If someone could perhaps also share commentaries and references for this hadith: >Regarding the Verse: "Indeed he (Muhammad) did see. Of the Signs of his Lord, The Greatest!" (53.18) **That the Prophet (ﷺ) had seen a green carpet spread all over the horizon of the sky.** > > Sahih Bukhari 3233

Is it possible to combine prayers even if not travelling?
The Quran says: *"...When you are secure, offer the prayer duly, because the prayer has been prescribed to the believers as **linked to particular times.**"* (An-Nisa 4:103) And the times are defined also: *“Offer the prayer **from the decline (westwards shift) of the sun** till (the beginning of) t...
The Quran says: *"...When you are secure, offer the prayer duly, because the prayer has been prescribed to the believers as **linked to particular times.**"* (An-Nisa 4:103) And the times are defined also: *“Offer the prayer **from the decline (westwards shift) of the sun** till (the beginning of) the chill of the night, and during the accumulation of red lights of dawn. The accumulation of red lights of dawn is certainly visible.”* (Al-Isra 17:78) “Offer the prayer in **two parts of the daytime** and in the hours of the night that are closer to daytime...” (Hud 11:114) Start of Dhuhr is defined: *from the decline (westwards shift) of the sun* End of Asr is defined: *Offer the prayer in two parts of the daytime*, therefore end of asr is end of daytime. But the line between of those two parts of the daytime (end of dhuhr/beginning of asr) is nowhere cleary defined. The Prophet also combined sometimes those prayers without being on a journey or having fear of anything: Narrated from Ibn Abbas: *“The Messenger of Allah combined Dhuhr and Asr, Maghrib and Isha. There was **no fear, no journey**.”* (Muslim, Prayer of the travelers, 6/59) And there are five furhter ahadith on that: (Muslim, Prayer of the travelers, 6/60, 6/65, 6/66, 6/68) **Is it allowed to combine those prayers without being on a journey or without having any excuse (having fear of something)?**

Are angels faster than light particles (E = MC2 is non-Islamic)?

By far, Einstein's best-known equation is "**E=mc2** - *energy equals mass times the velocity of light squared*." According to this equation, any given amount of mass is equivalent to a certain amount of energy, and vice versa. In other words, **the speed of the light in vacuum is the upmost limit of the motion for anything which carries energy and or information**. But as per many incidents in Islam scriptures, we know that angels are able to travel to the heavens and back in under a 'earth day'. Angel Gabriel has also visited our planet from the **seventh heaven** many a time. It is also believed that Prophet Muhammed (SAW) traveled to the seventh heaven, visited paradise and hell, crossed the Sidrat al-Muntaha all in less than a night. Given that space is denser than vacuum and things tend to travel even slower in a denser medium, **if angels can cover such large distances in such short intervals, are they faster than light particles?** **Note** :
It takes light 100,000 light years to traverse from one corner of the milky way to the other as per current scientific knowledge. We are not aware of the orientation of the **milky way ** w.r.t to the sky of our first heaven. But given the tilt of earth's axis and assuming the sky is 'above', it would take light particles ~1000 light years to exit the galaxy at a perpendicular angle *(Avg thickness of Milky Way is 0.3kpc.)*

Indeed, He is the Hearing, the Seeing. -- Qur'an 17:1 > > And We gave Moses the Scripture and made it a guidance for the Children of Israel that you not take other than Me as Disposer of affairs, -- Qur'an 17:2 When I read the first ayah in this surah, it clearly describes the event of israk mikraj to me? But when come to the next ayah, I feel lost. What is the actual context of this two ayah since the name of the surah clearly point to people of Israel in the era of Prophet Musa AS.

Who did name Surah al-Isra as Bani-Israel? (As the other name of Al-Isra)?
The seventeenth Surah of the Holy Qur’an is famous as two names. Actually, one of its names is Al-Isra and the other name is well-known as Bani-Israel. I've got 2 queries: 1. Which one is the main name of this Surah? 2. Who named it as Bani-Israel? (As it is famous as Bani-Israel as well)
