Who and when did this bid'ah for the first time in adhan?
In Sunni Islam adhan (اذان) is as follows: > اَللهُ اَکبَر (4 times) > > اَشهَدُ اَن لا اِلَهَ اِلَّا الله (2 times) > > اَشهَدُ اَنَّ مُحَمَّد رَسُولُ الله (2 times) > > حَیِّ عَلَی الصَّلاة (2 times) > > حَیِّ عَلَی الفَلاح (2 times) > > حَیِّ عَلَی خَیرِالعَمَل (1 time) > > اَللهُ اَکبَر (2 times...

But somewhere in history Shiites did this bid'ah in adhan. Now in Iran I know the Shiite version is recited. Who and when did this bid'ah?

As-salamu alaikum, I work as a security guard and most times work long hours of 10/11 and the odd one day of 6.5 hours. I am able to take one 30min break to pray my zhur. However unable to take the other 30min for magrib. Which then leaves me with no asr mag on time. Due to their rules of not allowing 15 min breaks for prayer and using my own to break it up with. What should I do? As there is no other job opportunities for me at the moment. Should I use toilet break as my prayer break? Or try to explain it would only take 5min to pray as I’m sure you can cut down to praying fard only? Thank you

Arising in the comments to the question https://islam.stackexchange.com/q/36165/17163 was the fact that I don't own a Qur'an. (Maybe I should be embarrassed about this.) The contents of the Qur'an are accessible through the Internet (e.g. Quran.com or IslamAwakened.com for English versions), along with numerous translations and tafseer. I have copies of it on my computer and my phone in English, and I often read it from my phone when I have to wait for something (e.g. on a flight). I don't speak or read Arabic. **Question**: As a non-Arabic-speaking Muslim, is it important for me to own a physical copy of the Qur'an? I presume there's no advantage of having an English-language hard copy, but there seems to be something special about owning an Arabic Qur'an.

The Quran is regarded as the word and speech of Allah. However, there is a query regarding verse 11.2 , which states >"I am a warner from Him," suggesting that Prophet Muhammad (SAW) is the warner or prophet from Allah. This phrase could imply that it is a direct speech from Prophet Muhammad (SAW) because it does not frame the statement as a command or message conveyed by the prophet to the people. Thus, when taken literally, the verse appears to be spoken by the Prophet himself, even though the Quran is the word of Allah.

I am told the precondition for freeing a slave is that he/she needs to be Muslim in first place, based on the hadith of Sahih Muslim, where a slave girl is asked "where Allah was" and subsequently the speaker argued that the prophet wanted to find out whether she was a Muslim or not. Incidentally there are other reports, which say a slave who delivered the child of master becomes freed upon death of master. Since these two dont reconcile, hence the question: what are the preconditions for freeing a slave in Islam? Search engines arent returning any answers.

Farting and breaking wudu
Let’s say you thought you farted, but then you changed your mind. Would your wudu still be valid, because if your not sure that you farted then it is broken. But if you changed your mind, will it still be gone because you first thought that you farted which broke it.

I have recently encountered videos that use similar titles such as "Allah chose you to find this video. Don't scroll away." I worry that this is might be makruh or much worse as the content creators make such heavy claims or declarations in their titles without proper evidence or backing since it implies knowledge in the Divine Will. This is only what I found with a quick search in the Quran and Hadiths: "Do not follow what you have no ˹sure˺ knowledge of. Indeed, all will be called to account for ˹their˺ hearing, sight, and intellect." (Quran, 17:36) "Do not falsely declare with your tongues, “This is lawful, and that is unlawful,” ˹only˺ fabricating lies against Allah. Indeed, those who fabricate lies against Allah will never succeed." (Quran, 16:116) Are making such claims in titles permissible? I hope that this is just waswas because I understand that Allah only gives guidance to those whom he wills.

Assalamu alaykum, I hope this message finds you well. I have a question regarding maintaining contact with non-mahram individuals. I have some male friends' numbers saved in my phone, but I realize that we don't communicate frequently, if at all. Considering Islamic principles of modesty and decency, would it be advisable for me to delete their contact information, even if there's no immediate necessity for it?I would appreciate your insight on this matter. JazakAllahu Khairan,

What if my 'intention' of creating these clay sculptures was purely for entertainment? Like toys, decor pieces and whatnot? Doesn't intention usually, and mostly always, matter when an action is done? Is this halal in a way? In the last comment of the question link I provided, does that link to anything mentioned here? I would really appreciate some insight as I am constantly in debate of this situation. Thank you.

I still feel the pain caused by the food I ate at Khaibar, and at this time, I feel as if my aorta is being cut from that poison." ________________ Aren't these Hadiths contradictory? If the prophet knew that Al-Ajwa could protect someone from poison or magic, why didn't he eat that date regularly in order to protect himself from poison or magic?
