> Al-Zawahir ‘an Iqtiraaf Al-Kaba’ir (2/225) It was also reported: “Whoever commits adultery with a married woman will have half of the punishment of this nation in the grave for her and for him. When the Day of Resurrection comes, God Almighty will judge her husband regarding his good deeds. This is if it was without his knowledge. If he knew and kept quiet, God will forbid him Paradise, because God Almighty wrote on its door: ‘You are forbidden to the cuckold.’” Is this true and authentic? Somehow that doesn’t really sound authentic/ part of the sunnah to me, which is why it would be helpful if someone of knowledge would help me clarify this matter.

Are there any Hadith which gives detail about Haman?
The Quran gives limited information about Haman. Is there any Hadith which presents more information about him? I cannot find any direct hadith from the Prophet pbuh but I think there would be some Mawquf hadiths available.

The way I perform ghusl is that I make intention, and then wash my entire body with water, and at the end, I pour water over my body. Pouring water over my body is not necessary, but I do it for good measure. Today when I was performing ghusl, I washed my entire body, which technically meant my ghusl was complete, but before pouring water over my body, I went out of the shower to the shelf on the bathroom, to get something. Then I came back and poured water over my body and finished ghusl. I am now worried that since I left to get something (I was still in the bathroom by the way) then my ghusl won't be valid, I think shaytaan is giving me waswas.

In a fatwa about women wearing pants,I read that it is permissible for women to wear pants if it is loose & not similar to pants that men wear. But I'm having a hard time understanding what kind of pants are for women. I mean men wear all kinds of pants these days. Can I buy a pair of pants from a shop if it says "Women trousers" on the lebel? Will that lebel be enough for me to explain myself to allah? Usually where I come from, people especially my moms age tend to consider pants as men clothing.however modern muslim women are seen wearing pants in recent times.

Some links (quite unreliable) seem to put the number closer to 10 thousand unique Sahih(Authentic) Hadith. Is there a study that identifies exactly how many are out there? If not, what are the major Sahih(Authentic) Hadith collections? To be precise, I'd like to know from a Sunni perspective. But answers from other sects would be interesting.

Salamun alaykum Shia brothers. I want to be educated on the matter of 12 imams. I don't want to offend anyone or mock any beliefs, I pose this question and set of points as I want to receive answers. My question is, did the Prophet (SAW) and the 12 Imams really make the concept of 12 Imams clear to their people? I contest this with 3 points: 1. We have 10's of 100's of hadiths and quran verses about Salah, Zakat, Hajj, Tawhid and Prophethood. Through this repetition, we're sure about the necessity of the 5 pillars within Islam. If the concept of Imamah was essential, it would deserve the same repetition by the Prophet (SAW) and 12 Imams in hadith literature 2. On the Hadith of 12 successors , it talks about caliphs instead of imams, doesn't mention names and says they'll be from the clan of Quraysh when the 12 imams are strictly from his (SAW) progeny. The Hadith doesn't make clear who these 12 successors would be. 3. Throughout history, many Shia sects came and went, and many branches still exist today. If the Prophet (SAW) and Imams properly conveyed Imamah to their people, why such differences between the Shia sects on the matter of Imamah? They all have their own Imams, with no set of Imams having more evidence than the other (According to my knowledge). In Shia sources, does each Imam narrate a hadith where he clearly appoints the next Imam? Thanks in advance for your answers.

From what I've learned, Muhammad was revealed the Quran over 23 years from angel Gabriel, and he told it to his companions who memorized it through rhythmic chants and such, and this memorization technique seems to have been common in ancient pre-islamic Arabia. Only after Muhammads death it seems that it was written down. My question is, what were the exact techniques used to memorize the verses of the Quran. How did this work? Is there a known rhythm or way of singing or chanting them? If so, where can I learn this rhythm?

السلام علیکم ورحمة الله وبركاته I know that Shias don't trust most of the sahabah so they won't accept their Hadith narrations but obviously Imam Ali bin Abi Talib RA is an exception to this. In fact, we sunnis have a hadith narrated by members of Ahlul Bait from Ali RA that Mutah has been forbidden by the Prophet SAW. This is present in in [Bukhari](https://sunnah.com/bukhari:4216) and [Muslim](https://sunnah.com/muslim:1407a) , among other collections used by sunnis. In fact, even a Shia scholar, Abdul Razzaq alSan'ani RH has narrated this Hadith [here](https://sunnah.com/ahmad:1204) . (Note that Sunnis hold Abdul Razzaq and his Hadiths in very high regard even though he was a Shia). What surprises me, however, is that Shias still consider Mutah to be permissible despite this Hadith. Which begs the obvious question, is this Hadith even present in Shia sources?
