ESV verse removed? Where are the explanations found?
I was wondering where I can find the actual simple online reasons for the removal of the "accepted" verses in the KJV, in the ESV bible version listed on this site, because I have not found them so far, Thanks. https://www.scionofzion.com/esv_exposed.htm

Isaiah 14:6: ESV vs NKJV
The two different interpretations seem to be completely opposite each other. In NKJV the verse is as follows: > He who struck the people in wrath with a continual stroke, He who > ruled the nations in anger, Is persecuted and no one hinders. I don’t think these verses are saying the same thing. Am I reading it wrong?

What’s so liberal about the NRSV?

I recently ran across [this comment](https://christianity.stackexchange.com/questions/27313/german-bible-translation-like-nkjv-esv-nasb-etc#comment110675_27313) suggesting that the ESV translation was undertaken because the NRSV was ‘too liberal.’ I’ve often been curious what prompted this split in the KJV-lineage group, and I've heard similar statements from others about doctrinal (or political?) motivations. I’m aware of the Isaiah 7:14 issue,* and I see that the ESV and NRSV diverge frequently in their decisions about gender language. But I’m not familiar with other major discrepancies.
Among those who consider the NRSV ‘too liberal,’ what other decisions or categories of decisions are commonly cited?
----
*Although that one was actually an *RSV* decision (reversed in the ESV), not new to the NRSV. I’m also not clear that this should be considered a liberal vs conservative issue, but it’s often cited that way.

I have read both the [New King James version][1] and the [English Standard version][2]. I have noticed very trivial differences between the two. What, if any, are the major differences between the NKJV and the ESV? [1]: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/New_King_James_Version [2]: http://en.wikipedia.org...

What are the differences between the translation ideologies of the NASB and ESV?
