Women aren't permitted to show their hair to non-mahrams. Lets say that there was a wedding, and lots of non-mahram men were present. Will the woman be allowed to wear a wig (and style it) so she does not show her hair to non-mahrams? Not necessarily at a wedding, but just in public. Can a woman wear a wig to cover her hair instead of some sort of scarf (hijab)?

I too my shahada on March 9th 2025. I was wondering can I possible marry a Muslim Man, while going through the divorce process from my ex (Non Muslim) husband. We have been separated since June 2024. I also have a protective order against him for me and our 3 children. I have no form of communication with him. I have been fantasizing about my mother and sister since I was 17. Now I'm 25 and I still turned-on when I have such feelings. It is really the only thing that makes me happy. It is generally observed that exorbitantly high mehr/sedaq are set as the condition for marriage by the bride (or her family who represent her). This thing has the potential to set forth the idea of marriage primarily for the sake of material benefits rather then spiritual ones, coupled with the possibility of breading social wrongs and disrupting it's very fabrics, cynicism etc. Although, the wife has the right to get her alimony. But is it permissible to set forth demands, in the prenuptial, so exorbitantly high that marriage tends to become a cause for bad rather then good? Is there a suggested/advisable alimony that should be demanded?

I have a question about Hadith 3199, Book 59, Hadith 10. In there is told by Abu Dar that he heard from Muhammad(pbuh) that the sun at sunset travels to the Throne of Allah and has to get permission before it is allowed to rise up again. It ends with telling that that is is what verse 36:38 of the Quran is refering to. Is this a correct Hadith? The chain must be correct to make it inside Sahih Bukhari and the narrator must be a trustworthy person. But is it possible that he heard it wrong from Muhammad(pbuh), misunderstanded it or even confused it with other things? In the past it would not be as strange as it is now in this scientific age. We know now that the earth rotates around the sun and around itself. It is not the sun that goes around the earth. The day that the sun comes up from the west will be caused by the earth that starts to rotate in the opposite way. And the sun too is moving inside the Milky Way galaxy and I though that the verse in the Hadith refers to that last movement instead of refering to the sunset and the sunrise. We also know that the sun at sunset is still shining at the opposite part of the earth. If we think at night that the sun went to the Throne of Allah what should the people at the other side of the earth think while for them it is day on that same moment? Is it just me who does not understand how that is possible, or is science not that far yet, or is it symbolic? Can it be misunderstood and narrated by a good man through a correct chain?

What if they don't want me to touch them when they're arrested, but I have to because they might be suspects or even guilty? What if I have to touch people who aren't mahrams?

I didn't masturbate or reach my climax ,I just changed my clothes and washed my private part normally. So i have been having bad thoughts about allah since a month now it became worse i started tp think about bad duas for example like (god dont forgive me forever) but i dont want that dua to happen even though its stuck into my mind and i cant stop thinking about it every day i always do bad duas because of my intrusive thoughts i dont want that dua to be granted im scared and i cant control my thoughts i tried to read quran but nothing is working,i always get interrupted by these bad dua thoughts.Will allah accept these bad duas or no because i have intrusive thoughts?

My brother who's been making dua for 10 years, day and night, for a cure and nothing has changed so he said to me he will never make dua again as it's a waste of time. He said "I wasted all that time and tears for nothing...." My question is: Can anyone prove to me dua really works? Because God said call me and I will answer. Islam is confusing and don't tell me there's three ways of answering dua.

I was 19 years old and my uncle gave me money which he said I would need to return at the rate of gold. So basically if for example he gave me 100 PKR - he would consider it as an equivalent amount of gold on the day he would loan me the money. The loan for studies and was given over a period of time. In the monetary terms, I have paid him twice the amount and the loan is still outstanding. Someone said that in Islam it would be considered as an interest (riba) in Islam!

In both cases (building the scraper myself or using a third-party scraper), is it haram if it violates the site’s ToS? 2. if the client keap using the tool, would that be considered continuously participating in sin (siyyi’ah jariyah)?

As those who don't belive in Allah due to any reason. Thus does Allah sustain and provide them as they deny his existence ?

For example, if one wanted to learn how to tie one's shoe, or something of the sort which requires the use of the hand, and can only find a video in which has a woman (in which it only shows her hands/hand movement), would it be permissible to watch the video? (or in the case of real life, would it be permissible to watch how the woman uses her hands in order to learn the skill?) What about in the case of not focusing on the woman's hands and instead focusing on how she uses them?

So i m really confuse whether ground water is pure or not.... It is very good with no taste, no color and no smell. So can i use groundwater for ghusl and wudu??
