Can someone give me the reference to the hadith which presents this dua? 'Abdallah ibn 'Abbas reported that the Prophet, peace be upon him, prayed to Allah, "My Lord, help me and do not turn against me. Grant me victory, and do not grant victory over me. Plan on my behalf and do not plan against me. Guide me, and make the guidance easy for me. Grant me victory over those who act wrongfully toward me. O Allah, make me grateful to You, mindful of You, in awe of You, devoted to your obedience,humble, penitent, and ever turning to You in repentance. My Lord, accept my repentance, wash away my sins, answer my supplication, clearly establish my evidence, guide my heart, make my tongue true, and draw out malice from my breast."

My question is that one of my friend recently became bi after a break up with his cousin. the reason he became bi is because of a guy that guy was already gay so he targeted my friend .after two months of my friend's break up he comes in relationship with this guy he wasn't bi he is being manipulated by this guy bcs he was abnormally kind to my friend.they were not even friends they met through mutuals and then after meeting that guy Started becoming close to my friend I've tried thousand times to make him understand and my friend knows that he is wrong and all this thing is Haram but he still wants to do this bcs that guy treat him like a prince unlike my friends parents .so please tell me what should I do I will do his counselling one last time bcs he recently told me he wants future with this guy so tell me Shaikh should I cut him from my life bcs I've done his counselling more than his mother and I don't want to support him in his wrong decision so tell me what I should I do.

My father was sexually abusive for 7 years and I didn’t even understand as he started when I was ten. I cut him off two years ago and my life has gone really horrible. These tests are not bringing me closer to Allah they are making me loose faith and think about suicide a lot. After brainstorming it’s the only wrong thing I think I could have done to make this test drive me away from Allah. I don’t smoke or drink, I avoid lieing as much as I can and try to be a good person but everything just keeps getting worse. Every thing I beg Allah for hardly ever materialize yet everyone around me seems to be getting those things with ease too.

My mom is currently divorced and has no male mahrams by her side except her brothers who live far from her. She lives with my younger sister back home and I am in a different country, does this mean she can't travel for example by car since she has no mahram to be with in the car?

Sunan Abi Dawud 2228 Narrated Aisha, Ummul Mu'minin: Habibah daughter of Sahl was the wife of Thabit ibn Qays Shimmas He beat her and **broke some of her part**. So she came to the Prophet (ﷺ) after morning, and complained to him against her husband. The Prophet (ﷺ) called on Thabit ibn Qays and said (to him): Take a part of her property and separate yourself from her. He asked: Is that right, Messenger of Allah? He said: Yes. He said: I have given her two gardens of mine as a dower, and they are already in her possession. The Prophet (ﷺ) said: Take them and separate yourself from her.

This has been on my mind for quite a while now I’ve seen some people claim that the Quran says that Christians believe that Jesus is the literal son of god, those people then claim that they don’t believe that he’s the literal son of god, rather that that’s a title and not to be taken literally. This, in their head, means that the Quran is wrong about this I’ve tried researching this but i don’t fully understand: Does the Quran say that Christians believe that Jesus is the offspring of god?

He said, "This is because of the > deficiency of a woman's mind." > Sahih Bukhari 3:48:826 I know in pre Islamic Arabia women were deprived of basic needs such as education and other affairs that might have otherwise developed their critical thinking abilities and intelligence and might have made them equally intelligent like men. The same could also be true for even today's world when a woman goes through menstrual cycles, pregnancy etc which could have a negative impact on her brain. However, to render them lesser in religion simply because they cannot pray or fast during menstruation seems unjust. The reasons are simple: They could have been allowed to pray or fast even while menstruating, They did not vote to be pardoned from praying during that period of time. They had no choice in it and this decision was narrated to them by Muhammad pbuh who is not a woman. Similarly, they also did not choose to get periods, they simply inherited it as part of their gender and they are paying the price. Does this mean that a woman doing every 'good deed' she is able to do, and a man doing every 'good deed' they are able to, will result in the man receiving a higher reward from Allah because he was able to do more religious deeds because of no restrictions and the female was able to do less religious deeds because of restrictions put forth upon her beyond her privilege to control? I know I could be wrong, Please explain why and how.

The hadith: > Abu Umamah, and other than him from the Companions of the Prophet (ﷺ), narrated that the Prophet (ﷺ) said: "Any Muslim man who frees a Muslim man, then it is his salvation from the Fire - each of his limbs suffices for a limb of himself. And any Muslim man that frees two Muslim women, then are his salvation from the Fire - each of their limbs suffices for a limb of himself. And any Muslim woman that frees a Muslim woman, then she is her salvation from the Fire - each of her limb suffices for a limb of herself." My question is, whats the reason that freeing 2 Muslim female slaves is equivalent to 1 male if a man frees them, but for a Muslim woman freeing 1 Muslim female is enough?

There is mentioned in the Holy Qur'an (72: 1-2) > Say, [O Muhammad], "It has been revealed to me that a group of the jinn listened and said, 'Indeed, we have heard an amazing Qur'an. It guides to the right course, and we have believed in it. And we will never associate with our Lord anyone. The incident of a group of Jinns being amazed by the recitation of the Qur'an. But does this mean that the Holy Qur'an was revealed for them too? If so how is it guaranteed that they come to know of it? And what about the Angels? Do they need the Holy Qur'an?

I'm trying to find a source for a claim I'm hearing that the first two Rak'at of Isha and Maghrib should be loud and the last two Rak'at of Isha and third Rak'at of Maghrib are quiet. Can anyone help me with this? I'm looking for a Hadith which provides evidence for the Messenger of Allah (عَلَيْهِ ٱلصَّلَاةُ وَٱلسَّلَامُ) doing this act.
