In what condition can it be permissable for a muslim leader to provide furniture to a Church?

In a country with a large population of both Muslims and Christians is it permissable for a muslim politician seeking both Christians and Muslims votes to donate furniture to a Church as he also donate to mosques proving that he would be a just and a fair leader if elected?
