Couple with daughters more blessed and sign of Allah blessing?

I have heard that "If Allah gives you daugther, Allah has hold you hand", I know there is a similiar Sahih Bukhari regarding this but if Allah has blessed someone with just sons does that mean Allah is not happy with either wife or husband or hardship will be faced? How do I silence such debate?
