How can a Muslim know if they are a hypocrite or a sinner?
I have been praying and reading the Quran but I’m worried that I might be a hypocrite. I have been praying and reading the Quran but I’m worried that I might be a hypocrite. I found out what that means a while ago and how bad the punishments are, and I’m scared because I fit some of its description. Even though I pray and see myself as a Muslim, I also do a lot of bad things. For example, I sometimes lie, get upset at my parents, talk to non-Muslim guys, and look at things online that I shouldn’t be looking at. Sometimes I get lazy to pray and do it in a hurry. I pray alone and ask for forgiveness for my sins everyday, but I know that I’ll keep doing it anyways. I feel bad and I do want to be a good Muslim, not for others but for myself and for Allah. But I’m scared now. **Am I a hypocrite or am I just like any other Muslim who commits a sin?**

Trying to attain a deeper level of understanding the Quran
I've had read the Quran in Arabic and suddenly realised that "مُنَافِقِينَ" (hypocrites) and يُنفِقُونَ (spend) have the same root. Is it so? And if yes, what unites them? **Why do I ask?** Because I try to understand the Quran in its original form - in Arabic. And translation to your first language...
And translation to your first language does not reveal the hidden and narrow connections between different Arabic words who are actually close. And bringing the light to it gives much deeper connections to the Book of Allah and may even help you seeing linguistic miracles! Peace and welcome to the journey towards the word of God! *** O, my Lord! Surely, I wanna understand Your word! I wanna meet you And be pleased I testify this!

Would accepting a Christmas bonus make me hypocritical?
I am someone who only celebrates 2 eids (celebrations), and don't recognize Xmas or even say happy holidays etc. Now, would it be hypocritical of me to accept Xmas bonus? Also, if it is, could I accept it, and donate it, or would accepting it at all be a bad idea?

What is the difference between a Khawariji and a Munafiq?
The more I read about the Hadith's on Khawarij, I felt they are similar to Munafiqs. Is there any difference?

Is it possible for a person to become Hypocrite(Munafiq) without himself knowing so?

It is clear that in today's time all those who are Muslims irrespective of sects really believe Muhammad (pbuh) as a prophet hence they can't be the kind of Munafiq(Hypocrite or double-crosser) at the time of the Prophet (pbuh). But we also find such instances during the life of Prophet (pbuh) of companions who also believed in the Prophet (pbuh) by their hearts but became a bit lazy and did not go to Jihad which caused their boycott, accused Prophet (pbuh) of unfair war spoil distribution etc. They were found not to be hypocrites like the other hypocrites who just showed off their belief in Muhammad (pbuh) but only erred and disobeyed some commands of the Prophet (pbuh) (say like not going to Jihad). So even in the current time, is it possible for a person to become Munafiq while believing in Muhammad (pbuh) as a Messenger?
