How does each page of the Kitab start and end with a new ayat?
This may be a stupid question but I’m new on my journey and was just wondering how each page of the Kitab fits its ayats so cleanly that no ayat continues onto the next page? Each page ends and starts with a new ayat. How was this organized?

Salam aleikum, Regarding elongation marks: Do scholars allow to have different categories of elongation marks in Quran ? In terms of pronounciation, it is pronounced exactly the same. What I mean by it in an example (Pay attention to ٱلۡعَٰلَمِينَ): Surah Al Fatiha, Verse 2: https://m.wordofallah.com/1 and https://quran.com/1 > ٱلۡحَمۡدُ لِلَّهِ رَبِّ ٱلۡعَٰلَمِينَ https://myislam.org/surah-fatiha-translation/ and my Quran home: > الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ After the ‘Ayn there is a small Alif in the first one and in the second one there is a big Alif. Is this allowed by scholars, because I taught the orthography of the bigger letters was always the same (without the harakat and the smaller elongation marks etc.).

Does it change the meaning because stops act as semantics for separation of parts?

However, I looked at a website recently which said that in Quran 66:12, in the hafs version it says “his books” while in the warsh version it says “his book.” Does this not change the meaning in the verse? Also, there are differences regarding singular and plural in other places as well, so I was wondering if that changes the meaning? Jazakallah Khair

In hafs the word for worst of creatures is شَرُّ الْبَرِيَّةِ while in warsh it says شر البريئة the latter translates into worst of innocent. I've checked the translation for بريئة and it translates into innocent. These are neither same nor complimentary. How do you reconcile these two?

Asalamualaikum. My younger brother has been autistic at the age of 2 years old. Me and my family have been trying to teach him about being a Muslim and a normal citizen. But up until now, he's at the age of 16 and he hasn't gain any knowledge or practice of being a normal citizen or a Muslim. But me and my family are all Muslim. Since the time of Ramadan has arrived, I plan to read the Qur'an on his behalf since he cannot read despite the training we've given him over the past years due to his autism. Am I permissible to read Quran on his behalf or no? If not, what else should I do for him? Jazak Allah Khair.

My dad has made a separate family group chat on WhatsApp dedicated to us completing the quran collectively. There are 5 of us in the group chat and we are tasked with completing 6 chapters of the quran each and then collectively we would have completed the recitation of the quran. We are given a timescale to complete this in too, such as a month or two and then the practice is repeated. We are also told that this isn't the only recitation of the quran we should be doing, we should be doing our own too. Is there anything wrong with this practice?

May you never hear,” and “Râ’ina!” [Herd us!]—playing with words and discrediting the faith. Had they said ˹courteously˺, “We hear and obey,” “Listen to us,” and “Unẓurna,” [Tend to us!] it would have been better for them and more proper. Allah has condemned them for their disbelief, so they do not believe except for a few." Why is Ra'ina replaced by Unzurna because some of the Jews meant Ra'ina sarcastically with the meaning "Listen, may you become deaf"? They could use some kind of playful, ambiguous connotation to Unzurna as well. Just like in every language I believe you can give every word a negative connotation or positive whether you may like it or not. مع السلامة

Quran verse 33:33 was a direct commandment to the Prophet's wives only. So why do people say it is supposed to be for ALL Muslim women?

As we might already know, very few muslims today learn Quran by it's meaning. Many of us only learn to recite it. When asked, very few of them could answer that they knew the meaning of the verses they read. It makes me wonder. Do we actually misunderstood the word اِقْرَأْ (read) since a while?. It reminds me of the verse 2:170 from Al-Baqarah that kind of scolding us for following our forefathers even they knew nothing. There area two types of reading. First, you recite the words even you don't understand it. Second, you may not read it loud but you examine and understand it in your heart. So I come to the question, which type of reading the word اِقْرَأْ actually means. Is it both?. The more I read and try to understand the Quran, the more I realize that it doesn't talk about recitation or reading out loud by lips. It's about understanding it as the message from Allah. Surah Al-A'raf verse 7:179. > *Indeed, We have created for Jahannam many jinn and humans. They have hearts they do not understand with, eyes they do not see with, and ears they do not hear with. They are like cattle. In fact they are even less guided! Such people are entirely heedless.* The verse talks about using our eyes, ears, and heart, to read, hear, and understand Allah's words, which mentioned in previous verses. So my question is, are we not among those who refuse to read, hear, and understand Allah's words, choose to become more lost than a cattle, choose to become heedless, and choose to go to Jahannam?. If we are, that's terrifying and I don't want to become one.

If it's the same verse, is the Qalun version of the imala recited in the same way as the one in Hafs? I would especially appreciate a link to a qari reciting the verse in Qalun as I've been unable to find one on YouTube.
