As far as I know, the dog belongs to a hard-to-remove najis, and to remove it, you need to wash the place 7 times with water, and 1 time with water mixed with clean earth so that the water will be cloudy. The question is, does my father need first of all to clean the alleged place where the dog licked him from najis (my father does not remember exactly where the dog licked him), since he wants to start doing prayers?

According to the Shafi'i madhhab, is it possible to clean a thing from najis by washing in a washing machine?

It turns out that if I put a thing stained with najis in the washing machine for washing, it will not be cleaned, but on the contrary will make all the things that are washed with it unclean? It's just that I used to wash things in the washing machine that had an invisible najis on them without any signs (volume, color, taste, smell).

The problem with purulent snot
I have this situation-yellow snot every day, it's clear that it's purulent. Since pus is najis, it means purulent snot, which is essentially snot mixed with pus, is also najis. So, do I have to wash my nose before every ablution and prayer?

I often get yellow snot during the small ablution when I blow my nose. I know that a simple transparent slime is not najas. But pus, according to most Muslim scholars, is najas. Why am I so worried? Yellow and green snot are most likely purulent. However, I have no malaise, high fever, pain in the sinuses, which means there is no inflammation. I have allergies, and now spring is the period of allergy exacerbation. I do not know if these snot secretions contain pus or not. What should I do now, when such secretions come out during minor ablution, should I perform minor ablution again or not? Are such snot najasa?

Is it true that in the Shafi'i madhhab there is a category of najis that is forgiven?

On the website https://islamdag.ru/verouchenie/23254 (last 2 paragraphs) I saw this (the website says it in Russian): > There is a certain category of najas that is forgiven (i.e. afwu). This is impurity that can stick to clothes from dirty streets if it is impossible to protect oneself from it, if the dirt is not higher than the waist. Afwu is made from raindrops flowing from dirty roofs; from a small amount of blood from a wound and from boils; from blood from an injection site (if it does not come out too much); from the blood of a crushed flea or louse; if a small piece of dung gets into milk, afwu is also made. If a baby vomits and touches its mother's breast with its mouth, afwu is made from this; if a little impurity remains on the entrails of a slaughtered animal after washing, afwu is also made from this; one can eat bread baked on a dung fire. Afwu is made from additives for making cheese. However, it is strictly forbidden to use the duodenum or other body parts of an animal that is not slaughtered according to Shariah standards or is completely forbidden for consumption, especially a pig! Afwa is also made from hair that has migrated onto clothing while riding a donkey or a mule. In short, from all najasah (impurities), from which it is very difficult to protect oneself, the Almighty makes afwa (forgiveness). (This website tells all about the Shafi'i madhhab) So, the question is, is it true that there really is such a category of najis in the Shafi'i madhhab, and also, if this is true, it turns out that I can perform ablution, prayer, along with this najis on my body? Also, does splashing water from the toilet bowl, purulent snot, for example, apply to this najis?

Is it sufficient to rub an impurity under tap water if the stain is still visible afterwards?
I got an impurity on my trousers. I rubbed the place a little under water. Then I used it, but the stain of impurity was still visible, as the area was wet. It touched my skin. Is the trouser impure? Is the area of my body that it touched also impure?

If madhiy comes out before the ejaculation of semen, and then semen is ejaculated, and then the semen mixes with the madhiy, is the semen mixed with madhiy considered to be pure or najis? I'm of the view that semen is pure. So please answer from this point of view and mention difference of opinion from this point of view. Thank you. Note : I think that if semen is ejaculated after madhiy is discharged, and the semen mixes with madhiy, the semen may purify the madhiy here as the semen overwhelms the madhiy. And I'm also of the view that says pure liquid other than water can be used to purify impurity. But this is just an assumption. My question is written above, I mainly need answer of that.

My wife and I go to a café run by non-muslims (there are limited choices where we live unfortunately). They have a separate bowl for dogs, so that it stays separate. But my wife observed another customer letting their dog drink water from a glass intend for humans to use. The glass got collected and washed in the dishwasher, but was not cleaned once with soil first. Now we are paranoid about other customers letting their dogs make the crockery at the café impure, with no way for us to purify them. We could stop going to this café, and seek out a Muslim run establishment, but even then you couldn't guarantee that something made impure by a customer's dog would be spotted and washed with soil (and expected everything to be washed with soil on the off chance it was made impure seem impractical and unreasonable to demand.) What does one do when you can't reasonably follow the Sunnah on purifying crockery made impure by dogs?

If somehow urine splits onto my pants and then it becomes dry and then I touched that part with wet hand, is my hand impure? Again if the dry part again comes in contact with water and becomes wet and I touched it then what is the ruling? I also want to share that I live in a residential school. Here public toilets are used. Beside the toilet there is basin. Sometimes I walk and water falls on my leg while walk in from the mixture of water on the floor. What can I do? Again in the commodor it seems hard to me in case of purification. I want to use tissue paper for this. But there is scholarly difference regarding whether using water farz or not? What is the correct ruling? What should I do for this? I am very much fearful regarding the matter about my salat becoming correct or not as I fear whether I am pure or not? Please suggest me to solve my problem with Quranic verses and Hadith quotes.

