What is the source of these statements of 4 Imam?
# Statements: # Imam **Abu Haneefah** (may Allah have mercy on him) said: > "If the hadeeth is saheeh then that is my madhhab." > > “It is not permissible for anyone to follow what we say if they do not know where we got it from.” > > (According to another report) > “It is haraam for the one who doe...
# Statements: # Imam **Abu Haneefah** (may Allah have mercy on him) said: > "If the hadeeth is saheeh then that is my madhhab." > > “It is not permissible for anyone to follow what we say if they do not know where we got it from.” > > (According to another report) > “It is haraam for the one who does not know my evidence to issue a fatwa based on my words.” > > (According to another report, he added:) >“We are human, we may say something today and retract it tomorrow.” > > “If I say something that goes against the Book of Allaah or the report of the Messenger (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him), then ignore what I say.” Imam **Maalik** (may Allaah have mercy on him) said: >“I am only human, sometimes I make mistakes and sometimes I get things right. Look at my opinion and whatever is in accordance with the Qur’aan and Sunnah, take it, and whatever is not in accordance with the Qur’aan and Sunnah, ignore it.” > > “There is no one after the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) whose words cannot be taken or left, apart from the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him).” (“Everyone’s statement can be taken or rejected except for the companion of this grave”) Imam **al-Shaafa’i** (may Allaah have mercy on him) said: > “There is no one who will not be unaware of some of the Sunnah of the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him). Whatever I say or whatever guidelines I establish, if there is a report from the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) which is different to what I said, then what matters is what the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said, and that is my opinion.” Imam **Ahmad** (may Allah have mercy on him) said: > “Do not follow me blindly and do not follow Maalik or al-Shaafa’i or al-Awzaa’i or al-Thawri blindly. Learn from where they learned.” > > “The opinion of al-Awzaa’i and the opinion of Maalik and the opinion of Abu Haneefah are all mere conjecture and it is all the same to me. Rather evidence is to be found in the reports – i.e., in the shar’i evidence.” These statements are widely cited by many including Islamqa and are so much popular that people don't feel the necessity to give the source of it. So I would like to know where this statement is written. What is the source of these statements? Where did these statements come from? There must be a source. I hope someone will be able to find it. Jazzak Allah Khair.

At what age does a person become an adult in Islam?

From Hidaya Foundation : > The person should be Muslim, **adult**, sane, free (not a slave). > They must posses a certain minimum amount of extra wealth (called nisab), fully owned by them in excess of personal use (such as clothing, food, shelter, household furniture, utensils, cars, etc). > They should have had this minimum amount in possession for a complete lunar year (hawl). The wealth should be of a productive nature, from which they can derive profit or benefit such as merchandise for business, gold, silver, livestock, etc. > The minimum amount (or Nisab) should not be owed to someone, i.e., it should be free from debt. The above states that a Muslim has **to be an adult** to give zakat. **Question:** At what age does a person become an adult in Islam? What **specific age in Sharia law** does a person **become an adult** so they are **obligated to give zakat**? *(Please include evidence from Qu'ran or Ahadith)*

The Z's answer on the question https://islam.stackexchange.com/questions/62267/naming-a-child-rasheed-instead-of-abdulrasheed made me wonder if there are other names or attributes of Allah which were attributed to humans in the qur'an? So to be more clear I consider the name/attribute: > رشيد > Rasheed as already proposed. Are there any other names (we consider among asma' Allah al-Husna) or attributes of Allah (other than Rasheed) -single word- which describe humans in the qur'an? Please answer with evidences (qur'an quotes). A list or full list would be great, but not necessary.

Meaning of the word Al Muhsanat in verse 5:5 according to the Zahiri School
I wonder how Zahiri's interpret the word "Al Muhsanat المحصنات" in the context of surah Al-Ma'idah:5. I found [this][1] on *Al-Muhalla* but I couldn't understand it completely. Both the pages 12 and 13 relavant, I guess, in the link that I shared. [1]: https://shamela.ws/book/767/3762#p1

Ibn Hazm on the permissibility of seeing women naked for marriage purposes
It is discussed in the entries like: [When proposing / before agreeing to marry a woman, how much can a man look at her (body)?][1] [What if a husband is displeased with his new wife's body after getting married?][2] [1]: https://islam.stackexchange.com/questions/39529/when-proposing-before-agreeing...
It is discussed in the entries like: When proposing / before agreeing to marry a woman, how much can a man look at her (body)? What if a husband is displeased with his new wife's body after getting married? Could someone give a page number from Al-Muhalla about where Ibn Hazm mentions "suitor can see the entire naked body of the woman for marriage purposes"? I would appreciate a link from Shamela.ws. As I understand Ibn Hazm uses the hadith > إذا خطب أحدكم المرأة، فإن استطاع أن ينظر إلى ما يدعوه إلى نكاحها > فليفعل (If one of you proposes to a woman and is able to look at > what will encourage him to marry her, let him do so.) to derive his ruling. Am I correct?

Watching this [video](https://youtu.be/G9A5yPhE2Jo?list=PLYO6Oz7uwCSjdlPsyDXgDOf5t2_IfBky3) (Timestamp: 46:37 - 48:00) about the Signs of the day of Judgement Sheikh Yasir Qadhi mentions that there is a hadith in Mustadrak Al Hakim in which Battle of Jamel is prophecised. The hadith basically says that the Prophet pbuh, A'isha R.A. and Ali R.A. are sitting in the same room and the Prophet Pbuh talks to Ali R.A. and asks him that if there is to be a disagreement between you and A'isha (R.A) then return her safely from where she came. This Hadith according to the Sheikh refers to a prophecy about the Battle of Jamel (Battle of the camel) as Ali R.A.returned A'isha R.A. safely after the battle. I was also wondering if anyone knows which hadith this is, and if the collection is available online?

Or was it censored because of the severe critic against Imam Abu Hanifa? Can somebody please explain that to me? Which version is accepted by scholars?
