https://islam.stackexchange.com/questions/40335/what-is-greater-sin-between-murder-and-zina Looking at this answer you can see Zina is a major sin as it is compared to the likes of murder. However, I cant understand why. https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-5988635/Every-murder-costs-nation-3-2million-research-shows.html Murder destroys families, relationships, takes life of innocents, is really expensive and the list just goes on. Some may say the same about Zina but it doesnt cost nearly as much, there are rarely unwanted children and even so it doesnt cost society as much either. Also there are lots of contraceptives and even if there is unwanted pregnancies many can get abortions. This altogether still doesnt have nearly as bad as an impact as murder https://www.bostonglobe.com/ideas/2013/03/03/which-religions-have-most-premarital-sex/whTrXNlukf5nFRk9UlZ64I/story.html Such a large amount of Muslims are having sex before marriage these statistics exclude illegal sexual intercourse within marriage. This number is increasing ---(And the servants of the Beneficent) are those who do not invoke another god with Allah, and who do not…commit fornication/adultery, for whoever does that shall receive the penalty; for him shall the torment be doubled on the day of resurrection, and therein he shall abide forever, disgraced, save him who repents and believes and does good works; those, Allah shall change their misdeeds into good works. And Allah is Forgiving, Compassionate) (Al-Furqan: 68-70). ---“There are three types of sinners that Allah will not speak to on the Day of Resurrection; neither He will purify them nor will He even look at them; rather they will suffer severe punishment: an older person who commits adultery, a king or ruler who lies to his subjects, and a poor person who acts arrogantly!” (Muslim and An-Nasa’i) ---The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, “O mankind! Beware of fornication/adultery for it entails six dire consequences: three of them relating to this world and three to the next world. As for the three that are related to this world, they are the following: it removes the glow of one’s face, brings poverty, and reduces the life-span. As for its dire consequences in the next world they are: it brings down the wrath of Allah upon the person, subjects him to terrible reckoning, and finally casts him in hell-fire” (Al-Bayhaqi). These are examples which show that Zina is comparable to acts such as murder or at least the punishment is supposed to be. This means that majority of the population would be in hell eternally. Some may say that Muslims may ask for forgiveness but what about the others not to mention not all of Muslims will ask for forgiveness, some dont care and some dont even know. Why is Zina compared to murder when in this world it has such less impacts and quite a lot of times (from experience with communciating with others etc) it doesnt have any bad impacts?

My city is full of people who do haram things all the time (seemingly) unknowingly. People smoke, do drugs, box, watch haram films, fight, dont dress modestly, talk to people of the opposite gender in an immodest manner, go out with girlfriends frequently. Getting into the more major side people commit zina (really really frequent), drink alcohol (not as common but still) etc. Some of these things a lot of people on social media such as having relationships, dressing, talking, films, drugs etc and sometimes it can be tempting especially when they are so often associated with freedom and things that are wonderful/bring joy and excitement to your life. Sometimes its hard to keep in check and this in turn may lead people into other haram acts. Are there any verses in the Quran that address the whole idea of being tempted and how to prevent temptation?

Many muslims they had successful and happy life in this world, maybe they had wealth or became a famous or became a great scholar or became a leader or had a good spouse and children etc whatever maybe you can say they had it good. While others didn't achieve much or nothing even if they tried hard for successes so you can say they had it less in this world would they receive more in Jannah because they had less in dunya? Please answer with evidence from Quran and hadith if you can.

Assalamualaikum.. my question is regarding the fairness of this life's test. A group of pious people are having an OK life and they are doing their islamic duties correctly. A second group of pious people are tested to the maximum in ways unimaginable. My question is how will Allah grade each of them. the Second group suffered so much on earth yet they did their islamic duties. But, the first group, even though they didnt suffer anything on earth, did their islamic duties. How then is it fair? The second group didnt get anything from life on earth. THe first group got something from life on earth but they hadnt asked for it. Why didnt Allah then make life on Earth somewhat equally difficult. Why the bias towards either group? Please comment.

Miracles are used generally in theological/religious contexts; outside of them they're seen as either rationally explicable as signifiers of theological truths that are uncovered by hermeneutics of various kinds. I want to see whether there are other valid ways at looking at miracles that might signify the presence of Allah. For example - one question is why is there something rather than nothing. Physics starts from the supposition that some substance is there, and then establishes the laws that it obeys (generally conservation laws). The explanation that the universe appeared out of nothing through some fluke quantum fluctuation doesn't explain anything, or more precisely it just pushes what is to be explained further back - that is the laws that guarantee a such a possible fluctuation. It's easily seen that a similar argument results in an infinite regression. Nor does Smolins offering of a eco-system of universes seeding each other offer a way out of this conundrum. Hence the fundamental question remains - why something rather than nothing - does this count as a miracle? For example, in Quranic hermenaeutics, the world is called th Greater Qur'an because it also signifies the presence of Allah (as Creater); Is there anyway around this argument of infinite regression? I can't see that it is possible. In fact it has some contact with the antinomies of Kant who demonstrated there are question beyond the remit of reason. Which means that they must remain either unresolved or must be filled by faith of some kind. A second possibility is the limits of causality that Hume identified, as well as al-Ghazali. Hume offered no resolution. Al-Ghazali offered Occasionalism - that is the world is sustained from moment to moment by the Allah. (In Koranic Hermeneutics its referred to the verse Al-Fatiha where Allah is called the Sustainer of the Worlds). Kant, of course offered a reasoned resolution by correlationism (which signifies the correlation between the human mind & the real). One might say, rather than God sustaining the illusion of the world as phenomena, it is the human mind - one has substituted Man for God - in at least as this position; but of course this still rather leaves noumena as undescribable and unexplained.

What does Islam say about birth of living being? I've read that according to Quran, God(Allah) is creator, destroyer, judge,..etc. So, as we know that world is made of two things 1.sentient/living(सजीव) and 2. non-sentient/non-living/(निर्जीव). Now non-living things are made once but what about living beings? If Jivas are only made once then how world has continue new Jivas? I am not sure about whether Islam believes in re-birth of Jivas. So, I want to understand the life-cycle of Jivas. Also I'm interested for the cause of world and Jivas according to Islam. Note that I'm new to learn about Islam and As far as I know Quran is considered as the final truth from Allah. So, I prefer the information/knowledge from Quran. (Quote the verses from Quran related to this question). If there are a specific terms for world, jivas, re-birth etc according to Islam, then tell me to use it.

My question is going to be straight and direct because I believe in asking it instead of keeping it with me. I think answers can convince a person to a huge extent and remove all the doubts that may arise from keeping things in one's heart so please bear with me. Islam is all about justice. If so, then why don't we, as children, have a choice about being born into this world? Hazrat Adam(AS) defied Allah by eating in Jannah; and that resulted in him being sent to the earth. But punishing the whole humanity for it? How is that fair? One can argue it wasn't our right to begin with when we were in Jannah; but still this question comes to my mind a lot. Why don't I have the choice to decide if I should be born into this world or not? If I absolutely have to go through it; then in many ways; somethings aren't ours to decide and how does that translate into justice?
