> She is indeed my sister, the daughter of my father, but not the daughter of my mother; and so she became my wife. - Gen 20:12
I tried googling it and I found this [link](https://stone-kingdom.net/index.php?cID=398) which had the following diagram:
But that doesn't work as sister, because she's Terach's grandaughter. Abraham's niece.

Case 2:
Sarah laughed to herself,-Genesis 18:12
The LORD doesn't get angry'?'
as Abraham fell facedown and laughed while Sarah laughed to herself. Is the anger'?'
of LORD because of Sarah's lie that She didn't laugh
?
NB: '?'
is used just because I'm not sure if it's real anger.

When did Sarah call Abraham "lord"?
Peter says that Sarah called Abraham "lord" (i.e., master) and that it was a good thing. When did she do this? And how does Peter know this? Peter says that Sarah called Abraham "lord" (i.e., master) and that it was a good thing.
When did she do this? And how does Peter know this? I can't find it anywhere in scripture.
> **1 Peter 3:5,6 ESV** For this is how the holy women who hoped in God used to adorn themselves, by submitting to their own husbands, **as Sarah obeyed Abraham, calling him lord**. And you are her children, if you do good and do not fear anything that is frightening.

Why was Abraham better able to protect Sarah from Abimelech as her brother than as her husband?
As recorded in Genesis 12 & 20: Abraham was afraid that Abimelech would kill him and take his Sarah from him if the king knew that they were married, so he said she was his *sister* instead. How did presenting her as his sibling rather than wife protect her from that? Couldn't the king still have ki...

Abraham was afraid that Abimelech would kill him and take his Sarah from him if the king knew that they were married, so he said she was his *sister* instead. How did presenting her as his sibling rather than wife protect her from that? Couldn't the king still have killed him and taken her?

Why is God on Sarah's side when she asked Abraham to cast out Hagar and Ishmael?
> The child grew and was weaned, and on the day Isaac was weaned Abraham held a great feast. > The child grew and was weaned, and on the day Isaac was weaned Abraham held a great feast. But Sarah saw that the son whom Hagar the Egyptian had borne to Abraham was mocking, and she said to Abraham, “Get rid of that slave woman and her son, for that woman’s son will never share in the inheritance with my son Isaac.”
>
> The matter distressed Abraham greatly because it concerned his son. **But God said to him, “Do not be so distressed about the boy and your slave woman. Listen to whatever Sarah tells you, because it is through Isaac that your offspring will be reckoned.** I will make the son of the slave into a nation also, because he is your offspring.” *(Genesis 21:8-13, NIV)*
According to Genesis 21:12 you can see that God is on Sarah's side to send Hagar and Ishmael away. Is it to realize his promises? We all know that God's plan works sometimes strange.
Can somebody maybe elaborate on this please? Because I can't completely understand why God would do something like this.
