Why are women not allowed to go out alone even in today's society?
Men are allowed to go out to anywhere they like and at anytime they wish. Women on the other hand are restricted and can only go out with a mahram by their side. Men are allowed to go out to anywhere they like and at anytime they wish. Women on the other hand are restricted and can only go out with a mahram by their side. I understand that this is because men are obliged to protect women. However in today's society women can go out without needing protection, especially at times of day light. Also what if the men are at work and the female needs to go out for something?

Aoa I have begun to have mild OCD for the past few months and struggle whenever I am reading duas. For example, I read a dua to seek protection from trials and tribulations, which you read when you see a struggle or illness inflicted on others. I usually say the dua and then bless it on the rest of my family. However, these past few months, I find myself spending several minutes trying to make sure I said all my family members names' and repeat their names 10s of times. After I finish, I worry that I forgot to bless the dua on one of my family members and feel anxious and worried about it for a long time. For this reason, after the dua, I pray to Allah that he accepts my duas for all my family members and for those whose name I forgot to say. Please guide me on whether my prayer after the dua is valid and please explain how dua works in regards to whether you need to verbally say everything or if you can just think about the people you are praying for in your head. Thanks so much May Allah forgive us all and guide us on the right path

I want to know that why did Allah only promised protection of Quran and not his others books? Why didn't he saved other books from human corruption, like he's doing for Quran?

I’ve made a really bad mistake recently and I’m terrified of the consequences of what’s going to happen to me. I’ve become severely depressed and the only thing that’s keeping me going is my belief in Allah and Islam. Please can you tell me a dua that’ll help me through this, one that’ll protect me from the consequences of this awful mistake I made that has ruined my life ,one that’ll help restore my peace of mind and one that’ll ensure everything is ok. I am genuine in my repentance for all the wrongdoings I’ve committed. Please help me I don’t think I’m going to recover from this. ashadu an la ilaha illa'llah wa ashadu anna muhammadan abduhu wa rasululu lā ʾilāha ʾillā-llāh, muḥammadur-rasūlu-llāh

I have read this with regards to the evil eye here however it seems to explain how to protect yourself from the evil eye. However how does one cure the evil eye once one believes he or she has been affected by it? Is it the same procedure? Secondly from what I vaguely understand a bath is required, can this be any bath or is ghusl with specific intention of purifying ones self from the evil eye required? Does one have to go into the bath with intention of purification or can one take a regular bath and then practise those instructions in the above link (if they are for curing)?
