Assalamualaikum brothers and sisters,
I was 5 months pregnant and had a still birth of my baby last week. Just a week before losing my baby, I had a dream about someone kicking my stomach multiple times and it resulted in me bleeding heavily. The next morning I checked and wveryth Was fine Alhamdulillah but a few days after my baby’s heartbeat stopped. After 10 days of losing my baby and going through a near death experience at hospital , I am back at home. I wished and prayed to Allah SWT to show my face of the person who did it. And I saw in a day dream, a middle aged woman sitting and writing something on a paper. Last night I dreamt about me being at my husband’s ancestral home. I want to know the meaning of these dreams as I feel that these dreams especially the attack on my belly was from shaitan. I also bled from my nose the day my baby passed away and physically I had no signs of baby distress or anything. Please guide me through the interpretation of this dream. And also what this woman means and why I saw her after my baby passed away. Please help. I know it was Allah SWT will and He has something better in store for me. But I also believe it was an act of nazar or hasad or shaitan. Pls help.

Should a brain dead woman be taken off life support if she’s pregnant (9 weeks)
This has happened recently in America to a woman called Adriana Smith. She died when she was 9 weeks pregnant and was kept on life support to allow the baby to develop, against the families wishes. This has become a huge controversy and I wanted the Islamic point of view of this.

I want to know whether Islam allows this function?
I need authentic answer because, now that I'm pregnant, my family people are planning to do so. My intuition is that Islam does not allow this kind of function. But I want proof that this is not allowed from hadith and Sunnah.

Islam does not allow a person to have intercourse with a pregnant woman that carries someone elses child but apparantly he is allowed if that child is his own. My question is in regards to the following hadiths and part of prophets biography.
Al Kafi – V 5 – The Book of Marriage Ch 126 H 2:
(It has been narrated) from Abu Abdullah that Rasool-Allah went over to a man from the Helpers, and there was a mother with a large belly arguing. So he asked about her, so he said, ‘I bought her, O Rasool-Allah, and with her was this pregnancy’. He said: ‘Did you go near her?’ He said, ‘Yes’. He said: ‘Emancipate whatever is in her belly’. He said, ‘O Rasool-Allah, with what is emancipation deserved?’ He said: ‘Because your seed nourished his hearing, and his vision, and his flesh, and his blood’.
Al Kafi – V 5 – The Book of Marriage Ch 126 H 3:
3 - محمد بن يحيى، عن أحمد بن محمد، عن محمد بن يحيى، عن غياث بن إبراهيم، عن أبي عبد الله (عليه السلام) قال: من جامع أمة حبلى من غيره فعليه أن يعتق ولدها ولا يسترق لأنه شارك فيه الماء تمام الولد.
3 - Muhammad bin Yahya , on the authority of Ahmad bin Muhammad , on the authority of Muhammad bin Yahya , on the authority of Ghiyath bin Ibrahim , on the authority of Abu Abdullah (peace be upon him) who said: Whoever has intercourse with a pregnant female slave with another man must free her child and not become a slave, because he shares the water in him with the fullness of the child
kitab al maghazi al waqidi
https://shamela.ws/book/23680/723
"The Messenger of God passed a woman who, at that time, was at the end
of her term. He said, “To whom does this woman belong?” It was said, “To so and so.”
He said, “Perhaps he sleeps with her?” They said, “Yes.” He said, “How will her son
inherit from him when it is not his child? Or will he make him his slave, while he runs
under his hearing and his sight? Surely I have in mind to curse him with a curse that will
follow him to his grave."
Is it suggesting here that if a man has intercourse with a pregnant slave girl that her child's hearing and sight will be attributed to him even though the child is not his? Isnt this scientifically inaccurate since a fetus cannot be impacted by someone elses "Seed"
If this is not the case than what is the reasoning behind the prohibition of having intercourse with a pregnant woman who's child is not yours?
Please shed light on the issue. Thanks in advance.

This question is not on the morality of marrying or having intercourse with what we consider today a minor, as I have no issue with that especially when framed historically and geographically, rather my issue is that of the increased maternal mortality for adolescence and children.
We are well aware that women also commonly gave birth around that age;
> Ash-Shaafa‘i also said: In San‘aa’ I saw a grandmother who was twenty-one years old; she reached puberty at the age of nine and gave birth at the age of ten, and her daughter reached puberty at the age of nine and gave birth at the age of ten. As-Sunan al-Kubra by al-Bayhaqi (1/319)
However today, we know that the maternal mortality rate for adolescent and child mothers is up to 2x larger in the case of 16-19 year olds and up to 4x larger in those younger.
> mortality rates of children born to mothers aged <16 years, 16–17 years and 18–19 years at first birth were about 2–4 times, 1.5–2 times and 1.2–1.5 times higher, respectively, than among firstborn children of mothers aged 23–25 https://gh.bmj.com/content/7/5/e007681
This study was also conducted in sub-saharan Africa where we know that the age of puberty for women (8-13) is similar to the middle east now and during the prophetﷺ's time. The study also considers absolute mortality decreasing over time but says that the gradient between ages has remained the same so it is not related to past or new medical advances but rather the physical capability of the mother.
As such, why was intercourse allowed in consideration of a young person's higher chance of mortality? This is not to argue the morality of the age specifically but rather the effects of child birth on those women - as Allah is all-knowing would he not have banned or suggested coitus interruptus (or any other method) till later in the wife's life?
I don't mean that statement as a jab, of course, I was just wondering what the hikmah behind child marriages and young births was considering the risk involved. I've also heard of the average life expectancy argument however as far as I know, it was quite low due to a high infant mortality rate and that once an age threshold was reached, the life expectancy would increase to up to even 50+. Do correct me if I'm wrong though Jzk

