Does relinquishing lead of fajr salaat to 'Eesa bin Maryam by Mahdi an indication that ameer ul mumineen need not be from progeny of Ali and Fatima?
> Hudhayfah reported that the Prophet (S) said, “Al-Mahdi will turn his face to Jesus when he descends as if water were dropping from his hair, and will say to him, ‘Go ahead and say the prayer.’ Jesus will say, ‘The prayer has been set up only for you.’ So, Jesus will pray behind a man who is among...
> Hudhayfah reported that the Prophet (S) said, “Al-Mahdi will turn his face to Jesus when he descends as if water were dropping from his hair, and will say to him, ‘Go ahead and say the prayer.’ Jesus will say, ‘The prayer has been set up only for you.’ So, Jesus will pray behind a man who is among my sons. Sirat-al-mustaqim 257, a shia source. > > While their Imaam will have advanced to pray the Fajr prayer with them, 'Eesa, the son of Mary may Allaah exalt his mention will descend [at the time of the Fajr prayer]. The Imaam will draw backward so that 'Eesa may Allaah exalt his mention would go forward and lead the people in prayer. However, 'Eesa may Allaah exalt his mention would put his hand between his shoulders and say to him: "Go forward and pray, as it is for you that the call for the prayer was called, so their Imaam would lead them in prayer." > > [[Ibn Maajah](https://www.sunnah.com/ibnmajah/36/152/)] Al-Munaawi may Allaah have mercy upon him said in his book entitled Faydh Al-Qadeer: > He (i.e. 'Eesa may Allaah exalt his mention) would descend at the time of Fajr prayer at the white minaret east of Damascus and he would find the Imaam (of prayer) Al-Mahdi wanting to establish the prayer. When he realizes that 'Eesa may Allaah exalt his mention is present, he would draw backward so that 'Eesa may Allaah exalt his mention would advance (to lead the people in prayer) but 'Eesa may Allaah exalt his mention would put him forward to lead the prayer and he would pray behind him. So, this is a great favor and honor for this nation. Thus, what is mentioned in this Hadeeth does not contradict what is mentioned in other narrations that 'Eesa may Allaah exalt his mention will lead Al-Mahdi in prayer. This was authoritatively asserted by Sa'd At-Taftaazaani who considered 'Eesa may Allaah exalt his mention to be better, as it is possible to reconcile (the narrations) that 'Eesa may Allaah exalt his mention would first pray behind the Mahdi in order to show that he ('Eesa) descended to be a follower of our Prophet Muhammad sallallaahu 'alayhi wa sallam ( may Allaah exalt his mention ) ruling by his [Prophet's] Sharee'ah (law). Then the Mahdi would be led by 'Eesa may Allaah exalt his mention on the basis of the principle that the one who is less important is led by the one who is better and more important. **Question:** Does relinquishing lead of fajr salaat to 'Eesa bin Maryam by Mahdi an indication that ameer ul mumineen need not be from progeny of Ali and Fatima?

My parents repeatedly insult and degrade my husband to a point that they personally attack him on issues such as how much money he makes, how he dresses, etc. They have been doing this for many years until a little while ago, they burst at him and crossed every line of disrespect. My husband lost his temper and responded that they are doing wrong and he does not wish to keep a further relationship with them because of the way they wrong him EVERY time we meet (at gatherings, etc.). My parents at that time did the same with me and told me that I am blinded and that my husband is a liar, and so is his family, etc. etc. My husband was selected by my parents, we had gotten married with everyone's consent and he is making a halal earning Alhumdullilah. My parents also gave me the ultimatum that I have hurt them over the years by siding with my husband. At this point, my siblings are also siding with my parents and all parties are at a no-talking relationship. I do not know how to proceed but am completely aware of the fact that my parents are in the wrong, as much as I hate to say it. Islamically, how should a woman deal with such a conflict between her two families (i.e. between her husband and her parents), especially insofar as she is expected to maintain ties with both?

Indian sub-continent [Barelvis](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Barelvi) say the Prophet possessed knowledge of unseen, too. **Question**: Did the Prophet have knowledge of the unseen (_'ilm al-ghayb_)? During _Hijra_, the Prophet hired a guide for the trip. If the Prophet had knowledge of unseen, he would not have hired a guide. The Prophet would have known all safe routes to _Madinah_. Does hiring a guide for _Hijra_ opposes those who say the Prophet had knowledge of unseen?

Why do Shias do things differently?
What I understand the reason for separation was a dispute over the succession of the Caliphate (I could be wrong), how did this turn into Shias doing things (praying, adhan etc.) that differ from Sunnis. Of course what I know could be wrong, if so please correct me.

Is it permissible to make sounds that imitate not the musical instruments but other sounds? like gun sound, horse gallop sound, explosion sound, stepping sound, particles dropping sound, opening a door sound etc. Note that these sounds require you to beat some stuff or blow into some stuff just like the musical instruments (like beating a table, beating a metal etc). Making these sounds may even require you to use something like musical instruments and edit the sound in an audio editing program and these sounds are really pleasing to hear although they are not really music. And sometimes they may resemble some musical instruments like some gun sounds do resemble musical instruments. If you want samples of these go to this site. https://www.soundsnap.com/tags/pump_action_0 However don't explore this site much as it may contain music.

Is it permissible to listen to or make digital sounds? Note that these digital sounds are made with computer without musical instruments and they are sometimes very pleasing to hear. Although they are not really music but may sound like some musical instruments. Examples of these sounds are beep sound, white noise, user interface sound, whoosh sound, robot sound, glitch sound, loading sound, warning or error sound in windows, keybad tones in mobile phone, notification sound etc. These are pleasing to hear but they don't cause you to dance like music. They are also used in many programs. If it is permissible to make these sound then to what extent would it be permissible? Example of this kind of sound - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cwnzygvHhGM (Glitch sound) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8qokt65f20o (User Interface sound) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RPfCZhvj1Ng (Beep sound) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nMfPqeZjc2c&t=10s (White noise)

Christian author and apologist [C.S. Lewis](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/CS_Lewis) , is famous, among other things, for posing the [Lord, Liar, or Lunatic](http://www.existence-of-god.com/lord-liar-lunatic.html) argument, in favor of the divinity of Christ. The cliff-notes version is: Jesus said he was God ([see here for a summary of verses to this effect](http://www.godonthe.net/evidence/said_god.htm)) . This leaves three logical possibilities: 1. Jesus was a lunatic, on par with someone who believes they are a slice of cheddar cheese. 2. Jesus was a liar, knowing full well he was not God, but trying to convince people that he was. 3. Jesus really was who he said he was, and he was God. Given that Islam holds both Jewish and Christian religious texts in high esteem, and Islam believes Jesus was a prophet of Allah, how does Islam reconcile its concept of Jesus with these three possibilities? Would Allah send a prophet who was a pathological liar, or a lunatic? I see also a fourth logical possibility, and that is that the scripture record is wildly inaccurate, and Jesus never actually claimed to be God. This possibility, of course, raises other issues, beyond the scope of this particular question.
