Allowed to say salaam while in prayer, yet not during khutbah? Does anyone else find this odd?

Assalaam-u-alaykum,
I was watching a YouTube video (watch from 5:49 to 6:17) by Muslim Lantern: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zt5aWPQGa0A&start=348&end=377
During prayer, it's apparently a sunnah to return salaam to a fellow Muslim if acknowledging their salaam by signaling with the palm of your hand. This is referenced is Sunan Abu Dawood, Book 2, Hadith Number 0927; Narrated Abdullah ibn Umar: https://sunnah.com/abudawud:927
My question is if the salaam is given such importance during a prayer (when you should have most concentration and are speaking directly with your creator), why is returning the salaam of a fellow Muslim not allowed during Friday khutbah when everyone is listening to the surmon by a khateeb, which is also obligatory to the jhummah prayer?
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JNtXldFs1yQ
https://islamqa.info/en/answers/45651/is-talking-during-khutbah-permissible
I'm a little perplexed by this upon discovering this dichotomy. Does anyone know why there are differences here? May Allah guide us all and only He knows best. Jazakallah Khairan.

Is it recommended to recite 'Ya Shafi Ya Kafi' before taking a medication?

Is it permitted to leave Eid salah before the Khutbah?
The Eid salah is the reverse of Jumu'ah in that it's the salah then Khutbah not Khutbah then salah. I read you must stay until the end of the Khutbah but is there a valid view to leave after the salah as I see some brothers do either ignorantly or via a valid view of the scholars?

I would like to know, whether it is allowed to make
dua
after the Khutba
(is it called sermon?) given by any Iman (say in Friday prayer, Eid prayers).
I have heard different views from different people as to some say *dua* is not to be made after the khutba, and some say it is one of the moments when your *dua* gets accepted. But, these views were never supported by any reference.
Can anyone elaborate on this point with proper reference to authentic sources?

So i know from my knowledge when imam has to give islamic lecture or khutba, he needs give it normally or nicely. but however in my country **Bangladesh**, not all but some of the imam or sheikhs give khutba very harshly sometimes insulting some people, and sometime start yelling.
So i show them some of the verses that says to give speech nicely not yelling as i believe that.
Like this one:
> So by mercy from Allah , [O Muhammad], you were lenient with them. And
> if you had been **rude [in speech] and harsh in heart**, they would have
> disbanded from about you
Verse (3:159)
but they give evidence by quoting a hadith.
and says that messenger (Peace be upon him) used get angry and rasie his voice when giving khutba.
That hadith is this
> It was narrated that Jabir bin 'Abdullah said: "When the Messenger of
> Allah (ﷺ) delivered a sermon, his eyes would turn red, he would raise
> his voice and he would speak with intensity, as if he were warning of
> an (enemy) army, saying, 'They will surely attack you in the morning,
> or they will surely attack you in the evening!' He would say: 'I and
> the Hour have been sent like these two,' and he would hold his index
> and middle finger. Then he would say: 'The best of guidance is the
> guidance of Muhammad. The most evil matters are those that are
> newly-invented, and every innovation (Bid'ah) is a going astray.' And
> he used to say: 'Whoever dies and leaves behind some wealth, it is for
> his family, and whoever leaves behind a debt or dependent children,
> then they are both my responsibility.'"
Grade: Sahih (Darussalam)
Sunnah.com reference : Book 1, Hadith 45
English translation : Vol. 1, Book 1, Hadith 45
Arabic reference : Book 1, Hadith 47
So my question is,
**Is it true that Muhammad (ﷺ) Used to give every khutba this way, and is it allowed to yell and talk harshly while giving khutba?**

In some case the population would reach 10000 as was the case of hajj in the past.
How exactly was it it possible for such a huge population to pray behind one imam and still be able to hear his Qirat or his Khutbah?

What should be done when the name of Holy prophet is repeated several times in a khutba?
While in any address by a mufti, the name of Holy Prophet is repeated multiple times? What should the audience do in this situation? Do we offer darood-o-salam every time or not, because while doing so, one can often lose concentration on the address.

The term calculator is used this [khutba](https://www.al-islam.org/nahjul-balagha-part-1-sermons/sermon-1-praise-due-allah-whose-worth-cannot-be-descrive) in the *Nahjul Balagha* compiled by Sharif Razi
>Praise is due to Allah whose worth cannot be described by speakers, whose bounties cannot be counted by calculators and whose claim (to obedience) cannot be satisfied by those who attempt to do so, whom the height of intellectual courage cannot appreciate, and the divings of understanding cannot reach; He for whose description no limit has been laid down, no eulogy exists, no time is ordained and no duration is fixed. He brought forth creation through His Omnipotence, dispersed winds through His Compassion, and made firm the shaking earth with rocks.
Obviously, there were no such things as calculators then. What is the term that has been translated by this and is there a more appropriate term in English that is available?

But they're speaking **outside** the mesjid, and from outside we can kind of hear the Khutba (but not very clearly) from the electronic speakers at the mesjid. In this case, is talking during Khutba also make you gain nothing but laghw (idle talk)? Jazakum Allah khayran,

I want complete detailed steps on khutbah right from start (stand , say assalamualaikum, sit , athan, stand and say in Arabic etc) to the end (wa aqeemussalah) with references (Hadith or Quran).
I have searched a lot on the internet but they all have their own guidelines without references. I need it as I have no background in khutbah delivery and I need to deliver in my university.
Note:I don't intend to know the topics like how many people are required, the validity of the place etc. I want to know what all the khateeb( related to fardh) has to do basically. I don't mind if you add something which is extra (Sunnah) in your answer but please mention if it's an extra portion.

I have a couple of questions about Prophet Muhammad's (PBUH) last sermon. As there are [different versions](http://en.wikisource.org/wiki/The_Last_Sermon_of_Muhammad) as well as [variant translations](https://islam.stackexchange.com/questions/3032/is-prophet-muhammads-last-sermon-an-accurate-translation) of this sermon in circulation, I have included the copy I am asking about at the end of this question if anyone wants to go over it (I got it in an email).
Anyway, on to the questions:
1. In the beginning of this sermon Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) talks about he not knowing if he'll be alive after that year. **Did he know when he was going to die?**
2. In the sermon Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) says to be aware of Satan because he cannot lead you astray in big things so be aware of following him in small things. **What does he mean when he talks about big things vs. small things?** For instance, what makes a sin big vs. small?
----------
**The Prophet's Last Sermon:** (emphasis mine)
>
> O People, lend me an attentive ear,
> ***for I don't know whether, after this year, I shall ever be amongst you again.***
> Therefore listen to what I am saying to you carefully and take these
> words to those who could not be present here today.

> O People, just as you regard this month, this day, this city as

> Hurt no one so that no one may hurt you. Remember that you will indeed
> meet your Lord, and that He will indeed reckon your deeds. Allaah has
> forbidden you to take usury (Interest), therefore all interest
> obligation shall henceforth be waived...
>
> Beware of Satan, for your safety of your religion.
> ***He has lost all hope that he will ever be able to lead you astray in big things, so beware of following him in small things.***
>

I'd like to know what constitutes a correct khotba of jumua'ah according the different schools of fiqh (if possible name some evidences and references). And whether or how they differ between the first and second khotba (sermon).
