As a game developer, I've been offered a job involving a video game where players can purchase virtual points with real money, which cannot be exchanged for real money. The points are only used for playing games online, and free points are also given to all players daily. The game allows two players to bet their points, and the winner receives all the points/coins. I believe this is a form of gambling, but I'm uncertain.

Why didn’t the Prophet(ﷺ) order the Magians/Zoroastrians to be expelled from Arabia?

It’s well known in the time of the Prophet(ﷺ), Zoroastrians made up the Majority of Bahrain which is Morden day eastern Arabia.
We have Hadiths of the Prophet ordering the expulsion of Jews and Christians and Polytheists.
It has been narrated by 'Umar b. al-Khattib that he heard the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) say:
I will expel the Jews and Christians from the Arabian Peninsula and will not leave any but Muslim.
The Prophet (ﷺ) on his death-bed, gave three orders saying, "Expel the pagans from the Arabian Peninsula”
But with the Magians/Zoroatrians there are no such Hadiths expect to the contrary.
We have Hadiths where the Prophet collects Jizya from Bahrain and they stay there until Umar and he lets them stay and pay Jizya.
Narrated `Amr bin Dinar:
I was sitting with Jabir bin Zaid and
Amr bin Aus, and Bjalla was narrating to them in 70 A.H. the year when Mus
ab bin Az-Zubair was the leader of the pilgrims of Basra. We were sitting at the steps of Zamzam well and Bajala said, "I was the clerk of Juz bin Muawiya, Al-Ahnaf's paternal uncle. A letter came from Umar bin Al-Khattab one year before his death; and it was read:-- "Cancel every marriage contracted among the Magians between relatives of close kinship (marriages that are regarded illegal in Islam: a relative of this sort being called Dhu-Mahram.)"
Umar did not take the Jizya from the Magian infidels till Abdur-Rahman bin
Auf testified that Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) had taken the Jizya from the Magians of Hajar.
So how do the scholars explain this?
Are Magians the only ones among the religions allowed to reside in Arabia?

I’ve looked into some other religions and from what it seems it seems like fear is the foundation/root of belief. What I mean is saying “you will get punished if you don’t do X thing” that may just be for personal benefit. This can be used to exploit others, get money etc etc. From what I understand historically this was also a big thing in religions like Christianity where it seemed people were indoctrinated and a system was in place that used fear to “put people in their places” and there were things like tithes.
Is this the same case with Islam? Even if money isn’t necessarily in the equation it seems fear is the root to belief in anything, it’s also seems to me to be the reason why people don’t branch out and stick to their own religion without questioning anything, I think this ties into something called confirmation bias too. It seems people are just devoid of skepticism and taught something at birth and roll with it fearing if they don’t there will be consequences and that’s a pretty dangerous train of thought.

Yesterday I had a thought (but I don’t know if it was waswas or me) about how if I was an atheist and I had two options being a Muslim or a Christian. And in my head I thought if I was an atheist and I barley knew anything from both religions at first hand I would probably pick being a Christian because it looks much easier (keep in mind this is not how I feel now I would NEVER convert to being a Christian or Catholic I believe in Allah and the Quran). So if this thought was from me (not from waswas) would it be considered shirk even though this is not how I feel now.
As soon as I got this thought I regretted it . This is why I think this is waswas

Ibn Sina or Avicenna is one of the greatest Muslim philosophers that left indelible impressions on the Western Philosophy. Not only that Avicenna had contributed immensely to the field of medicine, which continues to benefit the field of modern medicine. Although he comes from today's Uzbekistan, which is part of Central Asia, he is generally considered to be a great scholar of the Persian world.
My question is mainly to the Sunni Muslims. Whether ibn Sina's [Avicenna] religious views are compatible with the Quranic teachings or not. Which ones agree and which ones do not with the teachings of the Quran? why?

