Assalamu Alaikum Brothers in Islam,
In a scenario where a Muslim has something of his stolen, and another Muslim brother comes along and informs him of the thief and his whereabouts and gives a testimony of him witnessing the robbery which is later proved to be accurate and the theif is caught.
In this case, can the owner of the stolen goods reward the brother who helped him, with a portion of that stolen goods as a token of thanks?
Is this considered imitating the kufr or unislamic in anyway or can it be understood to be encouraged?

Salaam alaikum!
**Background:**
My whole life is falling apart, long story short I reverted to islam about 4 years ago.
About 3 years ago I met my husband, we moved into my husband's auntie's house, however we are being forced to move into downstairs rooms (not sure permenantly) The room is disgusting (mold, cracks on the wall, peeling wallpaper) and freezing cold due to there being patio doors that aren't sealed properly.
There is major renovation going on in that house meaning we and our two cats have nowhere to stay.
Alhamdulliah that my husband's family are letting us crash at there house but they can't keep our cats as they have a cat breeding business.
My non Muslim parents have kept them for 3 days and now are asking us to take them back, nothing can persuade them. No one we know will take them. So now I have to keep them in my house In the kitchen with building work going on.
So now everyday I'm going to have to walk 2 miles from my in-laws house to my house, to feed them, play with the and cuddle them. It will be difficult as I'm not mentally too well.
**Question:**
I am really suffering and I'm in need of Islamic motivation.
I'd like to know is there any reward for my efforts in looking after my cats? Perhaps if there was I'd feel better and be more motivated to do it.

Do rewards double if one pray twice in congregation?
If I pray twice in two different mosques, will I double the rewards twice? For example, I pray fajr in a mosque and walk to another one close by with a slightly different prayer time to pray in that other one too. Will I get the full hassanates for both prayers?

>Abu Dharr narrated: "We fasted with the Prophet, so he did not pray (the night prayer) with us until seven (nights) of the month remained. Then he (pbuh) led us in prayer until a third of the night had gone, then he did not lead us in prayer on the sixth. Then he led us in prayer on the fifth until half of the night had gone. We said to him: 'O Messenger of Allah! Wouldn't you lead us in prayer for the remainder of the night?' **He said: 'Indeed, whoever stands (praying) with the Imam until he finished, then it is recorded for him that he prayed the whole night.**; Then he did not lead us in prayer until three (nights) of the month remained. Then he led us in prayer on the third and he called his family and his women to pray with us until we feared missing the Falah" I (Jubair bin Nufair) said to him: "What is the Falah" He said: "The Suhur."

But is it only in the case of Taraweeh in the mosque? Or does this reward also apply if we pray at home until the imam finishes? I have a problem with passing wind so I fear that I might pass wind in the Taraweeh salah and lose the whole reward. I would like to know what the scholars say about this. As a layman I can just apply my logic that, "Oh, the hadith says about praying with the imam, it doesn't refer to congregation in the mosque so my question is answered." But often the scholars say different things.

Is there any reward for reciting the Quran for the dead, especially sura Yaseen. This I find most of them pay to those who recite it, Mostly they will be a group of 3 guys. Reciting Quran among those who do this action is for the person who is dead. Is there any hadeeth to back this action?

In Iran, observing hijab is required by law to a certain extent (see Wikipedia ). This means women are forced to do it (to some degree), that observing hijab is ordinary, and that many women there seem to love and encourage observing hijab there. Many shops in Iran sell hijab-related clothing items, and it's easier to buy clothes that are both fashionable and modest.
In contrast, Australia doesn't have such a law, and a woman exposing her awrah is an everyday occurrence, with very few women doing otherwise. Indeed, observing hijab would render you the odd one out, and hijab-related shops are rare. Moreover, Australia has some unsettling anti-Islam prejudice, e.g. from anti-Islam groups (e.g. the True Blue Crew ), and hijabis may be subject to harassment to violence:
> ...the headscarf has become a lightning rod for attacking Muslim women. -- Gillian Triggs, president of the Australian Human Rights Commission, The Guardian
(See also Islamophobia in Australia , Wikipedia.)
This makes me wonder if this difference in societal attitudes is taken into account...
**Question**: Is the reward for observing hijab in Iran the same as for observing hijab in Australia?
On one hand, observing hijab is practically far easier to do in Iran than in Australia. On the other hand, it's essentially the same act of worship.

Would Allah accept your good deeds if your intention is only to recieve rewards?
As far as I know, if we worship Allah or do any good deeds our intention should be is to only please Allah or do them good deeds His sake. What if your intention is to get rewards or get salvation hereafter? would Allah still accept our good deeds? And Allah Knows Best.

Some people like me have light or heavy disabilities when they born. I know that Quran do not make any special difference between them and others except in contributing in wars.
But I heard somewhere a Hadith that disabilities clear some sins of the person who have this disability.
In general, does Islam have something special not-physical reward for people with disabilities? e.g. clearing some of their sins not contributing in wars which is physical!
Or will God reward them with special gift after death because of their patient with disabilities?
Thanks in advance!

This question relates to:
> And establish prayer at the two ends of the day and at the approach of the night. Indeed, **good deeds do away with misdeeds**. That is a reminder for those who remember.
> Qur'an 11:114
I'm wondering if this means:
1. good deeds and bad deeds cancel out, i.e., the reward for a good deed is lost if it is used to "do away with misdeeds", or
2. in addition to good deeds "doing away with misdeeds", they are rewarded (with the reward equal to if no bad deeds were committed).
**Question**: Does "good deeds do away with misdeeds" imply that good and bad deeds cancel out, or that there is still a reward for good deeds?
(Also related is *...a good deed will have ten times the like thereof ... an evil deed will not be recompensed except the like thereof...* Qur'an 6:160 .)

I was wondering, if i do a voluntary fast (ie. not Ramadan) and due to traveling i would break the fast temporary for the travel time (ie more than 3 hours). Then resume the rest of the day, would i still get the reward for fasting that day?
I did try to find somethings on it, but most of the information is on Ramadan fasting and it is generally good to makeup a day of obligatory fasting.
But since this is a voluntary fast i wondered if it carried some of the same rulings?
> source would be gladly appreciated.
Also if this question falls too much into a grey area where more doubt can arise than certainty, let it go into the dark where it belongs.
