This ads is very much personal, it's on point (not just random ads), because its cookies is always following you collecting data. A lot of people consider this breach of privacy.
Is this halal or haram?
I'm planning to use FB ads to sell items using its ads, which also using tracking tech similar to what I mentioned above.

Okay, before jummah prayer in one of my local mosque, the khatib said all of us to avoid mobile and internet. He said that internet did more harm to Islam than it did any good. He also discouraged promoting Islam online and criticised the scholar who spread Islamic knowledge over internet. He mentioned that photos, videos are totally haram. Even talking over video call is haram too. He requested us too abandon our mobile in order to stay safe from internet. Now my question is, how logical is that? Are everything he said true? Is internet actually no use of Islam?

I have a one character who in story is a witch.Reminding:I don’t support witchcraft, they are not some of worship(shirk) object, don’t distract me from my religion and etc.
I honestly even add a fact to their character that they regret becoming one in the first place to easy it and don’t get it cult-religious.

A similar question has been asked here about transferring funds through PayPal but the purpose in this question is different: it is about buying something (or paying for something you are going to get in future) and not about pure funds transfer from one account to another.
There are two main ways to send money through PayPal:
1. Sending money to friends and family - without paying any fees on any side
2. Sending money to pay for goods and services - only the seller pays a fee: **3.4% + fixed fee** (percentage and the fixed fee vary from country to country); the use of this kind of transaction is when you are sending money to a seller you don't know and you are not sure if the seller will actually ship you the item you agreed upon (could be over eBay, Facebook marketplace, or any other kind of market, as far as I know). If the seller doesn't ship you the item, or the item is does not match the agreed description then you have right to make a claim on PayPal and PayPal is going to refund you (whereas with the first option (Sending money to friends and family) this is not possible).
Is the way number 2 of sending money through PayPal permissible in Islam? To me this seems to be somewhere between a pure funds transfer and some kind of insurance, but this is only my uneducated guess.
Would the ruling change if we were in the role of the seller? Being the seller means you are the one who pays the fee.

In online Muslim support groups, I often see Muslims talking about personal struggles and others saying they will pray for them. However, (I presume) these two people only know each other online, and this strikes me as improper:
- It seems risky to pray for someone you don't really know. What you wouldn't have prayed for them if you had known more about the person or their situation? You could unwittingly be praying for something bad to happen.
- It feels cheap to pray for someone known only online, perhaps known to you as UsernameX. It's as if making this prayer lowers the standard of your prayer, as if they're unsanitized and you would be willing to pray for whatever.
**Question**: Is it improper to pray for someone you only know online?
Since this is common, it's probably okay to do, in which case, I'd be interested in learning what's wrong with my thought process.
And, since this question could be regarded as subjective, I ask that answers be backed up in some way (e.g., by quoting from Quran, Hadith, a fatwa), and not just "you should think X".

I have a website that allows users to shorten their links. They can shorten the URL of any website, which could be, for instance, a phishing attack page (page to steal users' credentials) or a pornographic website for that matter. For clarification, the short links generated in my website redirect to users' original links.
Could the entirety of this service be haram because of those minority of malicious user-generated links?
P.S. it's a renowned service, and widely used for many purposes like marketing to track campaigns...

Assalamualaikum, I recently heard a sheikh give a speech, he said Prophet (Saw) sent letter to Oman from Amr Ibn al aas, and the two kings: abd and jayfar converted willingly. I have found this to be referenced in Zaad Al maad by Ibn Qayyim. However after this the sheikh said that Amr Ibn al aas also tried to convert their father whose name was "Julanda" and apparently this was the conversation:
"The name of the King of Oman was al-Julanda, and news reached him that Prophet Mohammed (peace and blessing be upon him) had invited him to Islam. Upon hearing this he said, "By Allah who has guided me to the unlettered Prophet, if he commands something good, he is the first to do it, and when he forbids something, he is the first to avoid it. When he conquers he is not proud, and when defeated his is not aggrieved. He fulfils a contract and is true to his promise. I bear witness that he is a prophet", and sheikh said he accepted at hands of nabi (saw)
according to my research I cannot find anything of Julanda , I only find that his sons (abd and jayfar) converted willingly in many different books, How true is that conversation which I listed above, and if anyone could find reference would be appreciated,
