English books on the Seerah (biography of the Prophet sallallaahu aleyhi wasallam)

I'm looking for an English Seerah book that fits (at least some of) the following qualities: 1. written in narrative form 2. gives significant consideration to authenticity (not a compilation of unverified reports) 3. preferably concise 4. preferably authored in English, but translated works are also welcome