As a convert this was my first serious question. I just convinced myself that Islam is closer to the straight path than Christianity which meant that a lot of people have added to the religion. After telling family I was Muslim I considered myself a Muslim (by definition), but I don't remember calling myself a "Muslim" (by name) at the time. Then to hear later that I must make some statement in Arabic that I don't understand before I become a Muslim seemed to me to be an innovation. The same with prayer in Arabic. Even an Islamic name :) which I never took. I don't think many people who grew up Muslim can appreciate this contrast very much, and most don't understand how important this is. Even many converts.
What logic can allow a convert to faithfully with **peace of mind** practice a religion in a foreign language that he does not understand?
Doing Salat in Arabic when I didn't understand the words felt more like I was worshiping other people by obeying them instead of worshiping God. Please understand this before answering or commenting or voting. I am not the first nor the last person to ask this, but there is no good answers for this on this site or other sites.

So there is a hadith mentioning the fact that there will be people on the day of judgement who have not heard of Islam / received the message from God in their lifetime, and from what I understand they will enter "hell " but that this "hell" will not be burning , but rather cool and safe.
Here is the hadith:
Al-Aswad ibn Saree reported that the Prophet of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said:
“There are four (who will protest) to Allaah on the Day of Resurrection: the deaf man who never heard anything, the insane man, the very old man, and the man who died during the fatrah (the interval between the time of ‘Eesaa (Jesus, upon whom be peace) and the time of Muhammad SAWS (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him).
The deaf man will say, ‘O Lord, Islam came but I never heard anything.’ The insane man will say, ‘O Lord, Islam came but the children ran after me and threw stones at me.’ The very old man will say, ‘O Lord, Islam came but I did not understand anything.’ The man who died during the fatrah will say, ‘O Lord, no Messenger from You came to me.’ He will accept their promises of obedience, then word will be sent to them to enter the Fire. By the One in Whose hand is the soul of Muhammad, if they enter it, it will be cool and safe for them.”
My questions:
1) With regards to the deaf man, why would him being deaf prevent him from learning the message? Surely God is more than capable of informing a deaf person of Islam.
2) I don't understand how the second man is insane. Islam came and children ran after him and threw stones... ok? So what? How does that make him the insane man? Is it implied that he is insane for not following Islam because he was attacked? It just makes no sense whatsoever. I would love some insight on that.
3) Again, with regards to the old man who was unable to understand; well then I don't see what prevented God from reaching out to him prior to him being in this state, and even so, couldn't he make him understand anyway? Surely God is more than capable of not allowing this to be an obstacle.
4) The fatrah I believe is a time in which there were no prophets( If i'm not mistaken), and thus people were "excused" for not following anything in particular. Again, this situation is only allowed to happen by the will of God so why would there be a fatrah? What purpose does it serve to have humans roam freely and do as they please for this fatrah without being given the proper religion to follow?
5) Why are these people sent to "hell"? Even if it's safe for them and they will not be tortured, it certainly isn't heaven and it seems they are barred from entering heaven, so how is this fair?

I read in a introduction to the Coran I took at Ste-Foy public library, in the province of Quebec, in Canada, that it was not written for 200 years; after it was written on "banana leafs" and after on mud tablets. Nothing of that remain today, wrote the translator of the Coran I read in parts. I would like to know the date of the most ancient manuscript. My question has only a friendship intent. I asked the same for the Bible, including the Gospels and the letters of St-Paul. I received clear answers, especially for the letters of St Paul; but sometime "approximative" dates, especially for the books of the old Covenant of the Bible, for example "Isaie" (that is written I French language).

We live in a joint family, my brother has a baby girl and my mother also lives in the same house. The question is when I get married, her son will live with us. When he becomes an adult (18yrs) will he be a na-mehram for my brother daughter or my mother? Is it legal in islam to live in a joint family with a "son" I do not have any blood relation with? I am discovering Islam and reading the Quran. I am also looking through this website to add some perspectives. Something that I don't understand is why Islam mixes faith in God - let's say "personal" relationship between you and God - and moral values applied to behaviour among men and women.
I get giving rules to help people know right from wrong, but most people just follow rules without actually thinking about them, because that's just the way it should be. Not questioning rules is never a good thing.
These rules, especially the most restrictive ones, create frustration and hypocrisy among men and women. How can someone be considered to have good moral values if inside he or she is filled with envy, anger, or shame?
On the other hand, how can someone with strong moral and ethical values while living freely from those rules be considered a bad person? For me this second choice seems much healthier and faithful in regards to God's expectations than the first one.
So I am quite confused... If I am a good person and God knows it, why should I follow rules that will make me feel bad and ultimately become someone not worthy of God's expectations?
