In this video, a monk tried to draw a distinction between "mythology" and "history facts" ... [Ajahn Sujato - Buddhist Mythology - The Sacred and the Profane - Part 3](https://youtu.be/QgSj6Wa9vPA) ... saying that "Mythology" just has a community (identification) purpose. Yet my person's thought was, "and how is that different to 'factual' history (aside that it faster changes)?" How can "mythology" ([Anussava](https://dsalsrv04.uchicago.edu/cgi-bin/app/pali_query.py?page=45)) , and "history" (perhaps thought as [Itivea](https://dsalsrv04.uchicago.edu/cgi-bin/app/pali_query.py?page=119)?) , be seriously distinguished, if possible? And how should the past be seen, grasped, in accordance with the path, practice? What kind of mythology, history, and *anussati* (bringing into present) is conductive for one's way, toward long-time happiness and beyond? *(Note that this is not asked for trade, stacks, exchange or entertainment, but for good undertakings toward release from this wheel)*

How can one point to one's consciousness?
For example, I can point to my eye: the eye itself; I can point to an object of the eye: a book; But I cannot point to the eye-consciousness that arises based on the two.

We know that there are combinations of Cetasikas that are used to identify different Cittas. I want to know how to determine Cetasikas in a naama who is having the udaya waya gana (or steps ahead like bhanga khana ). If we consider one naama, there are multiple cetasikas in different amounts. If a person can see naama with their meditation power, how they ditermine what are the Cetasikas in one naama and what are the amounts were there. As a example, lets suppose that the meditator had a "somanassa sahagatha Khana(Gana) sampayuthha asankarika" citta (This is having 17 naama). How to determine what are the cetasikas were at each of 17 naama, out of 52 cetasikas? We know there must be Aloba, Adosa and Amoha cetasikas in naamas at previously mentioned citta, but how to determine the amount or the power of these cetasikas? I think it must be a really tough exercise and very tricky one to the meditator. I would like to know the strategy in step by step. I need abidhamma expert's answer.

Could a software model of Abidhamma ( human thought Process - citta) help in Psychology?
As of my understanding, Abidhamma explains the initial thinkings (citta -thought process) and models the final thinking patterns. If someone implements this known patterns in software, wouldn't it be helpful to identify possible abnormal mental conditions of people?

How in buddhistic terms one can explain life evolution?
How can in Buddhistic terms explain life evolution, that is how can new beings evolve from previous nama-rupa? How could a vipāka (resultant-consciousness) "move" from cuti-citta (dying-consciousness) to the patisandhi-citta (rebirth-consciousness) of a being not yet existing?
