I tried looking up on this and found a mixed bag of answers as they usually only mentioned for Educational purposes (Dawah) or Sightseeing in the context of understanding what you shouldn't do. But what about the intention of sightseeing for purely tourism as in like admiring the architecture, not taking part in any practice and then moving on with your day? Just to clarify, it would not be the sole intention either but just on a bucket list of places during a vacation. Is it still haram?
Thank you

How can I get my family to not go to dargah?

Is making Shrine from Gold a sin?
I have been asked this questions many times, That why the zarih of Imam Hussain and Moula abbas (and many others) is made of Gold. Sometimes it is referenced that > "Gold is forbidden(Haram) for men, and it should not be used this way, and sometimes it is said > that money with all this gold, could...
I have been asked this questions many times, That why the zarih of Imam Hussain and Moula abbas (and many others) is made of Gold. Sometimes it is referenced that
> "Gold is forbidden(Haram) for men, and it should not be used this way,
and sometimes it is said
> that money with all this gold, could feed many needy people".
I am looking for a better logical answer. I know the ideology of Wahhabi school of thought(since they talk about razing prophet SAWW shrine 1 2 3 ). Other than that any reasonable answer would be appreciated.

And I guess it's answer might be related to this Hadith :
> Narrated Abu Huraira:
Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said, "May Allah's curse be on the Jews for they built the places of worship at the graves of their Prophets." (source : http://sunnah.com/bukhari/8/86 )
but what does this exactly mean?
places of worship..
places of worshiping whom? **ALLAH (SWT)** or the grave?
Kidnly, Clarify.
