Giving ghusl water to our children to cure evil eye

I am aware of a hadith where Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) instructed a person to give his bath water (water he used to wash his body) to another person (I don't know if he was a Sahabi) because it was believed that he gave the other person the evil eye.
> Imam Ahmad, Malik, al-Nasai and Ibn Hibban narrated from Sahl ibn
> Hanif that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) came
> out and traveled with him towards Makkah, until they were in the
> mountain pass of al-Kharar in al-Jahfah. There Sahl ibn Hanif did
> ghusl (bathed), and he was a handsome white-skinned man with beautiful
> skin. ‘Amir ibn Rabi'ah, one of Banu ‘Adiyy ibn Ka'b looked at him
> whilst he was doing ghusl and said: “I have never seen such beautiful
> skin as this, not even the skin of a virgin,” and Sahl fell to the
> ground. They went to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of
> Allah be upon him) and said, “O Messenger of Allah, can you do
> anything for Sahl, because by Allah he cannot raise his head.” He
> said, “Do you accuse anyone with regard to him?” They said, “‘Amir ibn
> Rabi'ah looked at him.” So the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings
> of Allah be upon him) called ‘Amir and rebuked him strongly. He said,
> “Why would one of you kill his brother? If you see something that you
> like, then pray for blessing for him.” Then he said to him, “Wash
> yourself for him.” So he washed his face, hands, forearms, knees and
> the sides of his feet, and inside his izar (lower garment) in the
> vessel. Then that water was poured over him, and a man poured it over
> his head and back from behind. He did that to him, then Sahl got up
> and joined the people and there was nothing wrong with him. Classed as
> sahih (authentic) by al-Albani in al-Mishkat.

My question is regarding a different case. Majority of the time, we do not know who the perpetrator of the evil eye is. In such a case, if it is suspected that someone is suffering from the effects of the evil eye, can the parents of the afflicted person give him Ghusl water? Additionally, can we request a pious Muslim to give Ghusl water to someone believed to be affected by the evil eye? Are there any authentic ahadith (like the one in the link above) regarding parents giving their children Ghusl water and/or asking a pious Muslim for ghusl water to ward off evil eye?

I found this extremely weird and sketchy but I couldn't stop her no matter how hard I tried. Later, she went outside and threw it on the ground and said some birds will come eat it. I'm very confused on what she did and if its shirk or not. Please tell me ! Thank you.

AoA, I often see jinns, specifically 2 hours before Azan of fajr. Suddenly In my sleep I hear there's some voice coming saying la ilaha illallah. Slowly this voice getting strange and it disappears. After it suddenly I hear some evil voices. I fear and then suddenly gets up but there's weight on me by which I can get up. I see a black jinn in front of me and my body gets dragged and my right hand gets up automatically. I start to recite Ayat ul Kursi due to which I feel severe headache and feels like someone is pressing my very strongly. During this I'm constantly seen jinn in front of me and I'm sitting but I can't move. I keep reciting Ayat ul Kursi or any ayat which come to mind. Suddenly everything disappears and gets to normal and I'm enable to stand. But still there remains strong pressing of my head and shoulders like someone is still pressing it until some other person see me. It always happens when I'm sleeping alone or everyone around me is sleeping. It's very painful and disturbing. I try to read Quran and offer Nimaz, but strong immediate reactions are shown after nimaz or Quran, Like Yawning and strange pain in my head and body. Please someone tell me what are these things and Why it is happening to me. Also tell me How can I get rid of all these things and return to normal life.

I have really bad anxiety and I think I have intrusive thoughts/OCD.
I have these awful thoughts that disrespects Allah(SWT) and I am scared. I keep doing my shahada because these thoughts sometimes commit blasphemy! I hate my self for them. I am also in constant fear that I hurt people because sometimes my thoughts say awful things about people. I say I don’t mean it but at this point I am not sure because I can’t stop thinking these awful thoughts. I am so scared of giving people evil eye because of these thoughts. So every time I have these thoughts I always ask Allah for forgiveness and I pray that it doesn’t effect people. I am also in constant fear that I am committing shirk because of these thoughts. These thoughts get extra loud especially when I pray. My heart hurts because of these thoughts. I don’t know what to do. So my question is. Can you commit shirk in the mind? And can you give evil eye from the mind?

Salam aleykum,
the question stands above. Both nazar and black magic base on another power other than Allah's, so why is it not considered as shirk? In fact, Islam even tells to be careful about it, especially black magic.
For example, why would i be able to curse somebody? Or how is it permissable that i can make nazar on somebody so that he will actually end up failing? We shouldn't be able to do that, because there's no other power than Allah.
Please no assumptions, but only answers from people who know for sure what the reason is.
Allahu alem.

I have read this with regards to the evil eye here however it seems to explain how to protect yourself from the evil eye. However how does one cure the evil eye once one believes he or she has been affected by it?
Is it the same procedure? Secondly from what I vaguely understand a bath is required, can this be any bath or is ghusl with specific intention of purifying ones self from the evil eye required? Does one have to go into the bath with intention of purification or can one take a regular bath and then practise those instructions in the above link (if they are for curing)?

What is Islamic view of evil eye?
Does the concept of evil eye (nazar) have a place in Islam? If so, what does Islam think about it? How can one get protected from it? Could [Blue eyes](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Blue_eyes.JPG) protect one from evil eye according to Islam?

The problem is that every time I tell her something which her mother or anyone else in family is doing, she wanna prove me wrong or his brother try to be a scholar. How can I encounter this?

I feel that my question has been answered lighly here . The answer to this question would lead to sub questions that changes due to the answer of this question.
First, **can Jinns/Shayatin/Iblees read our thoughts?**
If that is true, wouldn't this be a contradiction? Because the quran clearly states:
> 27:65: Say: None in the heavens or on earth, except Allah, knows what is
> hidden: nor can they perceive when they shall be raised up (for
> Judgment).
Sub question: **If Jinns cannot read our thoughts, how can he waswas (whisper negatively) to us when we think about a certain subject?** You could say, he is the one, that in the first place whispered to you to think about that subject. But that wouldn't be logically valid in all scenarios. There are scenarios where the jinn couldn't be the one that started the subject (which then lead to negatively thoughts), that some might call waswas from the shaytan. In that case how could the shaytan waswas to you about that subject without knowing what you think? Maybe our definition of waswas and of shaytan in the context of waswas is wrong?
Sub question: **If Jinns cannot read our thoughts, how can he know that we are jelaous on someone?** Scholars had said that jinns fuel are jealousy, which lead the jinns to do something evil on the person you are casting the evil eye on. Sources (Youtube 3:45)
If they cannot read our thoughts and knowing that we are getting jelaous at someone, they wouldn't be able to feed on that jelaousy and by that doing something evil on the person. The evil eye, just by thought would in that way not be able to be caused by a jinn. Who is it caused by then?
*My questions are marked bold, everything else are comments around them.*
The hadiths and verses in the Quran doesn't clearly state thus anywhere. Indeed the Hadith and verses clearly says that Satan only whispers onto human.

Does the evil eye only affect muslims?
I've been taught and I have also read that the evil eye is real. What I don't understand is that there are many many extremely rich and wealthy non Muslims, who many many people will envy. Why don't they ever get affected by the evil eye? Or does the evil eye only affect you if you're Muslim?
