When praying the fard of Dhuhr/Zuhr and Asr salah in congregation behind the imam, the imam recites everything silently.
According to some websites, it is **[makrooh tahrimi](http://www.questionsonislam.com/node/13057)** to recite anything behind the imam during salah in the Hanafi madhab, be it silent or loud prayer.
However, they also state that reciting surah Fatiha during congregation is wajib in the Shaf'iee madhab.
Why do the 2 madhabs have such opposite rulings for this incidence?
**Question:** Do the muqtadis need to recite anything while praying behind the imam, i.e. surahs, salawat, dua e masura, whether it is during silent salah or loud salah?
Please answer from all 4 madhabs view in this with evidence to support each claim

How does a mute person pray salah?
I'm in contact with a revert brother who was born deaf. He can't speak either. He is currently learning to recite Arabic for salah, and he says he's just thinking about the meaning and moving his lips. Is this the way someone who can't speak / hear his own recitation should offer salah? Or is there...

I have read on many websites that if one recites a specific name of Allah then he will receive certain benefits, eg, saying Ar Rahman a certain number of times will "remove the defect of forgetfulness" however different websites say different numbers. They also do not cite where they have found this information so i was wondering if there was any specific hadith which clearly stated the benefits of reciting specific names of Allah, eg Ar Rahman, or Al Gaffar etc.
Thank you.

I am confused about two different stopping signs, used at same point in different Mushaf of Quran
I was reciting Surah Al Bqarah verse 256, at one point there is لا/قف and on other mushaf there is صلے لا means stop is prohibited While صلے means stop is preferable. I am so confused, please if someone can guide me. It happened earlier in one ayat earlier as well.

Is performing Adhan in a natural voice preferred over reciting it in a melodious voice?

In the question below:
How are Adhan and Iqama recited in the Ibadi madhhab?
One of the answers has the statement:
> "Note that the adhan and iqamah are most correct if they are performed
> in natural voice, and for the adahn especially it should be quite
> -with small pauses- and clear voice (which is also preferred by imam Malik), not in a melodical voice as is usually done in the middle east
> for example."
As @Crimson points out in the comment section, do we have any point of reference which may explain if one is preferred over the other.

Is it allowed to read something loudly in a mosque while some people are praying?
In our office mosque, we usually read from a hadith book at the end of Asr prayers. Sometimes we read loudly while some of people are still praying, this may cause disturbance to the worshippers. What is the ruling here? Is this recitation allowed?