I usually wash mani or madhi with my hands before putting the clothes in washing machine. But what happened is my mother one day she put all my undergarments in the washing machine and they are stained with mani, Mazi and some urine also. After the clothes washed I see the traces of Mazi. I am certain that it was traces of Mazi. And I also have seen the substances of mani. Now I know that sprinkling water on Mazi is sufficient. And mani is pure. But I am getting this doubt because of urine. Because usually what I do is when some mani and Mazi is discharged I do not do istinja after urinating. So the problem is urine drops make the mani and Mazi impure. Doubt is that overwhelming with water makes those traces of mani and Mazi pure or not? As I seen the substances of mani and assuming that because of urine drops it becomes impure and because it is not removed from the cloth and still impure. Please guide me in this matter.

Assalaamu Alaikkum.., I'm Fathima mother of two kids and 7 months pregnant. I'm suffering with waswas problem regarding najasa.. It often comes and goes... last few days I'm having severe waswas problem with 2 issues. I use to travel vacation to my home country and some other countries as well... when I travel Sometimes, airport dogs come close to my baggage and I feel their tongue touches my bags and I feel always my bags are unclean... so I try as much as I can not to touch anything with wet objects with my bags.. But, others don't do like that. Once My relative kept my praying mat on that bag and I'm not sure whether the musallaa wet or not... this happened a few months ago and even if I keep thinking I should not fall in to shaythan's whispering and I used the same mat to pray till I go to my country for 2 months vacation. But, when I come back I feel again this mat is dirty, I should wash it... some time I feel no it's not.. If I wash this will continue... last few days I'm praying on it... but my mind is always doubt in it... this is one issue.. another issue is I took one cloth in my bag with other cloths ( all were dry) but, when I take them all out, they were cool due to travel.. Now I feel my other clothes also become najis... I'm not sure with which cloths I kept that dirty cloth.. Last few days this 2 issues are making me mad... I'm full disturbed... I keep on asking dua from ALLAAH... Still my mind is heavy and always feeling that all are unclean.. I couldn't sleep properly.. I worry about my baby... Please give me a remedy.. It might look silly... But, I don't know what to do... I'm afraid something will happen to me.. My husband always say just leave it. I'm also trying. But, I couldn't do it... Should I see a doctor? I want to know, will najis transmit from one to another even if it little wet? Jazakallaah....

Waswas about najasa
Assalamu allaikum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuh. Question: How do I wash off the najasah from my body? Everyone says that it should be washed off, but how exactly? Will it be enough to take a handful of water and pour it on the area and wipe it off? Will this water not spread the najasa?

Assalamu 'alaikum, I have a difficulty for keeping my body pure and sometimes I feel it is very hard to keep it like that. Because these days almost every product is related to some animal origin, such as leather, greases, food items, paints, etc. And I have no guarantee over those whether it is made from pork or not. So I feel it is very hard to avoid such things. And I had some kind of waswas also I think and I'm sure no one near me cares about these things. But I feel if I use such items my prayer becomes invalid. And I searched for a cure from these kind of things and I found these two hadeeths: 1:Everything is pure unless you are certain about it that it is otherwise. 2:Avoid those things which make you doubt. So I dont know what I should do. For example I found white greases are made from inedible lard (from pork)so what should I do because I'm a mechanical engineering student and a car enthusiast so how should I abstain from those things? It is easy to abstain from food items that contains pork some times. But it's very hard to abstain to those items that indirectly contain pork such as greases for automobile, paints, etc. I am suffering a lot about this issue. >Can you please advice me what should I do? May allah shower his blessings upon you and your family. Thanks.

However, they don't seem to address this question: **Question**: Does a Muslim woman with urinary incontinence need to change her pad before each prayer? A woman with urinary incontinence may absorb the urine using some kind of pad , which will be kept against her skin. (Maybe men with urinary incontinence do the same, I'm not sure.) However, the pad may or may not be enough to keep the impurities away in order to perform prayer. Obviously, there's a level of impracticality to changing a pad this many times per day.

Recently I heard that when najasa (impurity[**ejaculation**]) has been touched with the clothes after **masturbation**, you can wash them by simply putting it in washing machine with high amount of water and detergent. Then after it wash, rinse and dry, **it becomes pure and you can use them again for praying**. I want to know that if it is true. If it is not true, then I would like to know how to wash Najis clothes in washing machine. I also read that after ejaculation **when the semen dries** you can do the same steps as I told earlier. So, all I want to know is **how to wash dried and wet Najis clothes which was mixed/touched with semen, is it okay to wash in a washing machine with high amount of water and detergent or it should be done in other ways**?

Assalamualaikum During an exam, I was desperate for the toilet but I thought I could hold it in until the end of the exam. I ended up wetting myself and I didn't tell anyone because I was too embarrassed. The next day I had an exam in that same seat so I got some wet tissue and wiped over the chair a few times as at the time I thought this was a permissible way to remove the impurity. I recently read on a few websites that this is permissible to do so on smooth surfaces. However, some websites say you have to pour water on it. Once all the exams were over, the chairs got moved to different rooms and there were hundreds of these chairs so it is literally impossible for me to know which chair could have a potential impurity on it. I really need advice as I'm unsure what to do in this situation. A response would be appreciated, Jazakallah Khair.
