Can I know exactly how could I be a good muslim when communicating with people? I always get tired and/or unhappy deep down when communicating with people, even tho they were nice to me. I sometimes end up saying bad words to them. I really want to fix my relationship with my family and friends

Same question for Asiya, wife of the Fir-aun.
Both these ladies' names are mentioned in Al-Quran.

I met an celebrity lately, and found that he is a bad person, adulterer. Then someone asked me about him today, and I told him the truth. And also made aware some other girls about his bad intentions. A girl became aware about him after hearing it.
But it made me thoughtful, whether should I told on his back about his bad characteristic, when it may help other. Or I shouldn't? What does Islam says regarding this. If it is not accepted in Islam then I'll repent to Allah, and try my best to stop this.
So, should we talk about someone on his/her back to warn other if we are sure about his/her evil deeds?

> A grace is a short prayer or thankful phrase said before or after eating. The term most commonly refers to Christian traditions. -- Wikipedia
Here's a Catholic example:
> Bless us, O Lord, and these, Thy gifts, which we are about to receive from Thy bounty. Through Christ, our Lord. Amen.
There's an implication of shirk in this passage, which is obviously unacceptable in Islam.
In my experience, ordinarily the host (or one of the hosts) will stand up and say grace, while the remaining people bow their heads and remain silent.
**Question**: What can a Muslim do when dining with Christian friends who say grace?
I don't want to be unfriendly nor disrespectful, nor obstinate in religious matters. It seems like I could mentally replace "Christ" with "God", which seems like it would make the passage Muslim appropriate. Alternatively, I could say something like "in the name of God" (basically Bismillah in English), which would probably be not too off-putting.

Is making weird faces to make a friend laugh permissible?
Is making weird faces to make a friend (of same gender) laugh allowed in Islam? I just wanted to know about it because it seems to me that it may be disliked. But I wanted to know the Islamic perspective (of Ahlus Sunnah wal Jama'ah) on it rather than my assumption.

Why did the Prophet stop a man from eating with his right hand (instead of his left)?

This question concerns this hadith:
> Salama b. Akwa' reported on the authority of his father that a person ate in the presence of Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) with his left hand, whereupon he said: Eat with your right hand. He said: I cannot do that, whereupon he (the Holy Prophet) said: May you not be able to do that. It was vanity that prevented him from doing it, and **he could not raise it (the right hand) up to his mouth**. -- Sahih Muslim 2021 (sunnah.com ) and Riyad as-Salihin (sunnah.com and sunnah.com )
I'm puzzled by this hadith. It seems like the Prophet could have stopped the man eating with his left hand (instead of his right) thereby forcing him to eat with his right hand, i.e., the desired hand to eat with. However, the Prophet seems to have forced the man to eat with his left hand.
**Question**: Why did the Prophet stop a man from eating with his right hand (instead of his left)?
I found some commentary online here (number 159), but it doesn't explain why he was prevented from using his right hand instead of his left. It was also mentioned here: https://islam.stackexchange.com/q/36641/17163

I am not Muslim, but I am fascinated by religion and try to read etc on the major religions. I am unclear, however, about the correct use of ṣalawāt ("PBUH" etc) when referring to prophets by name: is this requirement intended for the speaker/author, or for the listener/reader, or both? More specifically, as a non-Muslim, would it be actively inappropriate to include such? Obviously it would not serve me to offend a listener/reader by either including it inappropriately, or omitting it where the Muslim reader/listener would expect it.
Even when used (or not) incorrectly, I expect most people would probably give me the benefit of the doubt and simply write it off (correctly) as ignorance, but: it would be good to have clear guidance in the correct usage by a non-Muslim (I am reminded of [the potential issues arising from *the salam*](https://islam.stackexchange.com/questions/1827/as-salmu-alaykum-for-non-muslims))

Assalaamu Alaikum,
I recently had a discussion/argument with my bud regarding this. According to his Aalim Muslims should talk a bit while eating because Yahoodi(Jews) do not talk while eating so as part of Muqalifat(in offense) Muslims should talk?
He didn't prove this by any evidence which I asked for but still the question arises, if an Aalim has commented on this.
So if anybody has any reference to this or the correct evidence to prove this wrong or right please let all our brothers and sisters know it.
Jazaakallahu Khair.

I know that scaring Muslims is not allowed in Islam. But if I scare my friend just for fun is that allowed or not? For example in the TV programs when they scare people, they meant to just kidd with them.

I have been married for 3 years and me and my wife live separate to parents.
I allow her to visit her parents anytime she likes.
However I do not attend her parents house due to tension and negative influence they place on my wife recently.
On the flip side. I have now asked her to come with me to visit my parents house and my brothers house. Going together as a couple and there is nothing haram about visiting.
As far as my understanding. I have instructed my wife to come with me. She is refusing based on the fact I do not go her parents house.
Can she islamically refuse?
As this is disobeying her husband.
I am not obliged to attend her parents house. But as her husband she is obliged to obey as long As it is not haram?
She is currently refusing.
Need help please
Thank you

Manner of correcting spouse
In response to behaviour that is unappealing to him and perhaps negative in general, what evidence is there of the manner in which a husband gives his wife necessary guidance about her behaviour (or as some may say corrects her behaviour).
