Do we need to do sujud as sahu for repeating fatiha in salah in order to correct a word or ayah before going to sujud

In the times when confusion comes in my salah, sometimes there is doubt that I have left a rakat and sometimes I am sure that I have left a rakat. I have to do sajdah sahu in second case but, what about the first case ? I have to do sajda sahu in first case also ?

I thought i made a mistake during Salah/namaz. Then near the end of prayer (when sajda sahuw is said), I realise after saying the salam for sajda sahu that I actually didn't make a mistake. I didn't continue with the sajda etc. I went back to reading attahiyyat again. Was this correct? Or should I have continued with the sajda? Is my namaz/salah valid?

I've heard that when you're unsure abt the no of prostration you should think of the smaller no so it's correct if not so what should I do if I forget the no of prostrations?

Recently, I started feeling as though I missed one sujood in my prayers at least once a day. I thought this was from Shaytan, so I ignored the thought whenever it came up during Salah. I have a long history of waswas (whispers) about the number of sujoods I perform, so I assumed that maybe Shaytan was trying to exploit my weakness. Every time the thought came to mind, I pushed it aside. Today, while praying the third rak'ah, I had doubts about whether or not I performed two sujoods during the sujood. However, I had a gut feeling that I had made two sujoods, and I thought it was just waswas. So, I ignored the doubt. But after I stood up, I started rethinking whether I had made two sujoods or not. Still, I had that gut feeling that I did indeed perform two sujoods, so I ignored the doubt and completed the prayer. However, after finishing, I started to feel as if I might have actually made only one sujood. Is what I did correct, and is my prayer valid?

Salam, i have just started praying and i am in the process of learning more about islam. While I know you can make dua during sujood, i was wondering if it is permissible to ask for worldly things like marriage/a specific person for marriage and whether it can be done in English. The second part of my question is related to duas before and after tasleem. Some say it can be done before tasleem, others say it can be done after tasleem. What is the proper way to do it as I want to make sure I do not make a mistake. (My questions relate to prayers done at home) Thank you

I was praying Isha and I suddenly forgot how many rakat I prayed but I think I was on the 4th. I genuinely am not sure though. Since I wasn't sure, I did sajda sahw at the end before taslim. Was this correct?

As-salam alaykum, I couldn't find anything that answered my questions so here's what happened. today while I was praying salat al dhur during the last rakah i had doubts wether i made two sajdahs or one sajdah at first i thought it was just wiswas so i ignored it but i started thinking about it and i realized i might have i actually made one sajdah. I was already in the second tashahhud so I made sujood al sahw right before taslim do I have to pray my salah again?

let's say in 1 Rakat 2 sujud. Usually, I repeat the tasbih 3 or 5 times on each sujud. So, if in the first sujud I repeated 5 times, in the 2nd one I repeated 3 times accidentally, is it a problem? Do I have to perform Sajda Sahw for that?

However, it doesn't strike me as necessary for Allah to accept Iblis's requests; what is the motivation for agreeing to Iblis's requests? *Q*: Is Allah negotiating with Iblis? Why is Allah agreeing to Iblis's terms?

What rakat in sujud do you make a dua at, can you also do it after tashahhud? And can you make a dua from your heart or from the quran?

if during jummah salaat behind imaam, I joined salaat from beginning & during sajadah I did not hear call for 2nd sajdah as mike went silent & I stood along with others in congregation after only one sajdah, & completed remaining salaat with Imaam. Is my salaat valid?

We are only allowed to prostrate to Allah (swt) otherwise we are committing shirk. Then why were the Angels told to make sajda / go down to sujood for Adam (AS)? Also Yousuf (AS) saw a dream that the planets were prostrating to him which turned out that his brothers prostrated to him.

Especially in taraweeh prayer in the month of Ramadan we perform several times sujud at-tilawa if we meet a verse in which a sujud is required. My question is let's say the sujud should be performed in the verse 17:107: and I planed to go for ruku' right afterwards what are the views of scholars of the different schools of jurisprudence? Is it permissible to go for sujud (perform the sujud) then stand up, then go down for ruku'? Or should one at least recite one more verse before moving to ruku'? In other words: Is there such a difference of opinion in this regards?

Assalamualaikum, I want to do longer sujoods. This is because I want to feel more connected to Allah(swt) in my prayers. In my sujoods, can I recite dua's. For example can I recite, "Hasbi Allahu wa ni'mal wakeel" while in sujood? JazakAllah Khairan!

Sura Inshiqaq (chapter 84) consists of 25 ayat. The 21st verse is Sajda ayah. How is sajda tilawaat done if one recites the Sura Inshiqaq in the 1st rakah of his Salah?

How are there 14 sajdas (prostrations) distributed among the 30 Juz . Which Juz has how many sajdas? How many are up to Juz 13? is it 15 or 14? some places show they are 15.

I would like to know the number of sajdas in Qur'an, and the exact verse numbers where performing a Sajda is required. I have heard that Quran recitation will not be accepted until you haven't performed prostration (sajda) which occur during recitation of Quran. Is it necessary to perform sajda?
