khudbah then 2 Fard rakats. I would like to know along with these 2 rakats offered with imam how many else additional fard rakats are there ? I know there are 4 sunnah, 4 Fard, 2 Sunnah and 2 Nifil. If we read 2 Fard with Imam , are the 4 fard mandatory ?

Just wondering about this from a cross-cultural sensitivity sort of angle. Many Christians and Jews have a normal work-week in the USA with Saturday and Sundays off which coincides well with their religious observances. I've seen businesses make provisions for male Muslim coworkers who have Friday prayer times, but is it better, or would it be better, if the company would allow them to organize their entire week around Friday observances, or is a few hours for prayer sufficient?

I watched a video regarding the obligation of taking a bath on Fridays where mufti Muneer stated that there was a long discussion regarding the authenticity of this hadith and whether it could overrule the other authentic hadiths where it is clearly stated that taking a bath on Fridays is obligatory.
