Some explanatory books, such as Nayl al-Awtar by Imam al-Shawkani, Mirqat al-Mafatih by al-Mulla Ali al-Qari, and the explanation of al-Mishkat by al-Tibi, have interpreted the hadith of Safiyyah (radi Allahu 'anha), when she said that the Prophet (salla Allahu 'alayhi wa sallam) "bana biha", to mean that he built a new tent because of her or with her. Is it valid to interpret the hadith of Aisha (radi Allahu 'anha): "bana bi Rasul Allah", to mean that he built a tent because of her or with her? My question is: is this interpretation acceptable from the perspective of the Arabic language?

Non-Arabic speaking Muslims (especially foreigners living in Arab countries) understand the Friday Khutbah (sermon) by providing real-time text transcription and translation into their preferred language, silently, as live on-screen text. The purpose of the app is purely educational and spiritual—to support understanding and connection during worship for new Muslims or learners. My two respectful Fiqh-related questions are: Is it Islamically permissible for a beginner-level Muslim to look at their phone screen during Salah to view silent, real-time text translations of what is being recited (only for learning purposes while they are still memorising and understanding the prayer)? Is it allowed for a person to view silent real-time text translations of the Khutbah on their phone screen while listening attentively, especially when the sermon is in Arabic and the person is not fluent or a non-Arabic speaker? In both cases, the app does not play any audio, and the screen can be dimmed or simplified to avoid distraction. The goal is not to change the structure of Salah or Khutbah but to support understanding for those who are still in the process of learning. My mother went somewhere for ruqya and they gave this for adding to the water we drink. I am not good at reading Arabic hand-written like this. So I want to confirm if this is something from the Quran or God forbid something haram (in which case we should throw it away), as we don't really know the person who gave it to us. In Qur'an 33:56, the translation is "Indeed, Allah showers His blessings upon the Prophet, and His angels pray for him. O believers! Invoke Allah’s blessings upon him, and salute him with worthy greetings of peace." But somebody said the correct one is "Indeed, God and his angels pray for the Prophet" The Arabic word for pray is "يصلى " and the arabic word for "send blessings on" is "صلى على " and the word in the qur'an is "يُصَلُّوْنَ" So Pray = "Yusalli" Send blessings on = "Salli 'ala" Word in the qur'an = "Yusalluna" I know this is incorrect bcs ppl who can speak Arabic would notice about this ofc. Selamun aleikum, to the Arabic speakers, what exactly does the word مَنَازِلَ mean, especially in the context of this verse: And the moon – We have determined for it phases (مَنَازِل), until it returns [appearing] like the old date stalk.(Yasin, Verse 39, Sahih International) I looked up the meaning of this word online. I could only found that it means: house, home, resident, dwelling, domicile etc.. Does it also mean „phases“, „station“ and „stages“, as translated in some translations. There are also some translators, who translates it as „mansions“. What does it mean in this context? It would be great, if someone answers. Allah knows best.

In the meantime, I am writing about Islam, in the Bosnian language. It may be difficult for me to find an authentic translation of a hadeeth in the Bosnian language, as I do not have access to a set of works by one of the six imams, translated in Bosnian. In addition, finding these ahadeeth on the internet has also been difficult. My question is: Would I be able to translate an English version, into the Bosnian language, since I would not know how to translate it from Arabic to Bosnian?

I need to know exactly what is the content of this Bukhari's extensive work. Thought have searched the whole internet and couldn't find one. Just curious why this precious book, authored by best known author, aren't available in English until today. Or I missed one?

Is it necessary to read the Quran in Arabic? I have learned from elders and also seen many videos stating that understanding the meaning of the Qur'an is more important than just reading it. As i don't understand Arabic i would like to read the Quran in a language that i understand like English. So is it permissible that i read the Quran in english (or any other language) while not reading the Arabic part? ---------- Let us assume that the translations are 100% correct.

These iOS/ Android apps that are available these days, like there isn't any authority backing them up or something. Sometimes there are even mistakes found in translation in some Hadith apps. I mean we have to just plain trust the devs of the apps right? I'm not saying this is a bad thing, since some of the applications are very usefull. It's just that I've found bugs in the apps a handful of times, and reviewers report mistranslations sometimes too. The devs write the whole thing down themselves, so how can we verify the legitimacy of the content in their apps?

I am planning to build a simple mobile app that provide the user with extracts from the Holy Koran, collection of the Ahadith and the Sunnah. I will be providing the Arabic text as well as the English translation and transliteration. Are there any copyright restrictions on reproducing these English translations & transliterations? I am intending to use the late Yusuf Ali's widely respected English translation of the Holy Koran. Regards the ahadith and Sunnah, I have not confirmed a source yet.