Earlier I read in many articles that IVF is haraam since it is an unnatural way. But now its considered OK but only with the fusion of sperm-egg of a married couple.
I have a doubt that why is pregnancy considered haraam using egg donation or sperm donation, and considered to be
zinaa
.
As far as I know (not very sure) zinaa
of the body is to GET PHYSICAL with someone you are not married to (adultery). So in egg/sperm donation, people are not getting physical, so how could we term it as zinaa
?
Also, if a lady isn't getting pregnant naturally, and to avoid her divorce would it be wrong to go for egg/sperm donation ? Because no matter how loving you are, an adopted child would always be an adopted child, as he deserves to know his lineage. Once he knows his actual parents, its very likely that the love won't be the same.
Also, isn't getting a child with egg/sperm donation better than getting a divorce (divorce is a thing that Allah s.w.t hates most). ?

Is it obligatory in islam to continue to have more children when you can't provide for your existing children?

I heard somewhere that you should never stop having children based on wealth. I.e. if you hardly have any money to provide for your family, you should not let this stop you from having more and more children.
Is this Islamic or cultural? I know people who have 10 children, husband and wife, and even grandparents all living, sleeping, and cooking in 1 room. And then they go and have even more children. Is that what we're supposed to do in Islam, is this right?
Is it wrong not to have any children, and/or is it wrong to have just 1 or 2 children?
Therefore, is it haram not to have lots and lots of children due to lack of wealth?

In the country where I stay, if a woman is pregnant and she goes to hospital, she may be assigned a male gynecologist. The only way to be sure to have a female gynecologist is to look for a private practitioner that is very expensive.
These are my questions: Per fiqh, in this situation, if a man cannot afford a female practitioner:
1. Is he allowed to make his wife pregnant or should he use
contraceptive methods so that his wife doesn't fall pregnant so that
a man does not see her private parts.
2. Is it not mustahab for him not to have children until he becomes financially able to get her a female practioner because if his wife
gets pregnant, a man will see her private parts
My questions is based on two pieces of knowledge. First, as far as I know, looking at the awra of a woman is not allowed by a man unless the woman's life is in danger. Secondly, as far as I know, having baby is not obligatory.

Artus , 2015, explains the Hanafi stance: "marriage is legal at any age... sexual intercourse between the husband and the wife happens after the girl reaches puberty". Islam Q&A instead says "until she is physically able to bear intercourse". In any case, as far as I can tell, it's possible for a Muslim man be married to a 13 or 14 year-old girl, say, and have sex with her legally under Sharia.
**Question**: Is it haram for a husband to get his 13 or 14-year-old wife pregnant?
I ask because there seems to be medical and social complications that can arise from pregnancy at that age, e.g.:
> The top three causes for maternal death in Pakistan are post-partum haemorrhage (excessive bleeding), sepsis (major infection) and eclampsia (hypertensive disorder). All three are found to have greater prevalence in teen pregnancies due to biological and physiological factors. -- Mumtaz et al., *Age of marriage: A position paper*, 2010 (pdf )
And I wonder if it's haram until she is physically able to bear pregnancy (analogous to the Islam Q&A fatwa).

Recently, I stumbled upon this ruling https://islamqa.info/en/83799 about taking eggs from one wife of a man and implant the fertilized embryo it into another wife of the same man.
From what I understand from this ruling is that it was first allowed but then deemed not permissible after further discussions. But the argument that has been given to make it not permissible is that the wife that will have the embryo implanted may already be pregnant through the relations from the husband so there will a confusion about the identity of the mothers if she gives birth to twins.
Now, that ruling is from 1404AH (around 1983 and 1984). Maybe, at that time, technology was not that advanced but today's technology can tell us that whether a woman is already pregnant or not at the time of embryo implantation. In this case, most doctors today will not implant the embryo as the woman is already pregnant.
Is there any new ruling in the light of new technology that is available?
and what I know is that Shia muslims are allowed egg donations through a fatwa published in 1999 but sunni muslims are not but that's only my understanding.
P.S: Please stick to the topic of egg donation between the two wives of the same man, not from a stranger woman.
