Do i need to pay zakat on the money i have saved for a immediate need?

>I have been saving up money for house deposit for a few years and been giving zakat on it every year. This year i will have enough to pay for the deposit and i am going to the start the process of buying the house. If i pay zakat on the saved amount, i will be short and might need to take a loan to cover. Am i required to pay the zakat on the savings in this case?
